I carefully followed all aftercare instructions and every recommendation provided, yet nothing improved the appearance of my brows. Between the first and second laminations, I even trimmed and tweezed my brows myself in an effort to help the process. Despite two unsuccessful treatments, I was then offered a third lamination as the solution. **Getting three brow laminations in one week is highly damaging and severely stresses your brow hairs. Lamination is a chemical perming process. Doing it three times in a single week over-processes the hairs, which destroys their structure, strips moisture, and can lead to permanent damage. I thought you were trustworthy and reputable, but I was deeply disappointed. I opened up about personal things expecting understanding, but instead I felt dismissed, unkindly treated, and as though you sided with the salon owner rather than listening to my concerns.

The salon was clean, nicely decorated. Kara was pleasant. At the completion of my service, I attempted to schedule the included 6-week touch-up and was told that she wasn't scheduling appointments out that far and would contact me when she opened her book up so that I could book my touch-up appointment. A few days after my appointment once the swelling went down, I realized my eyebrows did not match. One was arched and the other was rounded. I didn't worry much as I figured she would fix them at my touch-up appointment. Several weeks went by and I realized she never contacted me as promised to schedule my touch-up. I reached out to her and was told it was past 6 weeks and per her policy, I would need to pay full price for a touch-up. I reminded her that she was to contact me to schedule and that my eyebrows were mismatched. She took ownership and apologized that she got really busy and forgot about me and sent me her pricelist. I checked her salon business fb page, the business listing on google and all of our communications and nowhere could I find the policy she referenced. Nor did she send it to me when she used it as the reason why I was no longer eligible to receive the included service I prepaid for and I now have permanent mismatched eyebrows.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience so others can…read moremake an informed decision. This was my first visit to this salon, and I came because I researched reviews and was excited to get a few services, which I never do for myself. All services were booked through Polished Salon on Phorest. I specifically asked for callus removal before and during my pedicure on my first visit, the young girl who did my pedicure replied " oh yeah! definitely! we've got an hour an a half!" but it was not provided. Instead, I was told to come back the following week, and they ended up doing an entire keratin treatment to remove my calluses. When I asked the front desk staff why the callus removal treatment was not performed during my first visit, the front desk staff replied, "I don't know." I booked a brow lamination service expecting professional results and clear communication, but the service did not turn out as expected. After my appointment, I noticed issues with the lamination and returned to the salon several times in an effort to have it corrected. Throughout the follow-up process, communication was very frustrating. The technician was difficult to reach, and when I contacted the salon with my questions and concerns, I was told she operates as her own separate business and that they could not help with concerns related to her work or clients. Since I booked through the salon, it was disappointing to feel that no one was willing to take responsibility for helping resolve the issue. The experience quickly became overwhelming as this was my FIFTH time back within one week, I was given answers such as "I don't know," and I felt the front desk had essentially told me I was on my own. I specifically asked the front desk staff to help me and provide answers; I never demanded a refund. I also apologized to everyone in the waiting area as I began to have a panic attack. I was sobbing so hard I could barely catch my breath. Another customer at the salon kindly stayed with me outside for about 30 minutes until I calmed down. I also reached out to the salon owner to share my concerns, but instead of feeling heard, I was described as causing a "commotion" and "aggressive," which was hurtful given how respectfully I had tried to address the situation. The technician did eventually refund the cost of the eyebrow service, but only after offering to redo my lamination for the 3rd time in one week (not healthy or safe) multiple return visits and a significant amount of time and effort on my part. During my last visit, she said she had "done a lot of work" on me and explained that my brow lamination was more of a "straightening" of my brow hair. My brows are naturally straight, so this would not have been necessary. I wish that had been discussed before the service or at my first follow-up, not after five visits. If my brows were not a good candidate or the results were expected to be limited, I should have been told upfront. While I appreciate the refund, it did not make up for the repeated trips, poor communication, and emotional distress. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business, and I hope my review helps others make an informed decision before booking.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience. I paid for $700 Botox services and did not receive…read morethe promised results. After noticing the lack of effectiveness, I contacted the business multiple times to address the issue and seek a resolution.(called at 5, days at 10 days and then seen at 14 days) At 14 days I was given 5 units and paid for 4 more units. Despite making several good-faith attempts--including returning for follow-up visits--the customer service was poor and dismissive. My concerns were not taken seriously, and I was ultimately refused any corrective treatment, refund, or reasonable explanation. The response was " You are full of drama and do you want my lawyers phone number?" $700 for Botox is a good amount of money to not have satisfactory results. Botox is a medical aesthetic service that requires accountability and professionalism. Unfortunately, this business failed in both treatment results and customer care. I would not recommend their services to anyone expecting ethical practices, proper follow-up, or responsibility for outcomes.
