My friends chose this place and I told them before we got there that this was not my vibe. There are much better options in the city now and this one pales in comparison, and has not been updated for years (and it shows). I should've listened to my first mind. Very low quality spot that charges way too much ($18) for a basic frozen Margarita. I asked for all the flavors mixed, and instead of mixing the different frozen drinks, they just added syrup and charged extra money. In a small plastic cup. Very hood. A real restaurant wouldve at least given me a pretty glass. There's no presentation, no ambiance whatsoever. Sound system was bad. Kept cutting off after 2-3 songs. I ordered lemon pepper wet wings and my server gave me the wrong order. When I expressed the order wasn't correct, she said, "Yeah it's right! You want more sauce?" Then my friend said, "No, that's my order." And the server said, "oh yeah, y'all switch ". I also had to keep sending someone to find our server because she kept disappearing. I went to the bar because my server had disappeared and the bartender shooed me away, saying that I have a server and to order from my server. She could've said, "Let me get the server for you," but no... I was made to wait. After all that, they wanted to charge automatic gratuity! As if! No sir. No maam. The manager took off the gratuity for me, but coming here confirmed that this place is not it. The place was empty for a Sat evening and now I see why. I still made the best of it and even bought my server a drink after that because I don't let anybody ruin my good time. I just hope somebody sees this and chooses a place that has nicer people and a real upscale presence if you want to spend $100 on drinks and wings. read more

I am not a big bar person, hard to believe when you look at my picture, but this is one of the two in the Jackson area I frequent. Laid back crowd, good finger food, good drink specials. I went to the old location off I-55 and Frontage Road a lot, just been to the new location once. Even though I am not a smoker, the smoke didn't really bother me. I come every couple months for Girl's Night and this is one of the spots that I can stay late and still feel safe. The DJ is usually pretty good, but the bartender and chef are the real MVPs!!! I love their drinks and food! The owner is usually there and very nice! read more

He was clearing out the outside patio and said "DAMN YOU HAVE SOME BIG ASS TITTIES" after I said I WAs offended he continued to harass me. Though I never visited the previous Last Call location, I understand it is a popular Jackson sports bar. The new location has a rather small bar but a lot of dining room style seating. They are apparently newly open for lunch. We went there today for lunch and had the special, which was Chicken Enchiladas with white sauce served with your choice of salad or fries. I have to say both the enchiladas and fries were delicious, though it took a very long time to even get the salads out to the table. On another visit, we had the crawfish dip appetizer and liked it equally. The biggest downfall for this place for me is that smoking is allowed in the bar area, and there is no appreciable boundary between the bar and the dining area. Consequently, the entire space reeks of smoke regardless if anyone is actively smoking or not. NOTE: I probably would have rated this a 4 if it weren't for the offensive smoke odor. read more
