I finally visited for the first time in late June and was pleasantly surprised at what a fun time we had. You can either register online prior to your arrival or you can use one of their ipads to register. Each player gets a golf ball that is individually coded to them. So it tracks every stroke you take (no cheating) and automatically adds the score (including bonus points on some holes). One nice thing is that you can skip around if there are lines at the holes. This is really helpful especially if you are there with a group. They also have tables throughout the course that let you place your drink down. You do need to pay attention to make sure you stay on your own course because the two courses are right next to each other. If your ball suddenly isn't registering, it is probably because you are on the wrong course. Food is pretty tasty (although a little overpriced). You can eat any time and they have an option that you can order food before you golf and have it ready for when you are done (but I imagine it could get difficult to try and time that correctly), There is metered street parking right outside and a large surface lot behind the building. Overall a fun place to take your family or a unique date night.

It appeared most people were putting not so much eating. We played nine holes and I could have easily stayed for another nine. It is pricey for four people. I appreciated the servers coming to the holes for drinks. Each hole has a space to place your drinks while you putt. PuttShack was the perfect family outing for us. The ball is digitally assigned to each person. There is no keeping track of the score. Every time you put the ball on the tee the computer recognizes you.

Pricing is just too expensive to only be selling garnished bar food. Anyways...I ordered the street tacos without the sauce or cheese because I cannot eat dairy. I was able to get guac, pico, & lettuce on the side, which was superb! The tacos came out first, without any of those sides, and I had to wait 5-10 minutes for those side toppings to come out. The tacos were cold and the chicken was quite dry. Luckily our wonderful server came out with the side toppings which really helped mask those couple of flaws with the tacos. The first server that asked for our drink orders only asked me what I wanted to drink, then walked away and got the water but never brought it back. She didn't even ask my friend what he wanted to drink. I thought that was strange and honestly unprofessional. The second server came around and he was STELLAR! His name is Damond and he's an absolute peach! Super kind, patient, and happy to answer any question you have, no matter how annoying it may be--lol. He really seemed to pick up the pieces that the previous server left behind, and his service completely shifted my dining experience. We were very well taken care of with him around, and I just had to recognize how wonderful of a job he did! The world needs more Damonds! We happened upon this place on the way home from a different adventure and I'm so glad we did. My…read more12 year old son and I did the sidewinder maze where we had to run through, collecting 4 different stamps. It took longer than I thought it would and we finished around 16 minutes. Then, we played mini golf. The course was challenging enough to be fun without being frustrating. There was a structure there that used to be a ropes course but it was no longer in use. The guy working there was really friendly and kind. We will definitely stop there again for some Summer fun.

We earned some of the highest scores we've ever gotten with mini golf, but also had a great time acquiring those awful numbers. There's a practice green and there are (removable) flags in the holes. There are also plenty of nets to retrieve balls from the water. There are a few sets of stairs, too. So this course isn't for everyone. It's a beautiful facility. The location is very close to the interstate, but when you're there, it sort of feels like the middle of nowhere.
