I stumbled upon Lash Envy through Groupon and I feel so lucky! I see Houa who has been amazing. She explains all the lash sizes and curl levels and is a joy to spend a few hours with. I did have a few issues with my lashes falling out prematurely but this is where Lash Envy would get bumped to ten stars if I could. The owner, Cee, is so responsive with your correspondence to the salon. She seriously responds in less than ten minutes and gets you in within a day. My lashes were great the three times I've gone so far but Idk if it's my eyes or what but my inner lashes have a hard time staying in!! I think I need the super super glue!! I have complete confidence in this salon and I would not hesitate to give it a try. With so many eyelash salons popping up, you want a professional, clean, salon with a caring owner and Lash Envy is it! I found this place through Groupon. I wanted a fresh set of lashes before I went on vacation. They were able to squeeze me in which I greatly appreciated. I have had lash extensions done many times and only use oil free products to maintain their longevity and I washed them after 24 hours, which is what the tech recommended. They started falling out from day one. They lasted a total of almost five days. The glue was crunchy and just crumbled. I was so sad because I only had a few sparse lashes by the time I went on vacation and no lashes by the second day. I got my lashes done here and at first the looked amazing but they all fell out in the matter of three days and due to a busy life it took me a day or two to call them and ask rather for a refund or for them to try again and they told me no refunds but will do it again then I get there and made me pay full due to the fact I didn't call right away. VERY POOR WORKMANSHIP AND NOT FRIENDLY !!!! DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE! It poor and I am extremely upset with them. I've had lashes many times and know how to take care of them very well, but the products and technique used in this salon are so inferior that the lashes started falling off the day I left - not my lashes, just the extensions. The salon wanted to charge me for another full set after a little more than three weeks. Ridiculous. At better salons, I could easily go four weeks before needing a typical two-week fill. And then, when I canceled my appointment because no one should ever need another full set after 3 weeks, they charged me $25 because I canceled only 20 hours in advance, not 24. Seriously. And according to their online appointment book, they had vacancies all day. They also charged me an extra $10 for my lash application because there was a VERY small amount of mascara residue on my eyes - and I had just washed my makeup off. I was even early for the appointment, so they could have given me a towelette or pointed me to the bathroom if they thought there would be an issue, because my previous salon didn't seem to have a problem with my makeup removal. There is a reason this salon is on Groupon doling out the cheapest eyelashes in the Twin Cities - they don't deliver the same quality that othere salons do and they try to squeeze every dime back out of customers once they are in the door and I imagine only an uneducated handful or their girlfriends go back. If you just want to try out lashes for a few days, this place might be fine. But if you are actually a lash-extention wearer, save your money and go to a real salon. read more

I went there and got a classic full set, the next day more than half of my lashes fell out. I followed the directions: don't get them wet for 24-48 hrs, sleep on your back and brush them with the brush they gave me and yet they still managed to fall out. I would literally blink and one lash would be on my cheeks. To make matters even worse they won't even refund you. They wanted me to go back there to get an evaluation because if more than half are gone you have to pay. I've known the owner, Cee, for a long time. She is wonderful and she tries her best to makes sure her clients are satisfied. She is very professional.Her place is clean and comfortable. So why the low rating? Well I wish I could just rate just the lash tech and not the whole business, but I can't. Cee has a sub contractor there named KAI who is renting there and works for herself. I wish I could personally rate KAI!! This is my second time seeingKAI. When I booked with KAI I didn't realize it was the same person that I had this same problem with the other time too. When you book your appointment you get prices listed by how many weeks after your last appointment. It was three weeks since my last appointment. KAI wants to charge me for a FULL SET, AGAIN, like last time. After driving for 50 from Wisconsin, Once I get there, then KAI tells me I have to pay MORE THAN TWICE AS MUCH!! Two out of two times that I seen KAI. It's ridiculous!! Then they shouldn't list the prices on line!!! They should fill for the price they listed. No way I'm paying that much for a fill, she's insane!!!!! I'm so mad I drove all this way for nothing! I even called the place I got my lashes done to prove to her it's only been three weeks. If they say 3 weeks for this price then that's what it should be. I told her just fill what you can then please, in my allotted time. Nope!! She wouldn't do it!! I think KAI had other things she wanted to do. So I've been at this place before, but I found a better girl down in West Saint Paul but she was ill. I get my lashes every two weeks so I made an appointment for a two-week volume fill. For $65 as said on their website. But I was charged $75 just because I was at a previous place and the work was crap there's holes in my lashes one was coming off before I even left the door. You would think that they would try a little harder to keep my business but obviously not. I do not recommend this place. They obviously don't care about their customers or the way their customers look when they walk out. I wish there was a way to give them zero Stars so unhappy. read more

Don't go here! You will get the run around! They cancelled and needed to reschedule me TWICE. Then they told me I had to pay an extra $10 for product in addition to the Groupon cost??? That's not stated in the Groupon, so that's false advertising. When I finally was able to get my appointment rescheduled AGAIN the technician had the audacity to try and reschedule me a 3rd time so she could leave early. I had enough. I cancelled my appointment all together and they tried to charge me a $25 cancellation fee. Well good luck with that, you don't have my address or CC info. I was nervous to get my lashes here only because of the negative reviews of them not lasting for more than a day. But i had an awesome experience here! This was the first time i got my eyelashes done and it's a week later and i still have ALL OF MINE on. I'm in love!!! The only one negative thing i have to say is the eyelash technician wasn't the best at making a conversation and answering my questions. I'm a people person but everyone is different! The first time I went there I loved it..Mel was very nice. I thought they truly cared about their customers. Second time I went there I had an allergic reaction to the glue. Maybe some got in my eye. I ended up having to go to the emergency room afterwards. Mel removed the eyelashes so I asked for a partial refund(I thought this was a very fair request) she said they dont ever do refunds, even partial ones. So here I am warning people and will continue to ever chance I get: if you want beautiful lashes but it turns out you have an allergic reaction or the glue gets in your eye, do NOT expect them to refund any money. I found out about lash envy through Groupon and decided to finally try extensions. Big mistake! I called the salon prior to purchasing the Groupon to see what their availability was like. I made an appointment and then went online to purchase the Groupon. However when I arrived (after driving 30 MILES ONE WAY- crazy I know but the reviews on Groupon were good) the technician told me I didn't have an appointment and I would have to come back another day. All of this was insane to me because I made sure to schedule an appointment prior to even making a payment for Groupon. They told me that all they could do was make a future appointment for me, but no way would I drive back another 30 miles (that's 60 round trip!!) and arrive there with the possibility the same thing would happen again. Never again. Now here's to hoping Groupon will provide me a refund.... read more

Cee is the BEST. She is friendly, professional, and precise. She has an eye for aesthetics and will give you good recommendations based on the shape of your eyes. The lashes stay on very long too.. mine last about 3 weeks! I fly from Denver all the way to Minnesota just to see Cee because she is the only one I trust with my lash extensions. read more

I've gone here a few times when they started and had great service so I was completely surprised with the poor customer service I've received in the past 6 months that I would say one star is too high of a rating. I've called and used the online services to schedule appointments on numerous occasions (it's difficult to find childcare and they will NOT service you when you're using a groupon on the weekend - which is awful customer service considering I'm still patronizing you by buying the groupon). I finally found a day and time that works and I have child care and got a reminder saying it was coming up at 4pm and got another text about the appointment of which I ignored because I already got the reminder (little did I know, you have to "confirm" the appointment or they cancel it AND charge you ) which is the weirdest business practice. Clearly I got the reminder and know I get charged within the 24 hr period, why would I also have to confirm the appointment too (change this business practice.. it's ridiculous, the charge is enough and judging by your other reviews, it's not working well for you). Anywho, I got a text at 11am saying I no-showed my 4pm appointment, which agin is a head-scratcher. I called and spoke with Cee, who wasn't accommodating and just kept repeating this policy. She said she would speak to the technician to see if she could still fit me in (for my scheduled appointment slot) and would call me back. She also said they would refund the $25 which as of now via text she said she would be unable to refund and couldn't see me at my scheduled time so not only did I lose all the money on my groupon but got charged $25 for an appointment I could have made it to! Don't waste your time with this terrible excuse for a business. There are other companies who do great work AND treat customers fairly as well! read more

Although the location is very clean, and the staff is very friendly, the extensions started falling off the very first day. (For those who may be wondering, I am very particular about keeping my lashes completely dry for the first 48 hours. I don't use any moisturizer or oil-based products on my entire face for the first 3 days and after that, I still avoid any oil based products around my eyes) . Despite taking very good care of the extensions, After 5 days, I would estimate that at least 80% of the extensions are gone. I don't review places that often, but this is ridiculous, especially considering the cost. I did use a groupon which may be the reason I received such an inferior service, but if you can't give quality service at Groupon rates, stop offering Groupons. (I was also charged an extra $10 when the service was complete because I used Groupon????, but I want to stay focused on the larger quality issue) With the tip, (and the miscellaneous 10 charge) I still spent almost $100, for lashes that basically lasted 2 days. Even my husband, who never notices anything , made the remark "Weren't you going to get your lashes done the other day?" I also had a coworker tell me she had the same experience. My advice is this: pay a few extra dollars somewhere else, and get the quality 4week lashes you deserve. I decided to give it a try before a girls weekend and have absolutely fallen in love with having long, thick lashes! I've done it four times now and had pretty good success with keeping them looking full for nearly a month. I have seen both Pa and Pepsi and both are professional and very detail oriented. I got my lashes done by Mel , who was so sweet and good at what she does . It was the first time out of the three lash extension ( at different locations ) I've gotten that my eyes weren't burning from the glue . However , my eyes were watery for some reason during the session . I got them done on Saturday and by Tuesday one of my eyes have just about 50% extension left on them . The one eye that was really watery on Saturday is still in pretty good shape - maybe because we used the the fan on it since it was watery ?? I'm kinda disappointed that these don't stay on as long as the previous times. Yes they told me after I was done that retention time might be different since my eyes were watery but I wasn't expecting them to start falling out the day after . I followed all the directions and have been super careful about getting my eyes wet . Other than that , it was a good experience .. just wish that they'd last longer than a couple days . read more

They rush through the process and don't deliver what they say they will. I was worked on for maybe 15 minutes and my extensions looked the same as when I went in; thin and sparse. During the fill, the technicians phone went off a few times and she walked away to answer it multiple times. Very unprofessional. They also rip out eyelashes constantly. I tried multiple times but honestly this place is no good. I addressed my issue with the management and the customer service was disrespectful and very unhelpful. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME.
