Getting a cab at the Ronkonkoma LIRR used to be the easiest thing ever. Since uber and lyft came to…read moretown, the number of regular taxis from Village Taxi and Lindy's has declined. Now the only way I can get something reliable is with Ronkonkoma Taxi and Airport Service. They aren't the fastest but they are the most reliable taxi company in the Ronkonkoma area. The fares are never the cheapest either but again, its reliable. If I'm in a pinch I'll call them because at least I know what I'm getting. Their airport shuttles on the other hand are spectacular. If I order a cab for 3am to get me to JFK Airport, it's Johnny on the spot and he's there 15 minutes early for my ride.

Since my last review, I've had to change my mind with the rating. Recently I've been getting this…read moreone cab driver - whose car smells SO badly of stale coffee and cigarettes. A terrible mix and not easy to deal with early in the morning. I've been asking for the windows to be cracked open and to partly stick my head outside. Also the fare to the train station has jumped to $18, while it was only $16 on that first trip. They're still prompt, but I do wish there was another option with non-smoking cars and a cheaper fare. I also found out that they're the same option as "Quality Taxi" company, so pointless to try to call that company instead.

Your company should treat all passengers the same asif all have Carona. Drivers should wear gloves and masks, drive with windows open have partition between passenger and driver. Lindy's assume all passengers have Carona or go out of business . Be the solution not the problem be professional .
