There was one time they told me to come in when I made an appointment and they kind of forgot about me taking a few people ahead of me in line until I asked about it. They finally put me in and I was helped. It wasn't the biggest deal, but it definitely added another 30 minutes. I feel like the technicians take a little bit longer than other places. If you don't have someone that you know really well there that can get the work done efficiently. I was fine with it taking a little bit longer since I really didn't know who to ask for every time I booked. I turned off the last time though because I tried to charge my service with a credit card. I had cash ready for the tip. They did not let me charge my service and made me take cash out of their cash machine instead. They told me that their credit card machine was broken, which seemed doubtful. There was no sign by the credit card machine that said it was broken, and I was the last customer of the evening since it took so long. So I had to go to the cash machine and pay an extra fee to take out cash in order to pay them. I was ready to tip with cash but now I had pay an extra fee in order to pay for the service (ATM fee). I did it without complaining, but I just decided that that was enough for me. I'm onto a new nail salon.

I was in West Bend for the weekend and wanted to refresh my nails. I found this salon after a quick…read moregoogle search and they appeared to be highly rated...maybe for country standards, but not this city girl . I called and made an appointment for 1:00PM on a Sunday. Upon my arrival I stated that I had an appointment and a lady working on a customer said I could pick out a color and pointed to a wall of colors in jars(for a dip manicure). Which is obnoxious because the color cures differently on ones' nails. The same lady then tells me there's a wheel of nail colors on a table 3 tables in from the entry. They had very few red colors, as it was 4th of July weekend which was disappointing. I wasn't serviced until 1:18PM. My nail tech hardly spoke to me. The removal of my previous manicure was awful, using the dremel tool aggressively and then soaking my nails in the smallest bowl, squishing them. No towel was placed on the table where I received service so dust and powder flew everywhere. The nail tech didn't cut my nails but rather used the dremel tool to "cut" them -- I've never experienced this before. It was a semi-painful experience that I wanted to be over. They also used a UV gel top coat on my dip manicure which is not proper procedure. My nails are red, but they are uneven and I will not return to this location. There was one other person getting a pedicure while I was there, but a friend in the area said that this salon is busy often and notorious for double booking appointments. Pricing for services is not posted anywhere. I paid $50 which is on par for pricing in Mke.

I am patient with that but gave up after a few attempts to understand. Water leak led to wet floors that were dangerously slippery in their pedi cave. Gel polish was done in record time which was ok but then the 1 hour add on lasted about 20 minutes. $60 in 30 minutes. Poor performance and disappointing since a few say these are good, relaxing pedicures. Unfortunately, I didn't get the same experience. I would go elsewhere.
