I explained multiple times that I wanted a full lash look and even showed several photos of how my lashes have looked in the past. The picture below was shown to Trinity at least two times before she started, to make it clear what I was expecting. I trusted her professional judgment to help achieve that look, but the end result was nothing like what I asked for--my lashes were sparse, spacey, and uneven. When I expressed my concerns, Trinity became dismissive and unprofessional. Instead of offering to fix the issue, she told me to book with another tech--for an additional cost. I made it clear that money wasn't the issue; I just wanted to leave with lashes that made me feel confident. Instead, I was left feeling embarrassed and upset--I even cried at the front desk from the experience. To make matters worse, I was charged full price for a service that was completely inadequate. I've attached a photo comparing the work done at Amaze to my previous lash tech, and the difference speaks for itself. I came to Amaze because it's close to home and offers a membership program, but after this experience, I seriously question the professionalism, attentiveness, and skill level of the staff. Sadly, I cannot recommend this studio to others.

She was genuinely nervous about what to expect and left after her service was performed, in tears. We chose Rekha based off of reviews and had hoped for a great first experience. The call I received from my daughter was a tearful "I never want to do that again, why did she have to be so rude to me". My daughter asked for lip and brow service, asking before and during the appointment to start with the lip service, easing her into the newness of threading. She said she was completely ignored. She has beautiful, full brows and was nervous about the shape as she was not looking to thin them. She repeatedly asked and tried to communicate with Rekha, prepared to show her a photo of her preference but she was rushed through the visit, feeling ignored and with no "voice". I am sad that this was the experience for my daughter and feel it is important to share her experiences because there are "bad days" and "busy days" but completely ignoring a clients needs or not taking time with a new patient should be brought to the attention of others looking to begin their threading journey. Change can be hard for some adults and if a client suffers from anxiety, a little empathy takes just a few extra minutes, and can be a huge way to show kindness. My daughters personal experience today was a lack of respect, an unwillingness to listen to or see (past) photos of her eyebrow shape preference and a disregard to her newness and obvious anxiety to the threading process.

She claims that the advance payment is nonrefundable in the form of a gift card, but we never signed a contract to that effect nor did she ever send me a copy of the company policy. She either doesn't have the money or wants to keep it, so she made up rules that I never agreed to and stole unearned funds. No one in their right mind would purchase a non-refundable $500 package. I don't suggest you never pay more than your service here. They will not work with you nor will they refund the money, they just keep it. I would never do that to any of my clients. Stephanie is also incredibly unprofessional and over-reactive. There is no way you can reason with her or otherwise conduct business in a professional way. When dealing with a service issue, she simply tells you to stop threatening her and refuses to engage any further. The business has no way of dealing with unhappy customers except for saying, "We're keeping your money, now get lost." After bad mouthing her other techs about their sub-par services, she will reschedule you with them if she's too busy, hungover, or sick. The conversion of money is aside from the ongoing cancellations, rescheduling, and impossibility to get in within 2 weeks' notice for refills. For a professional working customer, that is in no way attractive. I spoke to other lash studios who agreed that they would have refunded the money and avoided further disputes with the customer. They also have many more techs and available spots for customers weekly. I referred clients to Stephanie and I am appalled by her unprofessionality, her drama, and her demeanor. It's all great until there's a dispute. She offered to convert the unearned $350 to other services at the studio, which is impossible given she's made the relationship hostile and uncomfortable. Very personable, sweet, welcoming. I knew I was in good hands. I usually go for open eye hybrids with a shorter length more 'natural'. Laura did an amazing job. I've been going back ever since.
