I found this great little place on Groupon. I can't believe I never knew this spa was here. I purchased dermaplaning and facial. The studio is cute and clean. They had hand sanitizer and aesthetician wore a mask. My experience was wonderful and my face feels great. I spoke to her about eyelash extensions for my daughter and called for an appointment for her today. It does take a few calls to get an appointment, all considering right now, I don't mind. I scheduled two days in advance for a lash lift and tint and so happy I tried a new place! My lashes are pin straight sloped down, giving me "sleepy" like look and i don't like putting make up on, so this option is perfect for me. Adam did an excellent job making me feel comfortable and explaining the process to me. Highly recommend him for you lash needs, he is meticulous and results are fantastic, you won't be disappointed. After getting a facial this morning from my girl Leslie at Essentials, I expressed how much I need my eyebrows done. I explained that I use to get them threaded in CA and she mentioned there were a few places in South Tampa I could try. With her recommendation and my yelp research, I decided to go with Lash Spa. I always make appointments for anything dealing with hair, face, nails, etc. but seeing that Lash Spa was only 3-5 minutes from my house, I just decided to stop by and walk in on my way from Essentials. Walked in...no problem. Aida took such great care of me! She not only threaded my eyebrows but informed me of the option to tint my eyebrows. She says it will last 2 weeks. I had never had this done before so I went for it. I wish I had a before and after (but I have the after) because my eyebrows were a HOT mess. As you can see from the photo, they look great now. Excuse my no make up and slight bags under my eyes as I'm not getting much sleep during my last trimester. I'm happy that I have a new threading spot that's close to home. I will for sure be back. Aida also informed me she does eyelash extensions and considering how short and curly mine are, I think I will give it a try. Friendly enough staff - especially when I was running behind, and they were able to fit me in at the very end, even though the girl had to stay a bit late to get me in. Eyebrow Threading ($18) - thorough! A plus for this service. Lash curl & tint ($85) - the curl doesn't last as long as I was quoted but the tint lasted for awhile. C for this service. I really recommend this salon. It is clean, classy and unpretentious and the staff is professional and excellent. I have been getting my lashes done by Abby, who always customized them to my liking, is super cool and friendly, and always positive. She is fast, efficient and uses a gentle glue that lasts and doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes. I have been to other places in the area that over layered my lashes and overtaped me during the treatment, overcharged me, used harsh glue and claimed it was for the "humidity" so if you're dealing with any of those things you can stop putting up with it now and just come to this lash studio. The studio owner is super cool and does a wonderful facial among other services. She also has a great podcast that delves into beauty and showcases local business owners. This studio really has it going on! I love getting treatments here and am so glad I found them. read more

I came to lash spa studio after seeing all of the great reviews, but after 3 or 4 appointments that didn't go well, I decided to try Lash Savy which has been amazing. The lash artists spoke about other clients and artists poorly while I was getting my lashes done, my appointments never lasted for the full allotted time that I had paid for, and never lasted. I simply never had a nice experience when coming here. As I said, I went to Lash Savy, and immediately the environment was professional, they took the full time that I had booked/paid for, and my lashes lasted an incredibly longer time--so I highly recommend Lash Savy over Lash Spa Studio! read more

My first time in the location was on 2/12. I was thrilled to see how clean, bright, and inviting it was. As a seasoned, daily lash wearer, I was super excited to start a new artist-especially since I got such great vibes walking in. My lash artist was Tallia. She was efficient, friendly, and easy to talk to. I got an initial volume set and I was initially mostly happy with my results. (they were not as full as my previous artist, but I liked them.) However, by the very next day, half of my right eye was missing. Some might expect this kind of loss with an inexperienced lash wearer, but in the 2+ years I've had my lashes done, they NEVER looked like this. I shared my dissatisfaction over a week later because I was traveling out of state for work. When I called no one was able to answer, so I left a message. I was not rude and I did not yell, I simply explained why I was very upset. However, no one reached out; my artist was the owner. That seems peculiar. Based on the handling of my complaint and the poor product I received, it appears that they do not want or need my business. We could've had a great relationship as I get my volume lashes filled every 3 weeks. I will go elsewhere. Finally! Great eyebrow threading in South Tampa! Everyone here is trained in threading, which means that if someone leaves, you don't have to completely change salons. I've had good experiences with two different people so far. It's more of a spa-like threading experience than what you'd find in a mall; the prices are higher but decent and worth it. I have never written a bad review but I feel that it is necessary for this studio. We have had several lash lifts and know what they should look like...after spending an hour and $100 for a lift and a tint - all my daughter got was basically a tint. There was no lift whatsoever. And, the technician got the tint in her eye which was irritating. She did ask if I wanted her to flush it with water...We left stunned. I can't even believe I paid for the service. I called when we got home and spoke to the owner who offered to redo it herself or refund the money. I didn't want to go back or spend another hour there.
