Today I'm here on referral from a friend who has done a lift and tint with Reta. I usually get lash extensions but it's almost as if my eyes rejected them. I couldn't keep them on. I wasn't rubbing or anything but they almost ALL fell out within a week of me having my last fill. I have loudly complained to all of my friends and remembered my friend having BOOM lashes all of a sudden who said they weren't extensions. SO she said she'd had a lift and tint. Essentially a "perm" to curl the lashes and tint to give your natural lashes that vavavoom!!! I'm SO very excited to say the least. SO excited. The waiting area is clean, extremely comfortable and QUIET. So far I'm loving the atmosphere. Fingers crossed for some BAM for my lashes!!! I have to admit I'm a big fan of the lash lift and tint!!! I have decent natural lashes. Mascara helps boost them but I'm used to being low maintenance with extensions. So I was looking for low maintenance again. My extensions ALL fell out, I believe due to allergies, and the technician who did them (NOT RETA,) offered to redo them but I was having SUCH bad eye allergies that I had hives and my eyes were swelling so I just opted to take a break during allergy season. If you have found Reta consider yourself lucky. It took me 4 years living in Portland to find her! The unique thing about Reta is she knows all about... the science of eyelashes. Yes... there is such a thing. She cares about the lashes she is adding extensions to, and you can tell. She is passionate about her craft and the proof is in the gentleness and effectiveness of her application. She also has all kinds of colors and styles. Her space is clean and over the years I've been going to her I just have grown more and more grateful for her skill and company. I came in with "volume" lashes from another artist who charged three times as much and to be real honest with you it was no where close to the real definition of what a "volume" lashes was when Reta finished her wonderful work. Ive had my lashes done by Reta twice now. The first appointment was for a quick fix because I wasn't happy with previous lash person. Reta was able to fix the giant hole in my lash line that was caused from natural lashes breaking. The previous person did not know how to do volume and overloaded my natural lashes which caused the breaking. Reta was able to squeeze me in and do a quick fix with proper volume fans. Ive just had my 2nd appt with her and my lashes look AMAZING! If you are looking for a lashes she's your girl. Plus She is super fun to chat with while your laying there for an hour!
