Under sad but expected circumstances, we had our mother cremation services done with Lasting Tributes. She was at AAMC in her final days so Lasting Tributes was the perfect place to call and request the cremation service. They took care of everything and was very pleasant and understanding. They have a beautiful location. The have a nice selection of urns (in house) or you can order more. They have something for everyone. I highly recommend Lasting Tributes. Family of Philip L. Paquin Emily Murphy and the entire Lasting Tributes staff were wonderful. Emily in particular had a warmth and understanding about her that was both soothing and reassuring. We had difficultly focusing on this, due to the sudden loss of our father, but Emily stepped in and handled everything so well for us. She was great with all the phone calls she made on our behalf, as well as filling out forms we needed to complete. She was calm, and very professional, yet personable and empathetic in helping us get every little detail right, so we could focus on our mother and our family. She made us all feel relaxed about discussing all the details for our Dad's funeral and made sure everything was covered. No one wants to write a review on a funeral home but this one needs to be recognized for the way they treat the family. Unbelievable from the moment I made the call to the end of our services. Christina went above and beyond anything that we expected. I called Lasting Tributes because my loved one was at another funeral home and I did not like the way we were being treated. Christina answered the phone and I explained how the other place treated us like absolute garbage and gave us only a 1 hour viewing time with no option to change. Christina, being the absolute professional that she is, informed me that they, meaning Lasting Tributes, work for the family and would accommodate what we needed. She brought us in and everything was set up and in place within the hour. Christina was an absolute pleasure to work with and I surely can't forget Rachel and Phil! Their care and mannerisms can't be taught. They are genuinely terrific people and the way they care and treat people is not something you can be taught. Lasting Tributes should be honored to have such great individuals working for them. Although I am sorry I had to meet the three under these circumstances, I am glad none the less. Although the situation that brought us to Lasting Tributes (the death of our daughter) was difficult, I can't imagine a better experience. We had opted for cremation at a different facility, originally not giving thought to any memorial service or life celebration. While shopping for a venue when the shock wore off, we came across Lasting Tributes. The initial interview with Funeral Director Emily Murphy gave us confidence that all would be handled with care and consideration. She asked questions about our daughter's life, career, and tastes so that the gathering could best reflect who she was. Their services included floral arrangements, pictures (which we supplied) being shown on multiple screens throughout the building, a playlist of our daughter's favorite songs piped in, and light snacks for the attendees. At no time were we pressured or led to make any uncomfortable choices although a number of options were available. The service was tailored to our desires in all aspects. On the day of the gathering the Lasting Tributes staff directed parking, greeted everyone and handled our coats, and generally kept everything going smoothly for everyone. Refreshments and prayer cards were constantly re-supplied, while the staff was so unobtrusive as to be invisible, but there when needed. At the end they provided assistance in loading the flower arrangements and urn to take home, and held everything else for pickup the next business day.
