Laser Storm is a really fun, family-friendly place. The kids had a great time playing laser tag and the staff were nice and helpful. The hours have changed a little, so it's a good idea to check before going. Monday is members night- $5 per game, tue&thur fire till you tire- unlimited games for a flat price.We also looked at the birthday parties. They are a little expensive, but they're worth it because everything is included and you don't have to worry about setting up or cleaning up. They also donate a lot back to our community and will help with fundraising events. Overall, it's a great place for families and birthday parties. read more

I booked my son's 10th birthday party here for July. They have some of the best kids party prices in the area and we got bored doing the same things so tried them. Probably only paid around $350 for 10 kids including 5 pizzas, drinks, arcade tokens for each kids and 2 laser tag games. Had a party room for 2 hours. I like that it's not a large business but a smaller more personal feel. Parents of birthday kid play tag free. We had a good smooth fun time and my son said it was the best ever. They were given free laser tag game coupons for the game winners. Recommend! read more

I'm giving 3 stars because we had really good experiences in the past. My younger Son and I would stop on our "date night" (he's 10). If the parking lot was empty, we would pop in and ask if we could get a quick game in... just us. We have waited for a group or 2 in the past, but then were allowed to play together. If someone came in at the last minute, they would still let just us/our group play. Tonight we stopped in due to the parking lot being very empty. Surprisingly, there was a party going on, so we asked,"hey, is it possible to sneak in a quick game?" We need no instructions, we need no guidance.. and we let them know that (this means that we are in and out in 15 min). As we were about to walk to the door, the birthday guide led a party in. Cool, we will wait. It was 2 groups. No biggie. Minutes before the group ahead of us is done, I asked the lady working (manager? Owner?) a question related to our game, and she told us that EVERYONE would play. I totally understand maximizing profits, but when a family who waits for half hour while they've got NO outside business and are told that they're now in a group? Really? That's money-grubbing... over FIFTEEN minutes. She did refund 2 tokens (mine and hubbys).. I wasn't trying to run around a full arena in heels. Had they been busy, we would've simply said "thank you" and left... we've always been polite, tipped well, waited... never, ever a complaint until today. If this lady is the owner, I'll hesitate to come back frequently or book my kiddos party.... I am a small business owner.. I get it... so as a business owner, I try to KEEP my customers, esp if it's a measly 15 minutes. Update.... She's an OWNER..... that's WORSE!!!! read more

Be careful when having a birthday party at laser storm. They give you a quote for the party but then ask all of the adults who brought their kids if they want to play. They hand out the game cards as if they are free to all attending, then charge the host of the party $9.00 for each adult without consulting anyone paying the bill. This practice adds about 35% percent to the quote and bill. read more

What a great place! I've been here several occasions and the experience has always been great for the kids (and adults too!). I've always managed to go when it wasn't too busy, so that has been helpful! The lobby has additional games and seating for breaks in between games and the course is sized right that when it's just been a few of us it didn't feel like we couldn't still play the game. Plus the winner of the round gets a coupon for future games! The staff have always been friendly and helpful. What a great time we had here at this little place. We first came here on a Friday and it was extremely busy. We ended up doing a game with about 25 or 30 people. This style of laser tag is a little bit more difficult than other places I have been. You have to aim for the headset on the other team plus when you get shot you have to go to a charge station to reload your gun. With such a large group they allowed you to get shot up to three times before you would have to recharge your weapon but when we played with a smaller group when you got shot twice you had to recharge. Each team has a base that they charged their weapons at but if you manage to make it to the other team side you can aim you're going at their siren and gain extra points for your team. They give you 10 minutes to play which is pretty nice considering a lot of the time you'll be running back to charge your gun. When the game is over they give you an individualized statistic sheet of how well you did. It list who you have hit and who hit you as well as where are you rank among the people you were playing with. I had all my nephews and nieces and somehow managed to come in fourth amongst them even though they were 12 and under. They're little arcade is nice but can get crowded when there's more than 20 people there. We didn't really get a chance to play any games so we ended up at Chucky cheese instead. One nice thing that they have there is a moving rock wall that you can climb according to your experience. You can set the level as high as you need to and the wall will move faster. They have different specials during the week. We went on a Wednesday or Thursday and it was buy one get one free which was nice. There were a lot less people in there but it was still really fun. read more

Had my sons 6th birthday party here! The kids had tons of fun. The only negative was after the laser tag game when you go back into the ready area they already have a group in there getting ready for their game. Bit of a hassle trying to get the vests off of 10 5 &6 year olds while others are trying to find and get theres on in a room that's not very big. I've been a pretty big fan of Laser Storm for years now. It's a nice place that is nice for both casual and more serious laser tag players. You get a print out at the end of each match with all sorts of stats on it: accuracy, who you shot, who shot you, and how many times you shot the enemy base to name a few. They also run deals regularly (buy one get one games, ladies night, etc), it's good to plan out beforehand to save some money. I recently passed the torch and took my niece and nephew here for a few games. They both really enjoyed it, especially the giant Fruit Ninja arcade game hanging out in the lobby. Hands down the best laser tag place in the area they change the layout of the arena frequently enough to keep it interesting. Midnight Madness is a bargain at $15 for 2 hours. You get all of your stats on a sheet after each game and if you are a member your stats are posted online and on the wall. The staff is friendly and efficient at keeping things moving. Plenty of arcade games to kill time between rounds and a cool climbing wall. I drive all the way from Murrysville to go and pass 2 other laser tag places to go to what is hands down the best laser tag around. Go and I promise you won't regret it you will have so much fun no matter the age always makes you feel like a kid again. I wish they would get better speakers in the arena for the music but that's a very minor complaint. read more

I booked a birthday party for 10 children with the 3 game package. They had a great time. That being said, it cost $321 not counting the extra $40 I bought in tokens, so $361 total. The $361 did include a birthday cake and 3 pizza's which they made themselves. They automatically charged $.15% on the total amount of the bill for service which they said included splitting between all the staff that helped (when I asked how many helped, they said 5). The .15% charged on the bill was $40...which I later found out if I wanted to tip the servers in the party room was extra, I could include it on the bill...so I ended up leaving an extra $15 for the two girls...essentially my bill was for tipping was $55. for a 2 1/2 hour birthday for 10 children. Now I don't mind tipping the two party room attendants, but really splitting the $40 tip with the people who ran the laser game and cooked the food was a bit ridiculous considering I never saw them and they don't do anything extra with the birthday party children than they do for the customers who walk in the door and aren't charged extra for their service. They only give 100 tokens for 10 children (included in the birthday party) to play on the machines for the time they are in the game room...these tokens literally lasted about 10 minutes. So all in all, my children had fun, but it was extremely expensive and I doubt I will be a return birthday partier. read more

So let me start with the positives. All 16 kids had fun at my sons 7th birthday. You only pay for what you use. The things that I was not so trilled with are for one they do nothing extra for the birthday child. They give a coupon for a free game of laser tag to the MVP of the game for both teams. They do not give one to the birthday kid ( the parents pay for the party and it is not cheap 16.00/ child that gives you 2 games of laser tag and 6 tokens one cake and the pitchers of pop ) then the pizza are extra and more tokens are extra. Then when we it came time to pay the bill the party attendant tell is that he does not get the 18% gratuity goes in a pool. He was looking for us to give him more money as a tip. I did most of the work. He did not have the tokens ready for 16 boys who were ready to play even though I said I would do it. I ask to pre cut the cake while they were playing there last game he wouldn't. We had to do all the drinks. I don't think he knows how to do large party with 7 year old active boys. So in the end it was fun for the boys a lot of work for me and expensive. I would not recommend this to my mom friends. read more
