Total surprise, total delight! A few feet off I-80 and serves really good coffee and espresso drinks.

Stopped in this town to visit a local historical marker and wanted to support the local coffee shop. Definitely busy when we came so we went in kind of glad because we would've judge the book by the cover if if not. Cool little building with cool little knickknacks and crafts and gifts some of them look like local artist but just some unique different kind of things. A table to sit and have your coffee or play a game watch TV. The coffee menu was a little different and unique some of the same standard stuff the mocha salted caramel latte etc. some bakery goods pastries I like this little place. No restroom pretty good coffee well I should say pretty good salted caramel latte not really coffee that I had was still pretty good. I think they had some different very unique gifts coffee mugs a little bit overpriced but look like heavy duty good quality stuff. And thanks to yelp we found this place

Can you give a 0 star review? Driving across the state, in desperate need of coffee after an early morning start. I stopped in this little shop to support the local economy. A trio of people walked at the same time I did. The counter clerk greeted and started visiting with them, never once acknowledging that I was even in the shop. The drive-thru clerk had somebody at the window with nine orders. After standing at the order counter for about five minutes, the drive-thru clerk said eventually the other clerk would get to me. She never did. Eventually, I gave up, turned around and left with no coffee. The counter clerk never said a word to me. Still tired and now very disappointed. So much for small town customer service. read more

Great stop for coffee when driving I-80. Super friendly. Drive through or drink in. Nice gift shop inside. No restrooms. Need to go to the gas station across the parking lot. Definitely with the stop! read more

Stopped here for breakfast on our road trip. Cute little western looking building next to the sod house museum. Had a bacon egg and cheese on a biscuit and it was delicious. Not greasy at all and pretty big! The mexican mocha is delicious, I haven't experienced a coffee like it. Beautiful and friendly staff! read more

Be prepared to pay a card fee if you use a credit or debit card to pay for your order. My small mocha was $4.90 for a 12 ounce cup which is fine because I knew the price and the amount when I ordered my coffee. A card fee in addition to the prices is ridiculous. My drink came to $5.84. I refuse to pay a business to take my money. I will not be back. read more

Absolutely the cutest mom & pop coffee shop we've found. Frozen mocha was good and the cross isn't breakfast sandwiches were good. The owners really maximized the space to appeal to everyone.... from the products available for sale to the family sized tables to gathering 'round with other guests. 5 read more

If you like coffee, do not go here! I ordered a an espresso drink and counted the draw time at less than 4 seconds. Seriously, how can anyone think an espresso draw that fast makes sense? Truly amazingly poor. read more

Perfect spot to pick up a coffee and quick pre-made sando. Got an ice coffee and breakfast sandwich. Both were better than Starbucks and McD's. You might have to wait a sec if there's a line but the shop will keep you entertained or the Sow Barn across from it. read more

After you have seen the Pony Express Station and the Sod House, this is a great place to stop and get fortified with coffee and snacks before getting back on the long dreary road that is I -80 Nebraska. read more

Wouldn't guess it by looking at the outside but it's a very nice boutique shop inside and has an impressive selection of drinks considering it's in the middle of nowhere. Great for gifts and just to check out while filling up on gas. read more

Very cute coffee and gift shop. They offer a wide variety of beverages and homemade snacks including scones, muffins, breakfast sandwiches and more. The local offerings of jams and honeys was also very good. The interior of this shop is warm and inviting and if you are in the area you should certainly stop by. read more

After driving from NJ, stopping at Starbucks and Dunkin, Lasso Espresso was a welcome change and we were not disappointed. Extremely friendly staff, good coffee (good selections), and very tasty home baked goods. The chocolate raspberry scone was fab! And they have a drive-thru. They are very close to the highway While there visit the sod museum. Very interesting and unusual. read more

One of the cutest coffee shops I've been into. Boyfriend got a mocha, and was happy that it wasn't overly sweet. I got a latte, which was a little thin, but tasty none the less. I would definitely return. Great seevice read more

I was very pleased to find a coffee shop in this part of the world, and particularly one that was open on Memorial Day! I have to say, though, my latte was mediocre at best, and the free wi-fi was just terrible . . . so slow that I gave up and just turned it off. Also, no public restroom. The barista was very nice, though, and the gift shop had a lot of super-cute items to look at. read more

We were vacationing (from down south) at a cabin on a nearby lake, when we decided to go into town for a coffee. All 5 of us went in excitedly thinking we were going to get our caffeine on. We walked in to a gift shop area (not really my taste) but nice nonetheless. The ordering counter was a step up and in the back. No one greeted us, said they'd be right with us, NOTHING!! If I walk in an establishment eager to spend money and nobody even greets me--I'm already skeptical. There was ONE lady in front of us and NO ONE in the Drive-thru. It looked as though the girl behind the counter was working on one single drink. We stood there for nearly 10 minutes. Finally we all looked at each other and said "let's go". Still as we all walked out no one said anything. We would have spent some $$ too. Unfortunately, we had to settle for a Mc Donald's coffee next door. I would have supported local business if I could have, but I guess they didn't need our business. That experience kind of just confirmed my preconceived (and warranted) notions of small town idiocy. read more
