The shop has soft, warm lighting and relaxing music, along with the aroma of incense and bath oils, which makes it a nice experience to some in a shop. My favourite things there have to be the simple, Jade rings that only cost around £2- a bargin as they look great and are easy to wear everywhere. As for the place where they do the manicures, etc, they're actually a small section at the back corner of the shop, and they look comfortable and clean, but if you don't fancy people watching you while you have your eyebrows threaded, then you may be put off by the fact that it is not an enclosed room. If you're looking for a place to get pampered, or buy a gift for someone, then this is a great place to try.

Beauty Base is a shop for discount fragrances and cosmetics. For instance, a 100ml bottle of Eizabeth Arden's Sunflower costs £12.99. This is one of my favourite fragrances and it's an absolute bargain at this price. You could probably get it cheaper on ebay but you wouldn't be confident it wasn't a fake - I've used loads of perfumes from Beauty Base and they are definitely genuine. My local outlet also has cosmetics, skincare and men's fragrances, all at discount prices. Newer perfumes don't have as much of a discount but are still good value.

Sally stocks a wide range of hair and beauty supplies. I discovered this when a friend of mine used to colour my hair at home. We had a great deal - I would drive her here, pay for the colour and bleach, which usually came to under £20.00, then make her lunch or dinner while she did my hair, and that was my payment. I miss those days. As I am not in the beauty trade, I don't get the hallowed 40% discount. Still, there is a lot that I can get here that works out cheaper than even, say, Superdrug. Plenty of the shampoos and conditioners that are used in salons, and then pushed as a sale after they have done your hair can be found here, always at a vastly reduced price.

She read for me, what products were included and how to use them. She was so knowledgeable, really knew the products well. She never made be feel pressured to buy and was more concerned I found a gift I would love. Nothing was too much trouble and it was all done with a smile. I chose a Rose gift set. I love it. It smells delicious and feels very luxurious. Thank you Eve. September served me at the checkout. Eve has said it was my birthday and September put a label with a positive quote on it. She said she used the Rose body conditioned I had chosen and loved it. Fantastic customer service. They both made my day! This store has a great atmosphere. Also, I can't get my head around the solid shampoo and conditioner bars - I once rubbed it over my head for about 10 minutes and still had greasy hair at the end of the shower. But there are things in here that I will always come into pick up. One is The Yummy One, a massage bar that I use in the shower which pumps so much moisture into my dry skin. The other is the BabyFace cleansing bar which takes your makeup off but doesn't strip your skin off at the same time, it leaves it really soft. If you are shopping here for the first time, be warned that the staff - who are very friendly and helpful - are big fans of the up sell, so you will be encouraged to compliment your purchases with more purchases.
