Very popular spot with underwhelming food and not great coffee. I decided to tag along with my mom to try a spot after running some nearby errands. I ordered a Iced Dirty Chai Latte, it's a very flavorless chai (can't taste), thick and syrupy, the coffee didn't come through and tons of sugar granules were filling the bottom of my cup after receiving. I didn't enjoy my drinking experience. As someone who has tried fresh award winning roasted beans, good pour over and solid espresso shots I knows about quality and this coffee is far from it. I tried my moms coffee order to see if it was better and it was extremely milky and the coffee didn't come through again. I ordered their taquito wrap and it was lacking in flavor as well despite having lots of ingredients. Their sauce which is a smoky barbecue kind of chipotle (the best thing I tried) with a nice spice overpowered the whole dish and other than the sauce it lacked flavor. I love Latte Love! My sister and I went here to do homework and work for the morning. We arrived around 9am and had no trouble finding a table with an outlet for our laptop chargers. I ordered the Peppermint Mocha Chai and it was delicious and arrived with a cute mini candy cane on top (not pictured because I ate it before remembering to take a photo). It was definitely on the sweeter side, which I liked, but might not be for everyone. The cashier was super sweet and friendly and drinks arrived quickly. Throughout the morning there was a steady stream of customers, but I didn't notice anyone waiting too long. It wasn't the quietest environment for working since there is music playing all day, but I didn't have meetings so noise wasn't a problem. After working for a while, I decided to get lunch as well. I love the avocado toast here because it's always flavorful and reasonably priced at $6 for 2 slices. It did have a decent amount of red pepper flakes - not an issue for me but something to be aware of for anyone who doesn't like spice. I came in today to try their Halloween beverages, and once again latte love brought their A game! These lattes are both unique and delicious, while I liked both; the trick was next level---creative, cool and delicious! You gotta try it! The treat was yummy as well. With all the candy on top it's truly a treat! Michael made my drinks and he was awesome, o love chatting with him as he made them. He was wonderful! Sophia was also working and she was super sweet as well. What a wonderful staff! The shop is always chic and clean. The new specialty coffees are so good! I've had the tiramisu ice latte and the spice cookie butter latte and both are delicious it gets so hard to pick which one I want that morning. Every month they have new specialty drinks on the menu and it's displayed so nicely when I go to the drive thru. I've had previous experiences where they would add too much ice and not enough coffee but they really got the perfect ratio down! I visited Latte Love for the RI Food Fights Iced Coffee Summer Celebration. I visited the Killingly Ave location and I ordered a Dolce Nana iced coffee with whole milk and a piece of the Hawaiian Banana Bread which had banana, coconut, and pineapple in it and topped with maraschino cherries. I have also visited the Killingly Ave location a number of times previously and I've also visited the Comstock Parkway location. I have to say, I like the Comstock Parkway location better. I find that the coffee and lattes are made better in that location. I also wasn't a fan of the Hawaiian banana bread, but I have had their cinnamon cream cheese banana bread and that is very good. The Killingly Ave location has a good sized parking lot, a drive through, and plenty of room inside to hang out and drink your coffee. The Comstock Parkway location has a significantly smaller parking lot and building. It can be difficult to park there on the weekends. Lines can be long at both locations depending on when you go, but they staff the shops well and there are a lot of people working the counter and drive through so the line moves! read more

This is my second time coming to Latte Love and I'm not impressed. I got an Iced Mocha Latte on my first trip here and it tasted like Nesquick. Today was my second visit here and decided to get a double shot espresso. The espresso was decent, gave me a nice jolt and wasn't as bitter as some other espressos I've had elsewhere. I also had a Buenos Dias sandwich on an Asiago Bagel toasted and this was enjoyable. This sandwich had avocado, tomato, egg, chipotle sauce and toasted perfectly. My girlfriend had their matcha latte and their BOM special. It's clear in my opinion that this place has better food than drinks. Visiting from out of town and stumbled across this place looking for a good coffee. Ended up stopping at Latte Love and was surprised by the line to the door, which lasted from the time I got there (10:30 on a Saturday) to the time I left (about 30 minutes later). The line gave me enough time to look through their extensive menu, and I ultimately decided on their coconut creme bru-latte, a specialty iced coffee with a coconut cold foam and a creme brûlée top. I also got their lox bagel. Everything was very tasty! The bagel had a nice amount of smoked salmon and other toppings, and there was plenty of everything bagel seasoning on it. The latte was awesome, definitely on the sweeter side but not overwhelmingly so. Prices were fair and all in all, I'm very happy that I gave this place a try. The staff are friendly and the vibe of the shop is cute. I was glad to see the line and the high ratings online, because this place is worth it. There is also a drive thru if you don't want to stop in, but if you're looking for a local shop to support, I would recommend going here! read more

The place has nice curb appeal, plenty of parking I was impressed with how clean the establishment was, there's plenty of seating, and the service was great. I never tried can't the breakfast items during my week in RI, so I can't speak much about it, but I they looked fantastic coming out. As far as the coffee, I totally approved. This was my first time visiting this Latte Love location on a Sunday morning. Parking lot? Trash and slow. The cafe itself? Spacious and fast. I like to order their crafted and seasonal drinks. This time, I tried Buns and Bites shaken espresso with caramel, blueberry, and a blueberry muffin. The duffin was okay, nothing to rave about, but the coffee was really good. Very cinnamon heavy. The breakfast sandwich that I usually order is the BOM, which consists of chorizo, egg, spinach, and peppers on a Portuguese bolo roll. DELICIOUS. I also recently tried their Taquito breakfast wrap and it was really good as well. Latte Love has a good variety of both sweet and savory options, but I prefer the savory. Again, very spacious location so plenty of seating and area to study in, but also very busy as I noticed customers just walked in and out right away. First I will start with the positives: I've been a huge fan of Latte Love since its opening, coming multiple times a week. All of the workers are super friendly, and I really do love all of the coffee and latte concoctions. The food is great too and always fresh. I love all of the specials they come up with seasonally. The three stars is for the following: The size portions of the beverages is just way off compared to many other coffee shops in the area. This has been an issue since day one but prices have increased a few times since opening and again very recently with no change in cup sizes The small is tiny, the medium is actually a small and a large is not even a medium- the medium and small you can hardly tell the difference but there's a price hike obviously between the two sizes. For a medium iced shaken espresso, a large iced shaken espresso and a rice krispy treat we spent $20. It's pretty crazy. Another issue is on the weekends expect to wait at least a half hour in line inside or in the drive through. I really think investing in a second register inside may help the lines that go out the door on the weekends. Sometimes even during the week. For the reasons above I've been going 10 minutes down the road to a Smithfield coffee shop where the large iced beverages are actually a large and I'm getting more for my $. read more

This place is so cozy! I had never been here before, and met my cousin for coffee. Neither of us realized that there were TWO Latte Love Coffee Houses, and we were each at a different location! I met up with her at the Johnston location, just a 5-8 minute ride from the Cranston location. That gave us a good laugh! Bar seating in front of the windows, tables for large and small groups scattered throughout. There was a delicious display of breakfast breads and pastries. Outstanding independently owned cafe with innovative drinks and a huge menu. I went to Latte Love for the first time after a friend of mine praised it to the stars for their drinks. The hype was warranted, Latte Love rocks. My order was a vanilla coconut crème brûlée iced latte. The attention to detail from the baristas was truly something else! The latte was rich, sweet, and topped with a coconut cold foam, and topped with burnt sugar (presented like an actual crème brûlée). The drink had a delicious dark sugary taste from the brûlée process that just elevated the whole drink. This was one of the best iced lattes I've ever had. The vibes at the cafe are mellow; it's got some cute decor and plenty of seating, as well as free wifi for anyone looking to send off some emails while there. The menu is extensive (sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, coffees, smoothies, pastries). In all, would definitely recommend trekking out to Johnston for this gem. read more

We were on a girl's trip to Newport RI and had to stop for breakfast! I was so glad we stopped here! The place was cute and had just the perfect amount of aesthetic vibes! They had a great "butterfly wall" for any photo session! Don't worry about parking, there is plenty! The staff was extremely nice and friendly! It comes with capers, cucumbers, tomatoes and red onion. I always ask for just the red onion. No other veggies please. Oh and I ask to have them cut it in half. Not once have they cut it in half. And most of the time the put everything on the bagel. It's not that it's not fresh, because it is. I just don't understand why they can't get it right. I don't like writing unfavorable reviews.
