I asked if there was an earlier spot and she said yes at 10:00AM with her. I told I would take it. I wasn't too picky who did my brows as long as it got done. When I arrived yesterday, my appointment was on time and Gretchen was amazing. Gretchen asked if there was anything in particular that I needed done other than the brow clean up and my response was no. I only pointed out that it's a medium shape for stencil purposes and she agreed. She was friendly, outgoing and a perfectionist like me. I walked out with lovely brows. I look forward to my next visit with her. This has been my #1 place for eyebrow services. I get points on my Nordstrom's card and it's close to where I live. It's a win-win situation for both sides. I had the most terrible experience. I thought I was in good hands and liked the stylist as a…read moreperson. I decided to get extensions because of hair loss and it was not cheap! I had 11 extensions fall out within the course of 4 weeks. I was devastated and tried to get in touch with the stylist who was on leave. The salon would not help me and said they did not feel comfortable fixing my situation because of my scalp. I had red bumps at almost every single extension. I called around to other salons and luckily came across Tres Chic in Lake Oswego. The gal looked at my hair and basically said it was done all wrong. Too much hair was attached to thin hair and they were way too heavy. She also said the color match wasn't a good match(at the time of install I did think the color looked ok), my extensions were not done in rows and the lack of concern for my situation was lacking. Basically, I was told that I was having a bad reaction. Since getting extensions installed the right way, I have had 1 fall out. ZERO red bumps. I was basically made to feel like I went against the stylists recommendation of having them removed. I went in for a check in appointment and the stylist said it wasn't as bad as she thought so we left them in. I did not go against her recommendation. The woman that helped me at Tres Chic has been doing extensions for over 20 years and she said I was completely justified by being upset. The salon ended up blocking my phone number, which was pretty wild. I do want to acknowledge the owner Luke. He was the only light in that experience. He heard my concerns and I think over time was able to see that I was not in the wrong. He did his best to make it right but I have yet to get an apology from my stylist. I would never handle my business the way the stylist is. Luke refunded my money. I appreciate Luke and still think Anastasia is a good salon, but one bad stylist can muddy their reputation.
