So a friend gave me a coupon and told Me about this store...so I popped in (with my shiny new grandson /the holidays in mind). They have some wonderful educational play things for babies! Things that are hard to find elsewhere in town nowadays..it only took 5 minutes to find three different items to choose from! I was able To use my coupon which helped nicely! During these challenging covid times, and facing the daunting reality that my daughter would be starting her senior year of high school from home, I wanted to spice up our townhouse a little and help give her some inspiration as she dives into her academic year. So we headed to Launching Success and wow, did we have fun. I hadn't been to LS for several years - but was thrilled to find they still carry the same, high quality games, toys, books, supplies and other things to support homeschooling and home learning. Our first stop was at their fidget toy display, where my daughter picked out a couple of nice things to "play" with and help keep her focused during her days of Zoom classes. Next, we checked out some of their awesome art materials before heading to what I call the "teacher zone". This area of the store is FULL of all that cool stuff you see around your kid's classroom and you wonder where they got it. Well, they probably got it here! From posters to banners to you-name-it this room almost inspired me to return to college for my teaching certificate. (Hey, I said ALMOST.) While many of the items in this area are geared towards real classroom use (like signs about rules, or birthday lists) we found a couple of inspiring signs to put up around my teen's desk, as well as some organizational bins for pens and other supplies. Launching Success would also be an excellent place to buy high quality gifts for holidays or birthdays - they have a huge variety of games for all ages, and their prices are very competitive. read more

Only came the one time for a story-time and craft activity, but the store looks wonderfully full and engaging for children of all ages. The story time began with some free play, then stories, and an art activity to round off the hour. While the woman reading the story was friendly and really good with the children, her monotonous tone and unwavering expressions made for a rather lethargic story telling experience. Would love to return and explore more of the store, the toys and projects available to children. read more

This is my favorite toy store ever! It has games, toys and crafts for all levels. As a mom, I love knowing that I am buying things that are fun for my kids, but also challenging them academically. As a teacher, this store has just about everything for any subject matter and completely accommodating to order specialty items if I need. My family and I have been supporting launching success with our business for the last few years. We believe in supporting local businesses. We have never had any issues until lately. My kids needed uniforms for their school, my parents as well as my husband's family bought them uniforms for the next year before school let out for the summer. The kids weren't with them so some of the sizes were wrong. I went in and had them exchanged, some of them had to be ordered. Then the school changed uniform colors, so I had to exchange/ re-order again to the new color for my son and both my daughters. I do understand that it's a lot of exchanges and ordering for them, but several things weren't in stock and a mistake was made by the clerk and the wrong cut was ordered, so the correct one needed to be re-ordered. But I don't understand why I was made to feel bad just trying to get the right sizes and colors for what my children needed this year. When I went in to collect the last of the order, I was treated and talked to as if I was a child. She just kept saying " we are all done with exchanges, right?" " you have everything you need, right?" She said that a few times in a condescending way. I felt uncomfortable and embarrassed. I felt bad for wanting the correct uniforms for my children. It was crazy for me too, I didn't want to have to deal with all the changes of uniform colors and exchanges either. I'm happy it is done and we have everything now. I feel so awkward now about ordering uniforms there that I think I'll order from Lands End from now on. We have spent hundreds of dollars in that store over the years, especially lately, so it's a shame that we won't be supporting them with uniform purchases anymore! read more
