Prices are ok for most of the items I saw here but their customer service is lacking! The guy in there was more interested in making smoke rings and chatting with his friends that were hanging out there than helping customers. The liquid selection looked ok but it seemed they were out of any flavors I asked about, and any flavor I asked about the clerk didn't know anything about. I have been to many Vape stores and this is one of the worst. To bad for the capital district there are not many choices to get vapor supplies but I'd be looking online if I lived in this area. read more

I agree with other reviewers about the staff's lack of customer service. They give short blunt answers almost to rush you out of the place. Everything in the place is 2-4 times the price you'd pay online. My advice, if you're new to vaping, go in, pick their brains for info and go home and order the same thing online (batteries AND ejuice) and save a ton of $. Also the juice selection is good, but the battery selection is lacking..... Also why dont their spin batteries come in manufacturers boxes?!?!?! Are they used or refurbished? Drive the extra couple miles to smokers choice in troy. The selection is amazing! Staff is Very friendly and they don't make you feel like you're wasting their time. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The clerk was busy with another customer when I came in but he immediately acknowledged me when I walked in. As soon as he was finished with the other customer he helped me out immediately. He was knowledgeable about his products and made several suggestions based on my preferences. I walked in looking to buy a new vape and ask what he recommended. I told him what I was looking for he did not recommend me anything!!!! He also told me his stock was low and he would be getting more in next week and did not even try to keep a conversation going. I've sat on writing a review for this place for a while, because I wanted to give the place a chance. The first few times I came in here, there were a lot of people just kind of hanging around. The thing that keeps me coming back here is that they carry my juice that I use in my vape, and there are really no other notable Vape Shops around the area. The one that I used to go to over in Rotterdam is 'meh' and the guy that works there was kind of a pain. There was no reason to drive all the way out there for a dingy place with such crappy staff. This is why I come to the Vapor Outlet in Latham, because there is a wide selection of juices, but you should have an idea of what you want before you go in there - because the selection is quite large and the names of all the different juices will make your head spin. If you go in, know what you want and get out, it's not a bad place, but if you are the only one in there, the guy working behind the counter is kind of quiet. Being a salesman of sorts, I expect people to try to sell me stuff and have a little more enthusiasm about the product. Here they are kind of like 'whatever'. I used to frequent a place in western NY that was really good. vape culture in Rochester and Buffalo is very much alive, and in the Capital District it is 1 step over dead - but I look forward to this place getting better over the coming months. read more

This is an update from my previous review. I have changed my rating to 4/5. The customer service seems to have improved and they have a knowledgable staff. Nick was especially helpful and told me about the J Well Troca. I love the vape and I recommend this shop. They have a good selection and they know what they're talking about...UNLIKE Smoker's Choice. Smoker's Choice told me they had something and when I drove there they didn't. The worst customer service I've ever had in any vape shop. I would understand if it was busy but there was no one in there except the one miserable worker, who barely talked and seemed annoyed that I was there. I didn't even have any questions, I'm an experienced vaper and only wanted to purchase some juice. I will never return to this shop, money is better spent elsewhere. read more
