    Matcha made in heaven
    Stephanie T.

I've been back to Rise 'N Shine Coffee Bar multiple times now. Every time I go, the staff punches my rewards card. Once you have 10 punches (a fully punched rewards card), you can redeem a free drink and be entered into a drawing for another free drink. The drawing will be held at the end of every month. I entered the drawing in April, but unfortunately did not win. I always enjoy seeing the rotating seasonal drink menu and specials. In honor of Valentine's Day, Rise 'N Shine Coffee Bar had a drink called Matcha made in heaven from 2/1-2/29/25. The drink was truly a match made in heaven with matcha and Munroe Dairy's strawberry milk. It was delicious and I got it multiple times when it was available! Strawberry and matcha works really well together. Most places that have strawberry matcha use a strawberry jam, but Rise 'N Shine Coffee Bar uses strawberry milk and it's soooooo good!!! I've also gotten the Blue Skies Matcha one time and the Gardener multiple times. For friends, they have gotten the Blueberry Pancake Latte from the spring menu and In a Nutshell for friends. They really enjoyed it. I am assuming The Blueberry Pancake Latte did really well because it was still available in the summer. Besides drinks, Rise 'N Shine Coffee Bar also offer pastries. I've gotten the Knead vanilla glazed and strawberry pop tart donuts. Both were fresh and very good. Don't hesitate and go and visit Rise 'N Shine Coffee Bar! Staff are friendly and drinks are aesthetically pleasing. There was one time the staff forgot my drink order, but it only happened that one time and it never happened again the multiple times I've revisited.

Still in love with Rise and Shine, my favorite coffee shop in New England, one of my favorite coffee shops globally. I tried the winterberry latte today which includes cranberry and orange zest on a coffee with a white chocolate hint. It's refreshing, not too sweet, and visually appealing. The music today was a soft jazz, which fits the cozy winter ambience. Rise and Shine was much busier than when I first started visiting it, and I see a bigger instagram presence as well. Applause to them - it is well deserved

This is an adorable place in Smith Hill. I love the history of the space as a cobbler and all of the shoe forms decorating the café. The tea I had was lovely and it even came with a little chocolate!

I had a great experience at this cute little cafe near Downtown Providence. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and a wide variety of drink options on their menu. My friend and I ordered the Guava Garden and the Lavender Fields drinks and they were both delicious. The flavoring in both were not overly sweet or artificial tasting. We also got the butter croissant and one of their donuts. The interior space is really cute and well decorated and their bathroom was very clean and painted a nice, calming light blue.

Highly recommend trying out this quaint little coffee shop! It's within walking distance of downtown Providence and it's nestled in a very cute neighborhood ( off of Smith-hill). It's especially picturesque in the fall with all the changing leaves! The backyard patio also offers a beautiful scenery with some privacy as well! Aside from the decor, the coffee and pastries here are incredible as well! Given the season, I had the pleasure of trying their Pumpkin latte and it was divine! The cappuccino and blood orange with hibiscus tea were tasty as well! Can't wait to come back to try more of their unique flavors!

Literally one of the cutest coffee shops I have ever been to. I love all the pink and the shoe shine theme. Such a cute play on words. The menu is pretty extensive and they have a lot of really unique flavor combos for matcha and lattes. The barista was friendly and patient with me while I tried to decide. I didn't want something too sweet, so I ended up with the churro and it's quite tasty. I would certainly try some of their other flavors the next time I am in. They had quite a few tables inside for the small space and event a back little garden "patio". It was great and somewhere I would totally work from. Street parking was easy. Looking forward to heading back in again soon.

    Stellar menu.

I've just ordered the Hot Blueberry Pancake drink (they also have iced). Not only is it the best drink I've had, but the service and atmosphere are one if a kind.

I ordered "The great pumpkin latte" - Maple & Spice (Iced) coffee and added "Pumpkin Cold Foam" the service here was pretty quick! My friend and I grabbed a table and before you knew it my name was called. The presentation of the drinks were pretty and I enjoyed the flavor of the pumpkin. The cold foam could have been a bit more creamy and a bit more thicker but overall there was a good combination of coffee and milk. I also tried the "maple latte donut" and WOW! Delicious! This location only offer's street parking but seating won't be an issue. There's seating inside, in the front of the store and back of the store! Overall had a pretty good experience.

Cute spot! They had recently opened (I think?) when I visited. I had a lavender fields and it was nicely made. (My friend had the orange grove and also enjoyed it.) We got lucky and were able to snag outdoor seats on a nice day. I'd love to go back and try some other drinks!

I've passed by this place a few times while driving through the neighborhood and I stopped for the very first time a couple of days ago and ordered the iced Peanut Butter Cookie coffee. I was not disappointed by the flavors. It was so delicious and tasted just like a peanut butter cookie! I stopped in again a couple of days later because I really wanted to see how the Churro chai latte would taste. It was good, too. Staff is pretty friendly and the place is clean and has fun decor and very nostalgic (I'll have to ask them when I go back, why there are so many foot related accent pieces). Do be warned that if you customize, you are looking at up charges. I paid extra for oatmilk.

Have I never reviewed this neighborhood coffee shop. Super cute inside too. I'm gonna go on a limb here. Best fancy coffee in Providence. The baristas know the regulars names-I like to watch that feels sweet. I love the lavendar fields. Such a lovely drink. They add shredded orange peel on top. A little citrus surprise.

Lovely little spot. But we felt like as soon as we walked in, we were an 'annoyance' to the barista. Her attitude kind of put us off and made us feel slightly unwelcome. Although the coffee was of good quality, my cortado was half foam, and not even filled to the top. I'm sure had it been made like normal, I would have enjoyed it even more. Overall, it seems like a great place, I just think the staff need a little more training.

The snow made street parking a bit tricky, but thankfully there are a few parking spaces in the back of the building. Once inside, the bakery was lively and smelled absolutely delicious. There was a great selection of fresh artisan breads to choose from. I ended up with the durum loaf, which was perfect since I planned to make an olive oil dipping sauce. The bread was exactly what I hoped for crusty on the outside, soft on the inside, airy with a mix of large and small holes, and full of flavor. I also couldn't resist picking up two Valentine heart sugar cookies with jam because they were just too cute. The only minor downside was that the employee who helped me wasn't very smiley. Not rude at all, and my order was handled quickly, but it felt a bit different from the warm cafe vibe you might expect. Prices are higher than if you went to a mom and pop bakery but this was expected. Overall, a great stop for quality bread.
