The pedicure was awesome, but unfortunately my Builder Gel fill was a completely different…read moreexperience. The appointment took three hours, and most of that time was spent on the fill. The older technician appeared very distracted, repeatedly yawning throughout the service and taking a long time to even begin working on my nails. While drilling the old product off, she completely missed two nails, which I had to point out after she had already started applying polish. The nail tech station I was assigned to was also messy and not very clean, which was disappointing. Aside from that, the rest of the salon was pleasant and appeared well maintained. The polish application was sloppy, and instead of properly correcting mistakes, she repeatedly tried to clean them up with her fingernail, which only smeared the polish further. I requested chrome nails, but the chrome application was extremely messy and uneven. Again, I had to ask her to clean up the excess product around my nails. What concerned me most was that while filing after the top coat, she was actually filing my knuckles instead of just my nails. She seemed very disoriented throughout the appointment, which made the experience frustrating and uncomfortable. I am extremely unsatisfied with the quality of the Builder Gel fill and do not feel the service met professional standards.
