If it happened to me it's probably happened to someone else. The owner of this salon (pretty short Asian man) sexually assaulted me doing my hair. He waited until everyone left and then started diming the lights, was weird but I didn't react or think a lot of it. He started to get anxious? And was pacing around and I grew impatient because I wanted to toner rinsed out it had been well over 10 minutes. He took me to the sink area and while I was laying back with my eyes closed he touched my breast. I said stop and he did. I looked up and around for a camera because I couldn't believe it, the camera is only in the front of the salon. He planned this, turned the lights down and took me to the back sink area with no cameras. At the end of the appointment he offered a discount . We didn't speak of the touching. I was so shocked I didn't know how to react. I was 23 and a dancer at the time. I had shared where I worked and my experience and gossip as I would any stylist. And honestly I thought he was gay and I was safe. Be careful with this salon owner and don't leave your daughters alone with him.

I have struggled to maintain and make my curls look "bouncy" and shiny the way it looks after I visit a salon. Andrea was very patient and thorough when explaining to me what products and oils I could use and demonstrated the techniques on my hair so I knew how to replicate this myself once I got home. I was going to an awards dinner this particular evening and requested a blowout but I appreciated that she helped me cut my natural curls first so I could see and know what to expect once I wore my hair natural again (I don't think any hairdresser has taken the time to do this for me). The blow out looked great too and it was nice to have Andrea take so much time to show me both styles and explain both to me. She always paused to ask how I was liking the cut and getting my feedback. I'm pretty low maintenance but it was lovely to have her be so detailed. Two years ago, I was the maid of honor for my mother's wedding and I witnessed my mom be absolutely treated like crap on her wedding day. This artist was contracted with Clementine's and her name was Cierra. She made comments to my mom about how her face was "asymmetrical " and she straight up said in front of everyone said loudly "your skin is aged". Everyone in the room was super uncomfortable with Cierra and she made my mom cry on her wedding day. Then Cierra showing a pic to Steph talking literal crap about my mom and all the bridesmaids heard it and she was literally laughing. Any comment my mom would ask her to fix she would just insult her and not fix it. Fast forward, this company gets an email from my mom who is upset and all they offer to do is "pass it on" to the stylist and that it "broke her heart" but offered nothing to make up for this terrible experience. You can look at all my Yelp reviews, I NEVER leave small businesses bad reviews but this is so unacceptable and unprofessional and I want to prevent any bride from experiencing this on their wedding day. As a business after hearing this you would think you would think you would work to fix it and make your clients who spent hundreds of dollars something to make up for this. NOT THIS PLACE. My final bill was around $700--roughly double what I had been told over the phone. After I contacted the owner about the discrepancy, I was refunded $150, but I still paid far more than I expected. Unfortunately, the service itself did not meet my expectations. To make matters worse, during my appointment, one of my expensive earrings went missing. Despite bringing this to the salon's attention immediately, I was not reimbursed for the lost earring, and the owner has since stopped responding to my calls and messages about the situation. The combination of being charged much more than quoted, receiving disappointing service, losing a valuable personal item, and then having difficulty getting a response afterward has been extremely frustrating. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this salon.
