In the message I stated that the fence included a single gate that needed replacing (a double gate would be preferred) and I wanted an arch all in vinyl. Allterior stated that they don't work with vinyl, but they could build me a really great wooden fence. Fine, please provide a quote. Allterior called again and left a message saying they don't do arches and double gates, but thank you for calling. Again leaving a message, I stated a single gate would be fine and I'll do the arch myself. Could I please have a quote? Chris responded by stating that he was really busy the rest of the season and wouldn't provide a quote. It would have to wait until spring. Ok. Could he provide an estimate taking into consideration inflation? No. Did he have an idea what this would have cost this year had his calendar not closed (although through the numerous phone messages he was eager)? No, he would not "waste his time" with hypotheticals. Based on this experience, I would not waste your time with this business. Poor, very poor. I was also going to have a small porch estimated, but I won't bother with this Sheboygan County contractor.
