Food was authentic and very good. The empanadas were almost like beef patties but they tasted delicious. Birria tacos were amazing.

First time at Pollo Campero -- and I get the hype!…read more The drive-thru was packed and the parking lot was full, so I parked across the street and walked in. The line moved quickly, and I ordered an 8-piece family meal with 2 sides, 2 dinner rolls, 2 tortilla's and a drink for $31.89 + 1 Regular drink $3.10 + tax $3.11 totaled $38.10 -- honestly, excellent value for under $40. Only downside: they only had legs and thighs available. Luckily, those are my favorite pieces, so no complaints here (KFC would never... LOL). I tried both the fried and baked chicken -- both were seasoned really well and very tasty. The yuca fries were a fun change from regular fries, and I enjoyed them. For my drink, I tried the "Jamaica" flavor which I think is similar to sorrel. It wasn't very sweet -- more on the tart side -- but refreshing. I tried the Horchata and Mango drinks, but Jamaica was my favorite. Overall, a good first experience. Delicious food, good value, and I'll definitely be back to try more.

So I opted to go inside - it was much better - 2 cashiers who kept the line moving - the mango drink ran out When I mentioned it they said they would have more made but it may be a while so I missed out on that - coupons had been sent to me prior to opening so I ended up pay $16 for a 4 piece meal with 3 sides and a tortilla the roasted chicken is really good - I wasn't a fan of the fried chicken - I'll be back to give it another try when the crowds lessen -
