First, a bit of context: I've been vaping since early 2011, far before there were any brick and mortar stores in our area; since then, I've been to every brick and mortar in and around the capital district-- and yep, you guessed it: 51Vape is truly the best. Perhaps a concrete example of one recent experience may illustrate their commitment to not only customer service and quality products, but to vaping awareness and growing the industry. My buddy, a 2 pack/day unfiltered rollie smoker for the past ~15 years, came into the store with his interested piqued by my infatuation with our growing industry and hobby over the past few years. Zach -- one of the original members of the team, was especially helpful, not only offering practical and realistic advice w. regard to the quitting process itself, but also with helping Bill narrow down flavors, and advising him to buy the kanger setup which he ultimately ended up with. Employers should always know when their employees consistently go above and beyond, and Zach really did just that. I have another friend who will be starting vaping after returning home from California-- do you need to guess where I will be taking him? This, however, is not a mere exception to the rule: every single employee that the owner Dave has hired in the past year and a half I've known him has been wonderful. To be a bit cliché: From the first day I walked in their store I felt welcome-- and that is very often not the case for me in retail environments. Over the past year I've grown relatively close to all of these guys; and, as new hires stream in, each is as personable, kind, and --most importantly, in our industry-- highly knowledgeable as the last. Worst vape shop of all time. Bought 2 Myles (they gave me one of the old versions without me knowing), and one of them stopped charging within a week. Brought back the Myle, charger, reciept and box sleeve and they refused to replace or refund it because I didn't have the whole original box it came in (After admitting Myles not charging after a week is a common problem). Who the fuck keeps tiny boxes when nobody tells them to? Nobody told me to keep the box, theres no warning in the store or on the box. The whole reason I bought it from this store, rather than online for half the price was so I could bring it in if there was any problems, I guess not. Might as well get your rigs and juice for half the price that they sell them here for online. Also, if they gave me the right vape (newer one, rather than giving me the older shitty one for the same price) I wouldn't be having this problem in the first place. Stole my money. Fuck them. There is nothing needed to identify the vape or anything on the box, and they can't resell it in the box because the device is broken. There is no reason for them to not replace the device (even after their worker said that it was in perfect condition and that this is a common issue with the vape i bought). They also refuse to give me an explanation of why the box is needed. The owner also calls paying customers "bitches" and "dumb as brick walls" on his personal, public Facebook page, so professional! Spend your money online where you can get everything that they sell for half the price, or from another vape shop where you might actually get some customer service. read more

I don't live or work in the area. I had a meeting not far from 518 Vape, and because I needed a new vaporizer, I stopped at a few shops because I needed a new vaporizer. None of them had what I was looking for. So I stop at 518 Vape, and walk out with the exact opposite of what I thought I wanted!
