A brand new bakery, breakfast, & lunch area in winter haven. I can't wait to come back for lunch. They had beef stew for $ 7.00 that came with rice. I love beef stew. I was heading into Orlando I was only stopping by for a cappuccino & a small snack for the road. I ended up getting a guava pastries, a Macoroon & a chicken croquette. The staff were so nice. The place is super clean. The price is so reasonable. They severe Oatmeal for breakfast. I love oatmeal. They have really nice variety of breakfast treats, to lunch treat. I've been following them on Instagrams some of their food sell out. Which is a blessing. If you live in the area stop by & shows some love. They do take out & indoor. Wow! Passed by this place for two years and decided to go in today for our lunch. We both got the Cuban with fries and a potato ball each. What is not pictured is the other half of my Cuban that I woofed down lol. Portions are great as I'm already full from half a sandwich. Flavor is wonderful. Looks very clean inside of the building, very welcoming. They did a great remodel from taking over the meat market. Staff is kind and helpful. Will certainly be back. While in the area, we were looking for. Local business to patronize and found this gem. The food is made to order. Even though it was early afternoon, breakfast is offered. I had a wonderful three egg scramble with freak veggies and ham. Wonderfully. Coffee was freshly brewed. The co-owner wore multiple hats as hostess, order taker, food sever and radio personality for the on-premise Spanish new format radio station. All food are made on site to include a wide selection of baked goods. Had to bring some home. The decor is diner-like and clean. A must-eat place in my book. This is a cute bakery in winter haven just down Cypress Gardens Road. The service was great, everything is made to order so there's a bit of a wait. The avocado toast is a huge portion but very good, on a super yummy bread (I'm pretty sure they make). My only complaint is it was so hot inside, I asked for the air to be turned down but it never got cooler. The staff was very hospitable, the beef empanada was also very good. We stopped by here on the way to Lego land and were a little Leary as the parking lot was empty, however we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly, the food was good, the restaurant was clean and they had card games you could play at the table while waiting. I have been driving by this place for the past year and finally decided to try it for breakfast. I enjoyed the latte breakfast that included yummy baggett toast. Very friendly, and attentive service. The place is clean and fresh and I was so surprised to see behind a glass wall, a Puerto Rican radio/TV broadcast on air. Where else will you see that? This is the former Cypress Cafe where I was a previous customer. This latin cafe is a big change, that did not disappoint. It is hard to find a decent Cuban sandwich in this town, so I will return for lunch and try theirs, based on posiitive reviews here. read more

While the owners seem very nice, we were a bit unimpressed. The majority of the breakfast foods that we saw looked as though they were some sort of frozen prepackaged product. The food we ate tasted that way as well. For three of us we spent almost $40 which was excessive for what we got. It took almost an hour for us to get our frozen breakfast foods. I know they're new, but if they do not serve better quality products, along with better quality service, I don't feel as though this restaurant will last long. If it were just a service, I would try again, but because the food is not fantastic, I think we'll pass. I cannot speak to the specific bakery items because we ordered breakfast. However, my son did get a doughnut, which did not look like it was made in house. Maybe the empanadas would be good? I will say it was clean, and as I mentioned, the owners were nice. read more

Please do not waste your time going to this place. A group of us went for my mothers birthday and not only did they unapologetically get our orders wrong but also they got my order wrong 3 times. When I asked for lettuce to fix the ingredient they missed they took another 15 min and came to the table with someone else's order but did not bring my lettuce. When I tried to go remedy the situation myself in the front instead of apologizing and fixing my order the blond haired cashier proceeded to argue with me and tell me she told me ingredients that she never actually said and everyone in my group confirmed she never said that. When another person at the table told her she still after 20 min did not have her sandwich she got the order a 2nd time and asked if everyone was ok and she bent over and put her face in my face since I had gone up to the desk to complain. Everyone at my table was shocked she did that to me when I had not even said anything that time. The blond hair cashier lady that was this disrespectful at no time was apologetic and super rude. It ruined my mom's birthday because she had to go talk to the lady after she saw this level of disrespect and was still unapologetic. This place of business is a disaster, rude to their customers, and at no time got the whole table's orders correct despite us ordering separately at the front and paying separately. Food quality sub par and they didn't even have menus with the ingredients of their sandwiches and not all the items were on the menu. Smoothies offered but not listed on the menu! Do not waste your time. There are a million other Hispanic bakeries with better food and friendly service!!!! read more
