First time doing laser treatment. Had a quick consultation call with Mariah to go over general information about laser treatment and packages. I got the wedding treatment package: legs, underarms and Brazilian! Mariah got me an appointment within the same weekend of my consultation. Janette my nurse was super nice and both her and Mariah were so welcoming at the clinic. Janette explained how the treatment works as well and how it will feel. Underarms and legs were not painful at all to me, very bearable pain and when it got to my Brazilian the "tapping" Janette did definitely distracted from the short discomfort of the treatment. I became interested in Laser Away when I was getting sponsored ads for their halloween specials on botox and other services. I expressed interested online and was able to set up a demo for the following day to speak with a consultant. Instead, that same day a sales rep reached out to me and was helpful and kind but also pushy for the sale. She explained that I could be "financed" for the package I was interested in and I was curious if I would be accepted for the loan. Ultimately, I decided to not move forward with the services and let her know within the same 15 minutes of our phone call. I realized in fact their specials were not that great of prices in comparison to other local med spas and I was not ready to move forward with the appointment because I was also nervous about the procedure. So i asked her to please cancel the application. She did not have a good response and her attitude totally switched. I personally am in sales and customer service and if a client backs out it will not change their mind by giving them attitude. Then she proceeded to tell me she would send confirmation of the cancellation and then never did. 2 weeks later I got a credit card in the mail, even though via text message with her I asked if it was a credit card and she said no its a loan (I searched the company myself and learned its a credit card). Transparency regarding financing should be a priority if a company has integrity and wants returning clients. I messaged her the day I received the credit card and instead of even saying hello how are you? Let me look into this or let me explain this more throughly she had a very dry answer that---- the application you applied for is a loan. NO- the application was for a line of credit. I recommend getting your sales teams educated on the facts and giving them a crash course on better customer service. If I felt better about he overall customer service maybe I would use this line of credit for a different service at Laser Away. But thats def not happening now :/ read more

I just finished my complete laser sessions at laser away. I got Brazilian, underarms, and full legs. The results are perfect and I no longer get bumps every time I shave. Perfect for summer! Throughout the process I have definitely had ups and downs. To warn others- I would only do this service if you have the full amount of money. I did the "finance option" which basically means they opened a credit card for me. (Which also brought my credit score down 70 points) Also, there's no list of services on their website which I don't like bc I like reading about services and taking mental notes. To get any information you have to call or talk in person which is way harder to remember pricing and general services. They had a lot of scheduling issues in the past couple of months but I usually go on my lunch break to get my laser so if they asked to move my appointment I always told them no. In regards to staff, they have always been nice. I have had some great nurses and some not so fun ones though. There really is one nurse who just never seemed happy to be there and was tired; she was resting her head down when doing my legs. She also like tapped my leg when doing my Brazilian and I didn't like it. I have bad hips and it was actually hurting me when she did that. And I also don't think she had enough focus on the Brazilian laser and never got every spot. I would have said something but my literal whole hooha was out and I didn't get a chance to say no. Currently I have a bunch of points that I now have to call or go in person to see what I can do with them. Again, I wish I could just book a service myself online or at least see what my points can do online by myself in a NO PRESSURE ENVIRONMENT which Laseraway is not. lol. (They will pressure you to buy anything so they can make their commission, which go off queen, but like please be nice about it lol) read more

Paid $3k for 8 sessions of laser hair removal. $3k. At around session 5, I told the RN that my hair growth wasn't really slowing down or thinning much and that I was concerned it wasn't going to change that much in 3 more sessions.. the nurses noted it in their charts (or I hope they did because I asked) and assured me that it was still early. My hair is THICK BLACK. I'm supposed to get decent results. Sessions 6 & 7 went by and I was still voicing my concerns. On my last session, I told Michelle the RN to please inquire about me getting another session done or at the bare minimum have a manager call me to discuss my results at their earliest convenience. These sessions are time sensitive. Michelle never got back to me and a manager never got back to me, I was able to get corporate on the phone and they said they'd have someone reach out to me. Nothing. It has been 6 weeks, i'm due for another session and the $3k I spent on 8 weeks is going out the window. BOTTOM LINE IS.... They don't care if you get results or not. It's all about them making $. I'm extremely unsatisfied with my results and the customer service of this company. Aside from that, the facility is well kept and the front desk girls are very nice. After only 4 of 12 sessions, I already see significant improvement and almost all of the hair is gone.
