Michelle Rose had all the paperwork organized and in place. Everything was clean--to my tough standards. We had help waiting (even though we ran late) to make sure we moved without issue. Herman the property manager jumped in to unload boxes, talk about above and beyond! Our valet Kadeem worked like a machine to help us unload and get trailers off the street. Even the neighbors down stairs at Mr. Ed's Oyster House made us feel welcome. It was a crazy exciting move, sight unseen, which really worried me. We made all arrangements without even a visit. No worry now at all. It's a fantastic place in a fantastic city where my son was received by kind hearted people without exception. The building was more beautiful in person than online. The little experience I have had with Stephanie Boyd with SRSA Commercial Real estate leads me to…read morebelieve she is an unethical agent. She called my business on Thursday July 1st. We were having major issues at the time with the software not processing credit cards. We had a line of people trying to check in, check out and the phone was going crazy with incoming calls. My desk lady answered the phone and handed it to me. I explained to Ms. Boyd what was going on and she literally would not let me off the phone so I hung up on her. I told her I had no interest in acquiring more property at this time. She then proceeds to review my business not based of any service the business does but my hanging up on her. She then proceeds to tell about this wonderful listing she has and leaves her name and number. How unethical to have someone who is not familiar with your business leave a 1 star rating then try to sell her product. I called the management at SRSA real estate and Mark had already left for the day. Mark did not even attempt to call to find out what one of his agents had done. They are only out to make a quick buck. Stay away from this firm. Any offering memorandum they present is trash. It's all made up. He is very committed to his client and exceeded my expectation in getting my house sold. Despite events happening outside his control, he never gave up and always found the best solution. Mr. Thomas was on hand to supervise the work and guarantee that the task was completed correctly and on time. He put in a lot of effort to sell my house and used his knowledge and experience to secure a contract higher than my asking price and my house sold in a timely manner. I jumped on it! I was so excited to get in this apartment and I was certain with my 10+ years of flawless rental history, great credit score, and cash in hand to pay the deposit, we would be ready to go after a walk through. I am moving from Los Angeles to New Orleans and need to solidify a home for the New Year. James Thomas, was my contact person and at first seemed cordial, but it quickly eroded from there. I am used to closing deals quickly as that is how you stay competitive in a competitive market, so I emailed him an application (one that had already been approved in New Orleans for a more expensive property, I just preferred this listing). He then sent me an another application to fill out, no problem, but seemed like a waste of time seeing as he already had one in hand and this online was was way less extensive than the one I had previously sent, so there was no where on this application to list references, other sources of income, etc. He called me this morning to tell me I do not have proof of employment in New Orleans so he didn't want to proceed. I have a booming freelance business, it is not BASED in New Orleans, I tried to explain. I could give references to my flawless work history. I was willing to send tax returns and any documents necessary as I make over $5,000 a month and this apartment was only renting for $1275. He cut me off. James Thomas was rude, unprofessional, and this was the oddest rental application experience I have ever had. Spare yourself the trouble.
