Overall, I'm not a huge fan of this place. There are plenty of solid Mexican and Spanish style resturants on long island and this one fell short. Food was super salty and greasy. The quesadilla was so greasy I had to blot it with a napkin. The nachos were big but not very flavorful. Service wise the place was empty but was still slow. Our server wasn't rude but you could tell she could care less about helping us out. Price wise I think it's way over priced and not worth the money. They did some work inside but overall just put a bandaid on the old spot and painted everything exoticly. Would recommend looking for a different spot to try. read more

This restaurant /bar is located in a shopping center with ample parking. It is small, but clean and cool. It has music playing, a tv on and a nice vibe. The drinks were good, a great price during happy hour and served with a friendly smile. Unlike other Mexican restaurant bars, there were no chips or salsa served with our drinks. The chairs here are absolutely horrible. Small. Uncomfortable.... just takes away from this restaurant tremendously. I seriously would never eat or drink here again due to how uncomfortable the chairs are. It's a shame because I think this bar and restaurant could be a pleasant get away on a quiet afternoon. I am wavering between 2-3 stars. I only drank here and have not tried the food but I won't come back due to how uncomfortable the seating was. read more

We came here on a Friday night. The restaurant was very busy, but luckily we didn't have to wait long for a table. I ordered the Steak Fajita, and my wife ordered the Chicken and Shrimp Fajita. I thought the steak was cooked nicely, but the fajita as a whole had a lot missing. It didn't come with any sour cream, or salsa or maybe a little guacamole. The food was pricey, but the portions were pretty large. My complaint about the place is not about the food or the service. The place has about 10 tables, and only one waitress was taking care of the whole restaurant. The waitress was very kind, but we had to wait a very long time for our food, water or the check. The restaurant needs to hire more staff to handle busy Friday and Saturday nights. read more

This place just didn't hit for me. Food was subpar, service was mediocre and it was pricey. The graffiti walls were a cool vibe though. The place is pretty small but not so small that there should only be one server who is also the hostess. She was inattentive cuz there was too much for her to do. We ordered the bbq wings because they were on a special for $5 so we figured why not-they were good but not $15 good on a regular night. There were only 6 of them lol but for dinner we all got fajitas, I went with the chicken and shrimp and it was lacking flavor and the shrimp was a little too fishy so it was not fresh. I needed hot sauce but it took too long to flag the waitress down. We went with the churros for dessert and those were actually very good. My friend got a mezcalita to drink and said it was weak so he didn't get another. They are also on the foodie card so 10% off. read more

I've been coming to this place every Tuesday with my friend and I've fell in love with the steak tacos! I'm always craving it. You would think the staff would know our names by now but they're familiar with our faces lol The service so far has been very well and the manager (I assume) always welcomes up at the door. Spot is tiny but very colorful and vibrant. The bartender was excellent and made phenomenal margaritas. My gf's got classic margaritas and coconut margaritas and they loved them. I got the margarita flight which was a nice way to sample different ones. I liked the tajin rim and it was cute the way they bring them out with sparklers. Went with my wife and two babies a few weeks ago, very soon after it opened. They did a great job with making the place seem unique and different. I love the ambiance and decor. The service was very attentive and they were committed to making sure my little ones were taken care of. The guacamole and tacos were very good. Different flair than what you see other places. I wish you were able to mix and match some of the taco selections. They said they couldn't that day but on Tuesdays they do. Not sure if they changed that, but I wish I could have tried more tacos. The dessert though, omg. Those churros were godly. I'm not a dessert person at all, and we finished the entire plate. Absolutely delicious! I love the modern flair and service. As soon as you walk in, you walk into art. This place is so nicely decorated, good for birthday celebrations and young crowd. It was my 2nd time here 2 weeks ago. I had two friends visiting Long Island so I definitely wanted to take them to a place that's had a great atmosphere, great vibes & good drinks/food. We got the margarita flight which was delicious except tasted a bit too much like sugar. The tacos were okay, they were pretty dry. However, the guac from the chips & guac definitely helped make the tacos taste a bit better. I don't know if I would come here again because the drinks were mediocre & the menu was slightly expensive, however it is a great atmosphere. I had heard so much about the OG Levittown location that I was excited to try the new Massapequa spot! My friend and I came for brunch on a Saturday afternoon. Unlike the other location, there was no brunch menu. Despite that, we were not disappointed. It's quieter than the other as it's in a strip mall. Less club vibes but nice. The whole place is decorated with gorgeous graffiti by a local artist. We started with their signature margarita flight. The only one I wasn't a fan of was the cucumber marg. The rest were delicious!! Also bonus points for the presentation. For food, my friend got the arrachera a la Mexicana. She said it was the best skirt steak she's ever had. It comes with so much food as well! I opted for the classic chicken quesadilla. For dessert, we split the churro festival that has churros stuffed with dulce de leche. This place was sadly very disappointing. Ambiance was nice and the restaurant well nicely decorated but the food was terrible! We had nachos, empanadas, quesadillas, and wings. The wings were so gross and not fresh that we actually returned them which is not something we usually do. Empanadas were also very dry and unflavorful. Even with the sauce it left a lot to be desired. The nachos we were the best out of everything we had but also nothing to rave about. They were very understaffed so service was very slow but we felt bad for the staff because there was only 1 waitress and 1 Bartender running the whole place which was fairly busy. We also got a frozen margarita which tasted like it was made with very poor quality tequila. We wouldn't recommend this place and likely wouldn't ever go back ourselves. read more

I had my 25th birthday party here and it was amazing!! The price for guac chips salsa an entree and bottomless wine beer and margaritas was unbeatable. My wife and I stopped by to check out the new La Cantinita the other day for dinner and we were very impressed. We started out with drinks and the chips and guac, they were all great, I had the spicy margarita and my wife had a michelada. For dinner I had the surf and turf tacos, the tacos were very big I couldn't even finish all three in one sitting, they were delicious as well. My wife had the Mexican salad with shrimp, again the portions were large and her salad was great. They've redone the inside and the ambiance is nice, they did a good job.
