Wha a great place to get your laundry done in the area of downtown London. This laundromat is located in the quaint neighborhood surrounded by high rises and businesses. The lady that manages the location is truly a gem to speak with. She is so helpful and willing to help her patrons with folding and washing. She also provides change if needed. She has a very interesting past that is inspiring. If I ever go back it's be great to reconnect with her again. The laundromat itself is clean and tidy. We came w just carry on so we needed to do a load. The medium sized machine was plentiful, much bigger inside that the outside seemed. Super helpful attendant that guided us through the process, including helping us find a local coffee shop down the street. Yum! The cycle runs about 40 min and it had just completed when we arrived back Three sizes of washing machine sizes. Small(6£), medium (8£) and large (10£) These machines only accept 1£ coins but the attendant will exchange notes for them for u to use, no cc. Dryers are high heat and .5£ for every 4 min. Takes both 1 and 2£ coins. If you don't bring ur own detergent, they sell it for .5£ a cup which they'll top load for u before u start ur wash. No dryer sheets as they find the high heat to not leave u w any of the sheet scent anyway. They're open daily for varying hours and offer self wash as well as service wash for a small fee 3-5£ depending on machine size. read more

This was a very convenient and clean laundromat in a safe part of town. It's cash only, but Jack, the owner, will make change for you, and offer washing estimates and suggestions. They sell soap too and you can even pay a bit more to have them wash and fold for you. If I could give 6 stars, I would. read more

Claudia at this Launderette was a God send! Extremely helpful specially with coins/change and I enjoyed a wonderful conversation with her including her being from Venice and how her grandmother helped preserve rare paintings from the famous Uffizi Galleria adjacent to their home during the War. Our luggage was held up in Heathrow's mountain high piles of baggage crisis and between Ireland and London we scrambled for casuals (entire week) from various local stores. Laundry was not easy to find here in London hotels and pick up & delivery services weren't able to get it done in time. Coins and change was also very difficult to find. This was a 15 minute walk from my hotel. I'm glad I found it and got it done before my flight back. Close to the hotels at St James's park and Victoria station. Large and smaller front loading machines. You will need pound coins. They did give us coins for our bills. They will also do your laundry for you for an additional nominal fee. It was a godsend to have this option after 6 days in London and on our way to South Africa. read more

A bank and money exchange are close by. Medium machine for 7 pounds washed my whole weeks' worth of clothes! When our vacation rental did not end up having laundry facilities as stated, we sought out a laundromat in the Westminster area. SO glad we found this place!! Claudia is a legend! She assisted us with converting our bills for coins, she gave us a quick tutorial on the machines, she even recommended a local eatery for dinner while we waited. We really needed to do a load of laundry after arriving in London. The man working was very helpful in getting us change and loading the washer/getting detergent. The laundry was done quickly too and only took 40 minutes to wash and 25 minutes to dry a large load. This was very convenient and we will definitely be revisiting if we need to wash more laundry on this trip. read more

Found our way this am from Victoria Station. Only had one load to do. Easy to find. Clean. The machines were perfect! There was a cafe across the street at the corner for breakfast while we waited. The best thing about this launderette was the gentleman who worked/owned it. He was so helpful and nice. We had a grand time talking with him. Will def use again when I am in London. read more

Was passing through on a backpacking trip with friends and this was one of the only self serve laundry we could find, very small but the lady working was so sweet and there to help, the washing machines were fairly fast but the dryers took some time. It was 8 euros for a big load and I spent about 4 euros to dry my clothes, and 1 euro for laundry soap. I would definitely recommend this place if your passing through. read more

It's typically a 24-hour full-service company that you will find. I found this place, close to a cafe and restaurant (while you wait). This place is clean, easy to use and the young lady that manages it is wonderful! Her name is Claudia. You can wash yourself or she will do it for you. This Laundromat was a godsend. I was staying at a nearby hotel for two weeks so I needed to do laundry and the hotel rates for sending out your clothes to be washed were ridiculously overpriced, so I found this place on Yelp and it was amazing. The gentleman that ran the shop was very friendly and helpful. I just left my clothes there and came back an hour and a half later and everything was washed, dried and folded for me, for only £10! Great little find near our hotel! There aren't many places near our hotel to wash clothes and we found this place within a 15 minute walk from where we stayed. As soon as we got there, a charming lady (Claudia) and her friend (Amanda) were so helpful and entertaining to engage and chat with! They helped with the machines and even recommended some pubs nearby for us to visit while they washed, dried and folded our clothes. Glad we found this laundromat before we left for Dublin today. It was only .3 miles from our hotel (Hub). This place has 3 small washers-£5, 4 large washers-£7 (1 not working) and a giant washer-£9. They also have about 7 dryers where you pay 50p per 5mins. If you don't feel like doing your own laundry you can also ask the attendant who is very nice and helpful, for a laundry service. I'm just not sure if you can drop off and pick up the same day. read more

Although we absolutely love the hotel we are staying at in Westminster a couple of blocks from St. James Park, when we sent out some of our laundry done we really had sticker shock! So we decided to be adventurous and find a coin laundry within walking distance. The concierge was helpful in directing us to this location. It was no more than a 10 minute walk from our hotel through a lovely little outdoor market. Claudia is very helpful to tourists confused by the pound and directions etc! Also very helpful directing process for coin laundry! In the 40 minute wash cycle we were able to explore the surrounding area and have yet another croissant and delicious cup of coffee while reading a trashy magazines from a local news store. Even if I had all the money in the world I think I would choose to go to the coin laundry versus sending out at the hotel, for the principle of it, and for the ability to have another opportunity to walk the streets of London and figure out how everything works. read more
