I've been coming here on and off for years for eyebrow waxes, eyelash extensions and lifts. I think they are pricey so I'm always hesitant to book with them but this last visit was the most disappointing. My first lift was great - the lady spent over an hour with me and I had amazing curl for several weeks after. This one I was only there 30 minutes from start to finish and I don't think the lady let the solution sit long enough. I had curl for about 5 min and noticed when I got home that it had already gone down. Def not worth the $95 + tip on top of it. I got a lash lift with Alyssa at Lashes de Bella and Love it! I have thin straight lashes and now they're curled up and look longer. They look Beautiful with or with out mascara. Excellent communication confirming appointments through text/emails. Super responsive to emails and questions. Sign up with emails for specials/deals! Signature facial with Microdermabrasion/Michelle - absolutely deliciously relaxing! Took a nap during the last 15 minutes! Lash extensions/Brie - I signed up to be a model and have continued classic lash extensions since. Chemical peel/Kat - this skin treatment has been something I have considered for a while (reduce freckles/sun damage) but never pulled the trigger. I got an eyebrow lamination Monday and would not recommend going here, ever. I had full, thick, long eyebrows and now they are uneven, curly, thin, and have terrible arches. I am so disappointed!! One eyebrow is obviously higher than the other, they are not the same length and the "arches" are uneven and patchy. My eyebrows look so bad my boyfriend offered to pay for me to go somewhere else to get them fixed. I have been to several different places to get lashes. I seem to have a difficult time keeping them on despite my home-care efforts. When I started coming to Lashes de Bella, I initially had the same problem. The difference between Lashes de Bella and other lash studios is that they made the effort to help me keep my lashes on longer. They made several recommendations, tried different lengths, different curl shape, and so forth. This is what puts them on above their competition (besides the quality of lashes, product, equipment). I want to start off by saying I have been searching for a spray tan location in Austin for a couple months now. I recommend 360tan. I saw the deal on Groupon and tried it out. At first I loved the non orange color of the Carmel solution they used and signed up for a membership. I had an event on Saturday and got sprayed on Thursday. I showered an hour after and came in Friday for touch ups. My tan on Saturday is completely spotted. I'm so embarrassed by it that I'm keeping my body completely covered and in this Austin heat is really terrible. The worst part is I have hand woven real hair extensions and the bottom part of my hair is completely orange. I followed the directions for post care to a T. Not only is my body completely spotted but now my hair(which I go out of my way to take care of) is completely ruined. read more

I don't post reviews often, but these gals deserve it. I've been coming to Lashes de Bella for about 3 or 4 months now. I tried them out after I was getting frustrated with my previous salon, since my lashes weren't lasting very long at all (after caring for them the way that I was supposed to). I was nervous to try somewhere new, but I thought it was worth a shot. Brenna is fantastic. She is so efficient, and ever since the first time I went to her, she knows exactly the look I am going for. Not to mention she is so cheerful and fun. Honestly the whole experience there is great; from the front desk/hospitality, to appointment availability, to cleanliness of the salon, to the value of the service. Needless to say, my lashes have lasted SO much longer than the place I used to go. Lashes de Bella is absolutely worth it...and go to Brenna, she will NOT let you down! read more

I love love this place. i'm embarrassed I didn't write a review earlier. I have been coming here for over two years.. I've had lashes to facials to everything in between there. They are hands-down, the best all-around skilled and professional aestheticians I've ever come across. Naomi and Alaura are fabulous. Additionally, they have package deals for practically every service they offer. And for the quality, they are so less expensive than any other place. And I know! I've done the math and compared them to other places in central and south Austin. Michelle, the owner, seems to always have crazy discounts on SkinCeuticals and other really high end skin care products. I can't agree with any reviews that aren't five stars, that's just not my experience. You should do your self a favor and book something . God knows we need pampering right now. read more

I am giving two stars because the first time I got a lash lift and tint here I was happy, and the girl who helped me after the most recent visit was very helpful. Both times I have been in I haven't seen a single other customer there, yet their services are higher prices than places booked weeks out. I got a text the morning of my appointment asking if I wanted to take an earlier appointment, when I clearly saw all their availability (there was a lot) when making my appointment and still picked the evening. As soon as I walked in, I could tell Alyssa was in a rush. The girl spent 30 minutes and when she showed them to me, they looked like straight garbage. No shame showing someone how bad your work clearly is. Then she rushed out the door, walking right by me, clearly seeing I was not at all happy with her "work". Didn't ask if she could help fix it, nothing. If you do choose to grossly overpay DON'T BOOK WITH ALYSSA!! The girl at the desk tried to help me out, but you can't really do another perm session. It looked better right after, but by the next day my eyelashes got so dried out they didn't have any kind of lift left. read more

I have NEVER had a Brazilian Wax before this, and I must say it was an AMAZING experience.I found a Groupon and was able to book an appointment the next day. Set up was super cute and the place smelled great. My aesthetician was Jacqueline (not Jackie) and she was absolutely phenomenal. She was very tentative to me, and made sure to ask how I felt during the entire session. She kept me distracted from the pain with light hearted conversations. I felt extremely comfortable with her which is hard for me because I don't show my undercarriage to just ANYONE! Whole session took about 30 minutes. Needless to say, I didn't take or care to take the time to look over my statements to see when I started my first visit. The only reason that I'm even taking the time now to continue with this review and retort is because I think it is IMPERATIVE that new, as well as old customers realize the mentality of the Owner, yes you, Michelle F. You're insulting, rude and an outright LIAR. There's no other word for it. FACTUAL. But we all have freedom of choice. It's just nice to know now how someone is treated, when they offer any constructive criticism. You SHOULD have offered a contact request before stating lies about someone you didn't even know. That's the hilarity of it all. Now you actually expect me to contact the salon? WOW. You have some balls. I've already moved on..it really doesn't matter what your salon has done and the 3 years or so, it has been open. Clearly, you are needing new business because you continue to offer deals and Groupons. Plus shame on your for insulting anyone using a Groupon. Really? My review is only a reflection of my Brazilian wax experience, so I won't speak to their other services. I usually go to salons that specialize in waxing, so I was used to going in scared and being pleasantly surprised. For this occasion I bought a Groupon on a whim, so I feel like I got what I deserved. There was one employee working alone, and she was running late with her previous appointment, but she was apologetic and said we could get started in 10-15 minutes. The girl she was helping seemed especially chatty and kept wanting to buy things, so the appointment ended up starting about 45 minutes after my set time. The aesthetician was pretty polite, so I don't want to mention her specifically, but it was the most painful wax I've ever had. Usually those skilled hands whisk away hair before you even have the time to jump, but for this, there were several hard tugs before a "rip" that felt more like flesh removal, so I had a really hard time holding it together instead of asking to stop. Because I assume there were a lot of torn hairs, she reapplied very hot, stringy wax to the same areas of raw skin more than twice, which was extremely painful. I finally admitted it was burning so we could be done with it, and did a bit more tweezing at home the next day after puffiness had subsided. By the time inflammation and redness died down, I already had stubble from patches of broken hairs. I think she tried to do a good job, but she admitted at one point that "nobody" goes to school wanting to do a service like that. Except maybe the people at places like European Wax Center, hopefully? Either way, I'm swearing off of waxes for a long time. If you're still brave enough, I believe my best Brazilian experience was at Alite Laser. Great wax, very skilled staff, very little pain, smoothest finish, professional advice given after service. read more

This update is long overdue. I was actually contacted by the owner after my experience. She offered to redo my lashes and did a much better job in applying. I would recommend upgrading to mink lashes. They feel much more natural and not as stiff. *I didn't get mink lashes at this boutique.* I had regular synthetic lashes (faux mink) applied. I often go so long without wearing make up that I kinda forget how to put it on, so the idea of me being the sort of person to get fake eyelashes is a bit counter-intuitive. On the surface. See, it is actually pretty pragmatic once you break it down. Here's why - I only ever learned the girlie talents of applying eyeliner, french braiding and mastering the fine art of the 80's hair poof and elaborate up-do's because I had an older sister who pulled me out of swamps and trees and forced me to learn . Point being: I'd rather be climbing a tree than applying make-up. I don't like having to think about eyelashes / makeup blah blah blah. I also live a last-minute kinda life where I often need to toss on some shoes and run out the door. But.. yes, I'm weird in that I'm actually a natural blonde. For those who don't know the significance of that... it means your eyelashes are blonde too. As in transparent. As in it looks like you don't have any. Or that you just had a grill accident and your eyelashes got burned off and something a bit strange is going on with your face. When I saw a groupon for this eyelash thingamabob and thought... hmmm.... if this works I won't have to: a) Buy Mascara (expensive to get stuff that isn't irritating to my eyes) b) Apply Mascara (which is not how I like spending my time) c) Wear Mascara (which invariably gets smudged and prevents spontaneously jumping into creeks, rivers and pools) d) Remove Mascara (which... who likes doing that at the end of the day ? I don't.) So, I read reviews of different folks and picked Mary. I've been going to her for a while now and she's great. Wouldn't change a thing. Excellent at what she does ? Yup Professional ? Yup Easy to chat with ? Yup Relaxing enough that I could doze off if I wanted ? Yup Listens to what you want ? Yup By listens to what you want I mean this: I told Mary that I feel the same way about eyelashes as I do about engagement rings. I don't want a ring to walk in the room before me. You know, those Dallas-type, five inch diamonds that are so big they prevent you from climbing trees? The type of ring that says, ' My ring is bigger than my personality and really just a way for my husband to weigh me down.' Ya, that. That, is what I decidedly do NOT want in eyelashes either. I decidedly did NOT want my eyelashes to walk in before me. I didn't want them to be noticed much at all. I asked Mary if it was possible to do eyelashes so it would just look like I had mascara on instead of making people wonder if I was capable of flying if I batted my eyelashes fast enough. Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking the Lady Gaga, Katy Perry thing if that is what you go for. I just don't have the Lady Gaga attitude required to pull that look off. And so, Mary listened, understood and totally delivered. Just had dinner with a friend I hadn't seen for a while and she commented, " You should wear mascara more often, it makes your eyes look so nice." Totally passed the subtle test. I almost don't want to give this place 5 stars because I don't want too many people taking up my appointment times, but I have to get them props. They've been doing my lashes for 6 months now, and they do it perfectly every time. There are two locations, and one of them is a little hard to find as it is in the back of a little boutique in West lake, but it's still cozy and just as easy to get to as S. 1st. They are professional, quick, and reasonably priced. In fact, this is the best deal I can find in Austin. Also, the actual lashes that they use are of a higher quality than at other places I've been to. The best lash tech in my opinion is Stefani; She's very fast, she is a total perfectionist as my lashes are always perfectly straight and not tangled, and she is a total sweetheart. Plus she has cool music. Michelle is also great at doing lashes, and she is the owner. She generously donated a full set of lashes to the silent auction for a non-profit I am involved in, and I will continue to be a loyal client! Thanks Michelle! read more

Krystal did an amazing job, taking the time to make sure that my lashes looked perfect for my wedding. The whole process was comfortable and professional. But not this glue!! I was a little skeptical when she first told me that I didn't have to worry about oil based things. But then, I could really tell a difference in the glue!!! AND, the biggest thing I liked about Lashes del Bella....the eyelashes do NOT poke your eyes as time goes on!!!!!!! This was my first time visiting. To start off on a positive note, I had a good experience at the salon itself. It was cute and clean, and everyone I interacted with was nice. I was early to my appointment and they were even able to squeeze me in for the short touch up teeth whitening, which I really appreciated. I was checked on a couple times during the whitening to make sure I was ok. They definitely did a great job there. Also, they're going to start carrying SkinCeuticals soon, and I LOVE those products. So, if you end up going to this salon, check out the SkinCeuticals. It's worth the price $$$. However, the quality of my lashes has turned out to be sub-par and unfortunately is at the bottom of my list of all the places I've had my lashes done. I went with the "foxy" option. The quantity was solid, but I wish I would've gone a touch longer. But that's probably my fault because I couldn't remember the length of the lashes I've had in the past (but, it was my first time at this salon so I wasn't in the system). Anyways, it's been less than a week and a half, and I would estimate I've only got about twenty lashes, max, left on each eye. I haven't done anything differently than I have when I've had my lashes done in the past. If anything, I've been more careful this time than in the past as I needed them to last a little longer. No extra eye makeup, no rubbing my eyes, etc. I've never had lashes fall off this fast! I think I read somewhere that if you have an issue in the first three days, you can go back in for a touch up, but I didn't notice how many were coming out this fast until a few days later after that. In addition, when I received my emailed receipt, the cost of the teeth whitening was $10 more than what was listed as their online price. Kind of a bummer there, as their "touch up" price is not much different than what I've paid for a 30 minute session at my usual teeth whitening place. I've used them for facials (I've tried basically all options that are appropriate for my skin), lashes, waxing, spray tan, lash lift/tint, and I buy most of my at-home skincare here too. I'll spell it out: 1. I have never had a bad experience and I've gone here forever. Years. 2. They have great memberships and specials. Definitely follow them on IG. Their prices are always reasonable but their deals are fantastic. 3. They use really high quality products. I buy the products here that my Westlake Dermatology dermatologist recommends, but their specials are so much better. 4. People routinely think I am 8-10 years younger than I am. Credit that however you want 5. I've used multiple aestheticians here and I like them all. It seems like a good culture. They have all listened to me and given thoughtful recommendations. As someone with both eczema and psoriasis, that's really important to me. 6. If you've never tried lashes or a lash tint, it's amazing. Especially if you have lighter lashes. While there are definitely options for that WOW false lash look, there are definitely natural looking options too. If you are as lazy as I am about makeup you'll love it.
