We came in as a walk in on Sunday around lunch time. My son desperately needed his crazy teen eyebrows groomed. There was 0 wait. Easy to park. Located in a strip mall on Austin's east side. We were greeted by nice staff. Clen orderly stations. You sign in on an ipad, indicate the services you need and then select the person you'd like or 1st available. Mens threading.. 15.00. Cash or card. Very reasonable. We got Rita. She was very friendly, was very patient with this being my sons first time getting threaded. -she asked how he wanted it shaped. They have pix on the walls if you are not sure -we wanted not too perfect and more on the full side -my son is a huge baby -he squealed when they started working on his lower brow.. it was hilarious. I wish I recorded it. -Rita did take more than enough breaks to give him a chance to gather himself Now ladies those of us who have gotten burned by hot wax or the strip was pulled too far fm our skin breaking our skin is not a pleasant experience. I much prefer threading any day!! Beauty comes with a price. We for sure will come back here and ask for Rita. They are great at stopping and asking if you like the shape, do you want to take more off etc. We tipped 20% so it was 20.00 even. Maybe took 10-15min. Super job Oasis Eyebrow! read more

I used to really enjoy coming here for my eyebrow threading but unfortunately it seems they have some staff that could benefit from training. After getting my brows threaded today I noticed they were uneven, not even in a nitpicky way, but anybody looking closely (and I would think the professional performing the service) would notice. I returned to have it fixed and the second person threaded a couple of hairs but basically told me I was out of luck and just had to wait for it to grow back! I won't be coming back, it's not worth the dice roll of who you may end up with. read more

Everyone is nice and friendly. Usually come here for threading so decided to try the facial. I did the basic facial - overall it was as expected and relaxing using products that were pretty basic. A few points for improvement - - Whoever does facials should have their nails trimmed short. I got scratched on the face a couple of times :/ - Usually facials include a face massage technique - it wasn't up to par with other salons. No neck massage was done. - The room was eerily silent and we could often hear others laughing or talking in the main area. For a more relaxing atmosphere, playing music or ocean sounds can give a more spa-like feeling. I had a good experience though and liked the face steam and hot towel. Will recommend this service to friends. read more

Came to do my eyebrows and the lady in the entrance door. Since the beginning was ok with her attitude, which I didn't pay attention. It was my turn to do my eyebrows and told her how I wanted my eyebrows to be done. N she gave me this look like "um ok " N E WAYs I was hmm ok 2 things no bueno. But after she was done. I told her thank you n her attitude was not cute. N after charging me I still did gave her a tip n her attitude was not quite good still. So maybe she was just over it or having a bad day. Not sure! Staff have to leave issues at home and come to work with a positive attitude. It's a place where people come to get a service done it's not free. read more

Came here recently and since Cristy was not in I went with another lady. She was seriously bad, I have been to a lot of eyebrow ladies and can tell when they know what they are doing. She went painfully slow and despite her speed still messed up my eyebrows. I told her to only clean up my eyebrows and she took a huge chunk of hair from my right eyebrow in the front and it looks super patchy. She argued with me when I tried to point out the gap in hair. Pam is truly the only person I will ever trust with my eyebrows. She is so talented and I cannot recommend her enough. Her attention to detail and personalized eyebrow threading to your face shape is hard to come across. If she couldn't be even better, she is a ray of sunshine and leaves you smiling! Probably should train your employees not to laugh/make fun of the customers while they are checking out at the register. I specifically ask for a couple of the ladies to do my service since every time I've tried a new person, I've left with nicked skin because the pressure they are applying for threading is way to much. If I would tell the person, sometimes they talk back instead of listening. Everyone has different skin types so employees need to listen if the customer is saying it hurts and to apply less pressure so the skin isn't nicked. What's the point of the iPad where we select who we want if when it's your turn, they ask if we want to wait for the person we selected or have someone else do it. I chose the person for a reason. Yes, no one can touch my eyebrows Sara since I've found a better place and the only reason I came for my service today is due to it being cheap and close by. I've gone for waxing service too. I hate writing this review but I do think it's important that feedback is taken seriously and this doesn't happen to someone else who likes their natural shape of their brows. I've been coming here for over 6 months now. I always love how my eyebrows are done, always consistent. I always just get a "clean up." Each time they ask me if I want a clean up, and I say yes. This time, I went in and had never had this lady before. I told her I just wanted a clean up. She said ok. Long story short - she completely reshaped my brows and made them thinner. She even made some mistakes on my right brow, so when you look closely, the line isn't straight and it has indents. Half way through doing my brows (which was taking twice as long as it usually does), she makes a comment (that felt like she should have asked me before she started threading), that she noticed I like my brows thick and wide. I said YES. She then made a comment saying that she was trying to make them even, which was yet another indicator that she had made a mistake and was trying to correct it. You also can't tell from the photo because it's too detailed, but my right brow isn't even even in the middle. It's like she made a mistake and then kept taking more hair away to try to make up for her mistake. I had been growing my brows out for TWO years and am just beyond frustrated now and will not return to Oasis, which is a shame. Our natural brow shape suits and compliments our particular face for a REASON. If I had wanted her opinion on my brow shape, I would have asked. Advice for anyone going to Oasis: Be VERY CLEAR with your communications and request for your brows and maybe stop half way through and ask to see the progress so you can give feedback before it's too late. Advice for Oasis: Don't let new women thread customer's brows until they have actually proven they can do the job correctly and understand client's expectations. read more
