Issuance of payment was as agreed and I was previously contacted of the arrival of the death certificate. The viewing was on time and our LO body exceeded our expectation. The Limo driver arrived prior to our agreed upon time & advised of his presence only - There was no rush just letting his presence known. The family was greeted upon arrival and escorted to the Chapel and we maintained to timing schedule. The compassion of each person our family engaged with was the perfect experience. But we paid extra for them to Livestream it and that was completely botched for our out of town family. Right before the service began we were told that the final paperwork they insisted we do that morning wasn't correct and we couldn't proceed and we were confused, until our pastor explained to them how they were wrong. It was very traumatizing! And this all had been planned and paid for a year before! They are unprofessional and disorganized!!! This was their Laurel location. This is just a tiny part of the many problems we experienced. Next time we would go with a bigger funeral home like Hines Rinaldi in White Oak.

Tyler was very helpful, gave honest advice and was supportive. Everyone at Barranco was sympathetic, available for questions and patient. We wanted just a simple service, since she was already cremated elsewhere. He made it so easy and it was very affordable. It's a nice location and a lovely interior. The parking lot is massive with an exit in the front and rear. They have a huge assortment of flower arranges to choose from, or you can order them on your own elsewhere. I decided to pick the flowers through Barranco, although pricey, it was guaranteed to be there I didn't have to do anything (I was distracted enough). We took the flowers home with us after the event, and after a week or more, the Barranco flowers outlasted most of the other flowers people sent from a local florist! They also arranged a photo slide show, and put a nice obituary page on their website. They also recorded the program for us and sent us the link. Very high quality and all you need. I do wish we could hear the organ play (funeral music) when we entered, but that was only me, my brother didn't want that. Overall, a solid experience and consistent. I highly recommend.

When I called back to find out why the $100 more, I was told it was because I was not having them come back so he charged me the full standard cancelation rate per their "contract" which by the way, is referring to their email, I signed no contract with them. The Chapel area was lovely and the funeral director arranged the flowers in an attractive manner. We brought in some paintings and personal items, and stands and easels were provided to display them. We were also afforded the use of the audio equipment to play the deceased favorite music. Beyond those amenities and courtesies we found the service provided to be lacking in the extreme. We received complaints from many of the guests attending the visitation and service. The Funeral Director did not greet people at the door, but sat in the office area reading a newspaper throughout the afternoon. He was not dressed in attire befitting a funeral. There was no notice of the funeral and visitation on their website. He did not check with the family on the timing for the funeral service and gave incorrect information to several attendees over the phone. He and the desk attendant were speaking in audible voices during the service that were distracting, disruptive, and disrespectful. The desk attendant was repeatedly rude and unhelpful to the family and guests. She snapped at the daughter of the deceased for placing her purse on the organ. She rudely told the adult granddaughters of the deceased not to bring beverages into the chapel rather than gently pointing out that it wasn't permitted. She refused to put an extra roll of toilet paper in the ladies bathroom until it actually ran out. She was obstructive when a family friend was arranging the photo projection presentation and needed to move several pieces of small furniture. When asked by the organist for a post-it-note without even looking she said she didn't have one. Upon a little cajoling she opened her desk drawer and immediately produced one. Toward the end of the afternoon, she rudely announced to several people that they were closing at 5 o'clock and we had to get things out of the home. A guest had lost her driving glasses and she rudely asked why she would bring them inside if they were driving glasses. This woman should never be around grieving people as she made the whole experience even more painful for the family. While the maintenance assistant was the most pleasant and helpful of the staff he did not seem capable of carrying through with very simple requests. The daughter of the deceased asked that a table in the reception area be placed against the wall to have access to the outlets to plug in tea and coffee urns. She had to request this three times and finally assisted him in moving the table. She also asked that the two urns be filled with water. They were returned with a quarter of the necessary water. Upon a further request, one was returned filled and the other had a few cups more water. Finally the son-in-law of the deceased had someone purchase water and bring it in from outside. As far as the facilities, there was not adequate coat rack space to hang coats, there were no extension cords available, and there was no hot water in the bathrooms. This entire experience added to the grief of the family. The services of this funeral home cannot be recommended.

I had a plumber come in for a consultation so that I could buy a tank-less water heater. I paid…read morefor a consultation so that I could buy a water heater that fitted with my home set up. I did not want to have to make changes to my house. I wanted to get a system that was compatible with my current set up. He gave me his advice and I ordered a Rheem 36kw tank-less water heater as instructed. He installed it and the next day it blew a fuse. Ok, no biggie. A few days later, it cut off again and would not turn back on. Called in an electrician and it turns out that the plumber didn't know what he was talking about. The fuse in my disconnet box blew because he hooked up the water heater's electrical components dangerously incorrect. The Rheeem he suggested requires 4 double 40 breakers to power it. He hooked it up to 1 double 30 breaker. Of course the system was too strong for the breaker and the wiring. I'm grateful my house didn't catch on fire but now I need to changed the breakers, upgrade wiring, and add additional disconnects to work the system properly. F that plumber. I paid him to avoid this. Enter Mister Electrical to the rescue. The tech came out. He was professional and extremely respectful of my home, even took extra time to make sure he didn't leave a spot behind him. After examining the set up and talking with his senior, the tech said they would take some time to make sure they get it right. He didn't want to give me any misleading information. The Senior plumber, being made aware of my situation, took a few days to go over the manual and my set up to find the best course of action for my problem. After a few days, he came up with a solution to hook it up to 2 double 60 amp breakers and to run it at a lower setting (the normal power settings were far beyond what I could ever use... damn plumber). At the end of the day, I appreciate how Mister Electric took the time to find the best solution to my specific problem. They were always respectful of my home and money. They could have rightfully charged me $5000 to hook it up like the manual basic instruction. But they took the time and effort to learn the system and find a way to save me over $3000 dollars. Integrity is priceless. Call Mister Electrical now.
