Since then I've grown, I've taken responsibility for my uninspired ordering and can now confidently say--they have some of the best coffee shop breakfast bites around. What should you order? Their strawberry avocado toast. Strawberries on avocado? I'm unsure, you may be muttering. Please do yourself a favor, stop muttering, and just order the dang toast. It's goat cheese sprinkled, balsamic reduction drizzled, and quite simply some of the best avocado toast I've had the pleasure of consuming. What else? The baked oatmeal with berries. Warm, comforting, and adorned with fresh berries--it's the stuff winter dreams are made of. I love during the holidays they have some fun holiday lattes (s/o to the jingle bells latte) and I've also recently ordered and enjoyed their tangerine mocha (citrus-y delight!). What you now get for a London Fog Tea Latte is a drink with some dry foam on top and warm, flat milk underneath. Because I know they used to make these correctly, I took my drink back and asked about it. Long story short, they have replaced their original machines with manual steam wands and switched to "new and improved" machines that use automatic steaming. You place the wand in the milk, push a button, and voilà... a cup of lifeless hot milk. Dry foam on top, little to no texture below. It's fast, and I can see how it works well for a drive-through model. But it's a real disappointment for anyone who appreciates a properly textured latte with that smooth, creamy mouthfeel. Even with these machines, better texture is possible, but it takes more time and attention. When speed becomes the priority, quality is usually what suffers. The one consolation is that their Coffee Cake Muffins are still amazing.

All of their flavored syrups are the Monin brand so nothing homemade and very artificial tasting. I ordered a bagel and it was $5, and it came with a Jif PB packet and Smuckers jelly. I wish they would at least have homemade jam or a peanut butter that doesn't have terrible fillers and oil in its product. I then asked for cream cheese and it also came in a packet. The bagel ended up being hard after 20 minutes and I had to toss. The prices are so overpriced for the quality.
