I specifically said that I wanted the whole service and the ballon release recorded, not the dining . Instead I received a bunch of clip work with a ton of pauses,stops,restarts and the speeches of my guests speaking about my husband cut off or either started after they had already started speaking. Some of the video was blurred and he sent me 2 mins of insigficant video,claiming that was it. After going back and forth with him I asked for ALL the footage that was taken for the 2hr service. Thats when I received a file of out of order clips. I was furious and devastated. This cant be redone. I wanted something to look at later with my grandkids and I have a mess of unedited clips! He was on his phone while supposed to be filming the service. Totally unprofessional and out of line. He ruined my memory of my husband's homegoing. Then he recorded the dining anyway!!!! This business posted a special price via their Facebook Fan Page for a session. I immediately…read morecontacted the business and stated I was interested a session as the discounted price ($50.00) and if they had an indoor studio. I mentioned that due to life commitments we would not be able to book the session by the end of the month (the time the special expired). I was told that it would not be a problem since I contacted them before it expired. I offered to purchase the session at that time and simply book it later as a show of good faith. I did refer at least on family to this photographer during this sale. When my family finally did get the time to book a session it was several months later; and I had stayed in touch with this small business over the months. We scheduled the session and the day of the session (two hours before) I was sent an email regarding payment and the prices was almost quadruple what I was expecting. This was after no less than 10 emails getting everything set-up; my husband arranging time off from work and purchasing new outfits for the day. It was to late to find a new photographer so, we paid this inflated price. When I reminded the owner about the special she told me it had expired so, I reminder her about our agreement and her answer was: "our prices are subject to change at any time". We went to the photoshoot and had a horrible experience. We were taken onto someone's private property to take the pictures and while it created an interesting background it was illegal. The photographer picked the time of day for the pictures and the location. Most of the pictures were shot were the subjects were looking into the sun so, everyone was squinting. Out of the 75 pictures we eventually received (3 weeks AFTER the promised date) only 2-3 of them were usable. The photographer did not take the time to make the little things were correct in the pictures. Such as shirts straightened, not squinting, a natural smile, glasses placed in a backpocket to not be seen were shown, hair fly-aways, and numerous other issues. The best pictures (and only usable pictures) were the ones were my 75 year old grandmother chose the location near a park. The park we walked through to get to the backlot of a private business. Oh yeah, and the indoor studio this photographer had - no longer existed. She had dismantled it, but never said anything in the numerous emails exchanged to work out all of the details. i was not happy with this experience and would never recommend this photographer to anyone else.
