This is a scam. Paid 2k for 8 laser hair removal sessions that DID NOT WORK! then I find out that the same areas cost between 500-800 anywhere else for the same number of sessions. I had to redo everything someplace else and it worked. Just hated that I had to waste 2 thousand dollars with laseraway. This is corporate and all they want is your money. I should've known better. I'm filing this complaint after an extremely disappointing experience with LaserAway's corporate team. I want to be clear that the staff at the Tampa location were respectful and even helped process a refund. However, the way I was treated by Candie, a sales rep, and Gina, a corporate representative, was beyond unprofessional. I recently had a baby and purchased a package hoping to do something for myself. I told Candie I was in pain after the procedure, and she kept texting me things like, "Well, that means it's working," with zero concern or empathy. Her tone was dismissive and condescending, especially considering I had just given birth and was still recovering. Then I received a call from Gina at corporate. From the very beginning, she was rude. At one point she said, "Are you over 18? Did your mommy buy this package for you?" I was stunned. I'm a grown woman, a teacher, and a new mom. That comment was completely inappropriate and deeply offensive. I explained that I was experiencing pain and discomfort, and instead of listening or showing any empathy, she mocked me and then hung up the phone on me saying "We're done here" Thankfully, the Tampa team refunded my unused portion, but that doesn't make up for the emotional distress caused by these women. As someone healing from childbirth, I felt dismissed, disrespected, and humiliated. No one should be treated this way, especially when they're already in a vulnerable state. read more

The LaserAway experience after only four treatments has been amazing so far ,one of my favorite things about this entire experience is the amazing staff. The Director ,Grace is nothing but personable ,understanding and makes you feel very comfortable to ease every concern that you have prior to your appointment. The receptionist , Lindsay was also amazing with handling my appointment details and any payment discrepancies with the payment provider with ease and patience. Physician Assistants, Alyssa and Ashley were outstanding. They were able to make me feel extremely comfortable by explaining the process and letting me know the details of any post treatment requirements to ensure that I have a healing process that goes smoothly. Additionally, the pain process during the treatment is definitely manageable. A lot of the reviews I was reading prior from a laser experience has a lot to do with the type of machines that the laser location utilizes . LaserAway uses the best of the equipments that are able to target each and every skin tone. After only four treatments so far, I barely have any type of hair growth on my legs. Run Away!!! The most unprofessional salon I've ever been to. Check their BBB reports, and DO NOT fall for their predatory sales pitch. They will overpromise on what you're getting, lie about the expectations, bundle in treatments that you don't need or want, and you may be in worse shape in the end. Their slick sales girl talked me into Thermage, saying just one treatment will give me great results and last for years. Every other salon I've since visited says three treatments at minimum are recommended. No worries, the technicians at LaserAway take every opportunity to try and upsell you. Not happy with what you got? Their simple answer is always to BUY MORE. One treatment they recommended left me with zebra stripes up both arms. When i went back to complain, the tech advised me to let it heal then buy more treatments. The sales girl says they had issues with this technician before (?!!!) yet they booked me with her for Thermage also (?!!). No accountability with their manager or corporate either. They stopped offering IPL and refused to give a full refund. Bottom line, their techs are unqualified to work with lasers and they only care about profits. Zero stars deserved. Pricing is no better than MD office or salons with licensed clinical advisors. read more

terrrible on so many levels. I went in for a tattoo removal consultation and was told they could have my tattoo removed within 6 sessions. I told them i didn't have the money just yet so i would let them know once i saved enough to pay the package total in full upfront. they hounded me almost daily for weeks even though i made it very clear i would reach out when i had the money and that my hands were tied until then. it was so off putting. cut to my recent appointment a couple days ago - i was ready to pay and start the treatments and then they tell me i'm "too dark" for their tattoo laser technology. why in the world does a tattoo removal company not have the technology to treat all skin tones? also, why wasn't that disclosed to me during my FIRST consultation? i'm olive skin toned...you're telling me a multi-million dollar nationwide business isn't willing to invest in lasers that can treat more than pale white skin? read more

STAY AWAY!!!! I paid over 4k for 2 treatments of thermage which was supposed to help me tighten the loose skin on my stomach. I was told I would see full results after a year. It has now been over a year & if anything, my loose skin is actually worse. I came in to take pictures of the results and the lady that did my consultation told me that she understood my concerns and she didn't think that I got 4k worth of results. I, then, receive a call from Brian that tells me that he thinks my results look great & that he's "sorry" I feel that way about myself. Are you kidding? I told him that the lady that did my consultation for me, agreed with me as well, to which he basically called me a liar? I didn't necessarily want a refund, just something that would help me see results. When I asked if he could help me in any kind of way, since I didn't receive what I paid for, he told me to go buy over the counter creams and give it time. If that was the case, why did I spend 4k? I could've just bought the cream in the first place. Then he told me I can buy another treatment, so i would have to spend thousands of dollars anyways. The whole place is a scam. Let's talk about this crappy company. They happily took my $4500 plus and then told me they could not book me at the location I signed up for as it was not open. Then the day before my app they cancelled my app. They then talked to me on the phone and confirmed a date and time. I drove up for the app 90 minutes away to find out they booked me for an appointment on the weekend they knew I was out of town. I then waited another month and confirmed my next app and when I drove there for it, it was not even built yet. So called to complain and NO ONE called me back. It's now be 9 days and ZERO response from a supervisor. I've made several calls since their promised return call and nothing!!! This is a horrible company that is happy to take your money and run! Worst Company ever. Guess it's time to file a complaint with the BBS. Don't trust this crap show of a company for service. This place is constantly exceeding my expectations. I work for a competing med spa and choose to be a paying customer at Laser Away for a multitude of reasons. I started with filler and have since expanded my services with Laser Away Tampa to Xeomin, Laser Hair Removal and just yesterday-Thermage. Not only can I tell you that they have the highest caliber laser I have ever come across (pain free, could take a nap during treatment) but their medical professionals are super friendly and incredibly talented. Special shout out to Alyssa, she is beyond talented! The front desk girls are well versed on all the services and the reason I continue to add more and more each time! Additionally, the clinic manager (Grace) is so professional and kind. She literally greets me by name and with a hug every time I visit. From my years in medical aesthetics, I can tell you that you either have to sacrifice cost for quality or quality for cost. Laser Away being the only exception to that rule. With them you get both and trust me when I say that is very hard to come by. read more

I live in Raleigh, NC and looked online for a location which is Charlotte, NC. I got a follow up call from Zoe Devincenti and she was AMAZING! Helpful and suggesting was an UNDERSTATEMENT! Completely understanding of price range, called her boss to clarify a payment plan for me. She even called me back TWICE, (due to me being at work) when I asked and explained how treatment goes for laser hair removal. I was slightly doubtful, but she SOLD me 100%! This location has been my first experience with laser hair removal. Initially I was super nervous and worried. However, Allie, Marissa and Zoe have been instrumental in relieving those feelings. They all have been nothing but kind and willing to answer all my questions and provide such good customer service.
