I've been to Latte Donatte a handful of times and the drinks are always great! I personally love the chillers. The chillers are almost like a coffee milkshake; they are creamy and delicious. I always recommend the chillers! This time I ordered a caramel beze chiller without whipped cream. My family also got caramel beze chillers, it's a hit in our household! They use colectivo coffee which is always a local favorite. The service is always great and the staff consistently welcoming and ready to make your drink! The service is timely and this was my first time going through the drive-thru everything went smoothly. The inside is cozy and has seating. read more

I love this coffee shop, it's the cutest place in Watertown to get a drink. Everyone is so kind there and they even have a drive-through for if you don't wanna come all the way inside I love their seasonal items and how they try to mix things up throughout the months. It's a great place to sit down and study if you have business work to attend to. Everyone is always kind there and they always are happy to be at work. Stopped in for the first time today. Had a lovely spinach and feta quiche and granddaughter had the bacon, potatoes and cheddar quiche. Both very flavorful. Also tried a seasonal iced latte. The service was outstanding and the restaurant very clean. Comfortable seating, soft music and soothing lighting. We will definitely be back. read more

This coffee shop is fantastic. I've been frequenting this place for sometime now and above all else, the quality of their products are wonderful. They seem to care that I am happy with my purchase and are glad to see me come into their store. I really appreciate that the owners seem to put money back into the store as shown by new signs, beautiful brick flooring and new countertops to name a few. Their offstreet parking and drive-through are especially handy as well. I just tried the pulled pork sandwich and a chili from the new food menu offerings. It was so damn good I'm going again tomorrow. Wow read more

Great coffee (Colectivo!) but pretty run of the mill pastries My daughter and I dropped by on a Sunday morning looking for a late breakfast during a break between games in a local soccer tournament. Our plans were foiled when the cashier informed us that the sandwich menu is not available on Sunday mornings. Noticing the one favorable review on the pastries, I ordered a chocolate chip scone ($2) and my daughter went with the morning bun ($1.50). The scone was extremely dry and crumbled to pieces when I broke off a corner. The morning bun seemed more fresh, but lacked the buttery richness of the classic Ovens of Brittany morning bun. But at $1.50, it was a good value. No complaints about the coffee, the Blue Heeler from Colectivo. The place gave a strange vibe. One of the two other patrons stared at me as I picked at the crumbs of my scones. Just wasn't the warm, welcoming space I've experienced at other coffeehouses. We didn't stay very long, since I couldn't pick up a wi-fi signal and I needed to find place that served breakfast. I'd return for the coffee, but not for the pastries. read more

A cute, fun place to go and hang out. A smoother roast than starbucks, and the drink choices are far more varied, interesting, and delicious than the average mom & pop coffee shop. They're locally owned and use a local coffee roaster. read more

Caramel bruzee is the best item on the menu. Great staff, delicious coffee! I also love how they have Collectivo coffee for purchase. I always get a pound of blue heeler from them. I also enjoy how they have a drive thru, which makes getting coffee easier with kids in the car. read more

I have been to several coffee shops throughout the country, including many great shops in the Seattle/Portland corridor. The Latte Donatte is fabulous, not just for the coffee, or the pastries, or the customer service, or the atmosphere...for all of the above. The shop is cool, comfortable, welcoming, responsive, pleasant, relaxing. I'm very pleased with the staff and the food. The Morning Buns and their Chicken Salad on Croissants are awesome. The staff and the coffee are great and these types of locations are ALWAYS better than the corporate mess that Starbucks has become. The staff is cordial and personable. The common crowd comes back repetitively. I noticed all ages and all types of coffee drinkers in and out a number of times. When you go, be sure to pick up one of the handmade yarn dishcloths that the Caring Crafters of Watertown make for the Wounded Warrior Project in supporting wounded Soldiers coming back home. This is an amazing coffee shop. Walking in you can tell it isn't too big. However they do have plenty of seating and during the summery months they have a patio. The tables look like hand crafted pieces of art. Typically I hit up the drive thru to get my "20 Below" and a chocolate chip scone. Their scones are amazing. They actually made me fall in love with different flavors of them. The 20 Below is basically a chocolate brownie with chocolate. Great coffee, great sandwiches, friendly people...what more could you ask for? I love the monthly drink specials they offer, and enjoy getting the potato bacon quiche every time I'm around for breakfast. There is a deck with tables and chairs to enjoy the fresh air, and umbrellas for shade on those hot summer days. I stop in for a drink and a bite to eat whenever I'm in town! read more

Not impressed. No greeting when I entered. Two people working, but no eye contact or any form of recognition as I stood at the counter. Decided to set up my computer (maybe the drive thru had a massive order?) Finally after being back at the counter for a couple minutes, asked if they could make a large iced earl grey tea. Not the most difficult order, but seemed to stump her... Said there may have been some sweetened iced tea left from Summer (it's almost February...) Inquiring further, she said she could try adding ice to hot tea, but it might be watery. Obviously no clue how to make iced tea. I nicely said no thanks, and headed over to Tribeca (where I had been in the morning) where I was again warmly welcomed back upon arrival. The sad part was that as I repacked my computer and departed, there was no communication from the Latte Donatee staff whatsoever - no apology, no asking if I wanted anything else, no asking the 2nd employee if they could make an iced tea, not even a good-bye. My impression was that they could care less if I patronized their shop or not, so I didn't. Fundamentally ignoring the customer and/or their needs is an excellent way to guarantee a bad Yelp review... Sad... read more

Oh my goodness! Consider me addicted!! I love the beverages this place offers, and the chicken salad sandwich is a must try! It is such a cute place, and what better way to warm up in the winter than by getting cozy next to the fire place at Latte Donatte. Not sure why so many comments are negative about the customer service, I go there at least 3 times a week in the morning and the girls working always give me a great attitude! Especially for it being early in the morning! I recommend this place over Tribeca any day, and don't even get me started on the fake stuff Starbucks sells! read more

Amazing coffee (they use Alterra), unsurpassed customer service, sweet staff, and gourmet baked goods (they have a private pastry chef who makes custom goods). You definitely have go try their Clover Latte (latte with honey) with a Madeline pastry or scone. If you like the sweeter side of things, try the moka blanc. You wont be disappointed! read more

LD is a favorite --- the "Cheers" of local coffee shops. While not demanding, I do have expectations. Therefore it would be rare for me to give out 5 stars. However, LD, is within that ability. And until it gets there, you can most always expect a very comfortable atmosphere conducive to conversation, a board game, or quiet time by yourself. Employees are of course human --- treat them respectfully and you will be rewarded with the usual excellent and pleasant service. The variety of coffee, drinks, food and treats is also very good. It is no surprise to see both locals and "out of towners" returning on a regular basis. Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence. Posted an update stating that she didn't get back to me, but apparently the response she clearly did send me to a follow up question was eaten by Yelp as I never saw it. Anyway, she responded to me immediately again and it seems to be a issue with the app or my own error. My apologies for that. Giving them another chance when we are in the area. Latte is one of my favorite places to go sit and study. I go in at least once a week to get some work done, and always receive excellent service when I go. I usually order a large coffee, and the baristas are always quick to ask me which brew I would like, and they will always explain the roasts to me if I don't know which one to get. The staff is friendly and knowledgable, and will usually engage in conversation. The pastry case is always stocked with pastries that are to die for, and every time I go I have to control my self from buying everything behind the glass. On several occasions the baristas have gone to check if the pastry I want is in stock in the back, and I appreciate that extra effort. Plus, if I find something wrong with my coffee, like coffee grounds, they will always fix the problem for me. The workers take pride in what they serve, and are knowledgable in their coffee products. I enjoy my weekly visits and will continue going for a very long time. I would highly recommend any coffee lover to visit this top notch shop! (They have good coffee themed gifts for Christmas too!) read more

I stopped here today for my very first time, I even informed the employee at the drive thru window it was my first time. No impressed at all. I ordered a medium Mint Cookie Chiller and 8 donut holes (received 4) The mint cookie chiller is no better than what I can get from McDonalds. I also felt like a huge bother to the cashier for asking about the donuts being that I have never been. For a medium mint cookie chiller and 4 donut holes I was charged $7.76 when I called to ask about pricing for one medium mint cookie chiller and 4 donut holes I was told the total for that would be $6.61. This is the greatest coffee shop you will ever find in a small town (or maybe anywhere!!!). They use Colectiva coffee, Rishi teas, and make the most awesome freshly made pastries!!! The scones are the BEST! And to top it off, the staff are all super sweet and do their best to know your name and order! Truly a gem! read more
