El Olivio Mexican Restaurant offers a delightful dining experience, particularly noteworthy for their homemade chips and fresh salsa. The salsa is a standout, bursting with freshness and a depth of flavor that complements the chips beautifully. The chicken is cooked to perfection, tender and infused with savory spices that highlight the quality of the ingredients. Overall, El Olivio provides a memorable and authentic Mexican culinary adventure, making it a must-visit for anyone craving genuine Mexican flavors. Also, the cleanest kitchen I have ever seen. The margaritas were great.

One of the worst places to eat Mexican food Don't even try it I don't think that they have a real Mexican chef in the kitchen who ever is cooking I could do it much better the chips sauce is just a red sauce, the chicken tasted like it was few days old.

Very good food with friendly and quick service. The quesadilla was delicious!! The homemade chips were very good even without the salsa. Highly recommend.

Terrible food and terrible service. Gave us 8, yes, 8 complimentary chips with some salsa. We asked for more and they charged us almost $3 for another 8 chips. "Chimichanga" was similar to a microwave meat pocket. Two other parties left before even placing an order. Bad vibes.

A few things struck me as soon as I sat down. First, the atmosphere - this place is dimly lit during the middle of the day, giving the feel of a place that might be a literal "hole in a wall". That's not a bad thing. It lent an authentic feel to the place, and I feel like most of us are probably looking for authenticity when seeking out Latin American food. The chips added to this - the chips themselves were thick and crunchy in a way that leads me to believe they were fried in the kitchen today, and the salsa also felt fresh and had a great mix of flavor and a little spice. So far so good. I was getting lunch and while there was a lunch menu, I was pleasantly surprised to see there were daily lunch specials - specifically today's special was tostadas. It had been a while since I'd had good tostadas so I eagerly ordered that. I'm sad to say that the entree did not live up to the atmosphere or appetizer - while they were certainly tasty, they weren't great. Service was quick and attentive without being overbearing. My server had, at one point, seven tables full of lunch patrons and never seemed to skip a beat. My only complaint would be having to wait a bit for the bill, but I wolfed down my food and am always impatient to leave, so that's perhaps not totally fair. If the entree had been to the level of everything else I'd have to give this place four stars. I wish I could give it three and a half, but in all good conscious I have to go with three. It's a place I will return to but likely won't go out of my way for.

The place is dark. The food is not good. There has to be better Mexican food in town. Sorry, but it was really bad. Bad chips, bad salsa too

It's a large space so I don't think there's ever any wait. Service was quick and friendly. I tried the margarita flight. I actually wasn't the biggest fan (too sweet) but I'm glad I tried it. Next time I'll stick with another drink on their menu (they have so many great looking ones.) My husband got a skinny margarita and liked it. My older son requested queso and it was pretty good. I ended up drizzling it on my beans. He also got chicken tenders, ended up eating the fries, not loving the chicken so we should try something else. My younger son shared my carne asada, which was delicious. I highly recommend. I added the chimmichurri sauce which is the way to go. I got it with black beans. I wasn't a fan of the flour tortillas so no point in getting them and wasting the carbs. My husband got the taco de asada with refried beans and corn tortillas. He enjoyed it and would get it again. This is definitely a great place to stop near Legoland. I would eat here again.

I got the enchiladas creama with shredded chicken. The chicken was super juicy which is hard to do with shredded chicken. Our server Veronica was so kind and attentive. I have a peanut allergy and she double, triple checked to make sure there was no peanuts in kitchen. The place is very clean, the booths done with nice leather detail. The bar area is very nicely decorated, I love their bar stools. We will definitely be coming back.

You can tell that this is a small family operation as I saw a kid who had to be at least 10 helping out wiping tables and what not which was totally awesome as a small family place like this is the type of business where I want to give my money to! So the food now that was what's totally good as I had found it a bit unique that they gave me almost a hard shell quesadilla but as soon as I dipped it into the consommé it became soft and incredibly delicious even more so than it was before as the meat was very flavorful along with the veggies inside made for one awesome quesadilla! Quesabirria Tacos here are on point as they also were packed with flavor and just soo good definitely one of the best tacos I've had in Florida! Their horchata was also very delicious flavorful and just perfect for when I needed a sip of that delicious milky goodness! Overall this is a super legit and very yummy spot to grab some Birria so do yourself a favor and don't let it pass you by as you'll be happy you came here for some delicious Mexican food!
