I'm writing another review because of the fact that my review got removed on Google which is super weird so I'll go through Yelp. Two years ago, I was the maid of honor for my mother's wedding and I witnessed my mom be absolutely treated like crap on her wedding day. This artist was contracted with Clementine's and her name was Cierra. She made comments to my mom about how her face was "asymmetrical " and she straight up said in front of everyone said loudly "your skin is aged". Everyone in the room was super uncomfortable with Cierra and she made my mom cry on her wedding day. Then Cierra showing a pic to Steph talking literal crap about my mom and all the bridesmaids heard it and she was literally laughing. Any comment my mom would ask her to fix she would just insult her and not fix it. Fast forward, this company gets an email from my mom who is upset and all they offer to do is "pass it on" to the stylist and that it "broke her heart" but offered nothing to make up for this terrible experience. You can look at all my Yelp reviews, I NEVER leave small businesses bad reviews but this is so unacceptable and unprofessional and I want to prevent any bride from experiencing this on their wedding day. As a business after hearing this you would think you would think you would work to fix it and make your clients who spent hundreds of dollars something to make up for this. NOT THIS PLACE. I love Clementine's Salon! I've been going here for a few years now and have done facials and had my haircut done here as well. Meg does my hair and is really wonderful, she's styled my short hair and helped me with trims and styling it when I've been growing it out as well. I always walk out of the salon feeling renewed. Clementines at Stanley is an absolute vibe with insanely high quality service. It took me a little bit to find my hairdresser in Denver but the second I met Danyelle at Stanley's Clementines, I could tell she's the best. Danyelle is first and foremost so good at creating your hair vision - she's just damn good at her job. She is also so sweet and fills your day with positivity and hilarious stories while you get your hair done. I've also had off days and she's fine with having a non-talkative hair cut too! But every time I get my hair done by Danyelle, it's like hanging with my talented best friend. For real though, if you need evidence: look at my before and after photos which include a full color process & toner, and the addition of halo extensions that she perfectly blended into my real hair. I am walking down the aisle in two weeks and she has me ready to walk down the aisle looking like a queen. While visiting family in Denver, we were lucky enough to find Clementine's Salon. I made an appointment for my daughter to get her hair done (first time coloring) and we were scheduled with Megan S. She was so friendly and easy to talk to. I immediately felt at ease. My daughter wanted to dye the underneath of her hair purple and get a trim. I was nervous since bleaching your hair can really damage it. Megan did such an amazing job! The color came out beautifully and the cut had the perfect amount of layers to let the purple peek through her brown hair. She even asked once it was styled if my daughter wanted more layers cut in to show more color. She is SO excited to head back to school with her new hair. THANK YOU MEGAN S! 10/10!! Five Stars!! I've visited for both hair services and lash lifts, and I can honestly say I don't have a favorite because everyone there is wonderful! Most recently, Megan B. did my lashes, and the experience was so relaxing I almost fell asleep. What I love most is how much care they take in understanding your needs and then exceeding your expectations tenfold. I've tried other places in the past (usually out of scheduling convenience) but I've always regretted it. Today I visited Clementines for a cut and color. I met with Nicole via FaceTime last week to have a consult and while her schedule was super booked through March the front desk was able to get me in within a week! Score. They follow covid protocols with a form, temperature check, masks, and limiting how many people are in the salon at a time. I was so impressed with Nicole's skill as she helped take my drab and very damaged hair from a previous salon experience, to healthy and so natural looking. She listened to my needs and delivered. Would highly recommend this salon AND Nicole. It may mean waiting even longer to get an appointment but worth sharing her skills. I also normally don't purchase salon products but with the incredible work that was done I wanted to keep my hair looking as great as possible. If you're curious, pricing is good too compared to what I've had in the past. Very fair and reasonable. read more

I see Ashley regularly for single process color and haircuts. She has been doing my hair for about 1 1/2 years. The color is perfect, matched to my natural color exactly and covers up my significant amount of gray hair. I get frequents compliments from people saying that my hair looks very healthy and it feels really healthy. Ashley is funny and easy-going, very easy to chat with. The salon has a nice vibe - not too fussy but nice. It feels approachable while also having a modern feel. They have a great selection of products and a great waiting area. The location inside Stanley Marketplace is easy to get to and great for getting food before or after the appointment. The front desk is super quick to respond and they have easy online booking. I want to emphasize that this is not a review of clementines as a whole but of a specific stylist - Laura (at Stanley Market; please do not confuse with Laura Alexandria). I spent over a year and a half growing out my hair from a one-length bob and recently moved to the area and was very excited to splurge and treat myself to a nice haircut. Unfortunately for me, Laura gave me the worst haircut of my life. In fact, I came home to realize I had been given two completely different haircuts. I had asked for long blended layers and a face frame and, while the right side of my head was okay, the left side looked like she had split my hair in half and unevenly cut one shelf layer. I could literally pull back the bottom layer and it looked like I had the worst cut bob in the world. I immediately called the salon and they got me back in the next day. Olivia was very kind and tried to salvage (yes, salvage - there is no fixing this level of carelessness and incompetence on Laura's part) my hair. Eventually, Dani (the owner) stepped in and also did her best. She was also extremely kind and understanding. I ultimately ended up losing nearly six inches of length overall and walked away with a haircut that I absolutely hate. In fact, I was told that I will have to part my hair differently moving forward to hide the absurd mistakes made by Laura. I want to emphasize how kind and caring and professional Dani and Olivia were in trying to fix this and genuinely appreciate being given a full refund and being offered the opportunity to come back and undergo another attempt at fixing it after it has regrown some. I strongly debated not posting a review as I believe my experience is an isolated reflection of one stylist, not the salon as a whole (hell, I am seriously debating going back to see Dani in the future outside of the haircut fix); however, I can't imagine not saying something and having this happen to someone else. I truly cannot believe I spent so much time growing out my hair just to receive a botched haircut I have to grow out again. read more

Clementine's is my favorite Denver area salon. I've been going to Crystal for my color since the Stanley location opened, and every single visit I'm blown away by her creativity and skill. I love to change up my hair color with something different every visit, and Crystal always raises the bar with her execution of my requests. I'm new-ish to the Denver area and was looking for a new salon to call home. I found Clementine's through a friend recommendation after a bad experience at another salon, and decided to give it a try. First off, let me say I'm obsessed with the space. The welcome area is SO adorable, and the girls at the front desk are incredibly sweet. I got checked in quick, and the girl helping me walked me over to make tea while I waited and browsed the wide variety of hair and skincare products in the front. After my haircut, I was even given a first time client goody bag with some really awesome samples of the products that I can't wait to try, plus some coupons and a little chocolate. The whole experience at Clementine's was amazing. Second, I have to highlight the stylist, Sam. When I checked in, I told them I wanted a trim, layers, and light texture for spring since my hair was feeling heavy, and she assured me Sam was THE person for the job. Not only was she incredibly nice and super easy to talk to, she gave me one of the most beautiful haircuts I've had. She asked me what I didn't like about my last experience prior and made sure to pull out the stops to avoid those mistakes. She worked super efficiently, gave me exactly what I was looking for, topped off with an incredibly beautiful blowout that I wish I had gotten pics of that day before leaving. Even 3 days later, after adventuring with a friend for the weekend, this is what my hair still looks like! I had a 60 minute facial with Morgan B at the location on the top floor of the Stanley and it was the absolute best facial I have ever had! I am so happy to have found the perfect esthetician for my acne prone combination asian skin! She thoughtfully addressed all of my concerns and we worked through my skincare routine to find any holes- and all of her suggestions have seriously improved my skin texture!! The facial itself was so smooth and it really felt like I was hanging out with a friend! The scalp and neck massages were to DIE for. In the past I've been over exfoliated broken out afterwards but with Morgan I left feeling completely moisturized and she was able to extract any clogged pores I had. I would definitely request Morgan if you want to have a super comfortable and educated esthetician that truly cares about giving you a customized experience!
