I followed Yelp's advise on all the positive reviews and dropped a bunch of my laundry here. They charge 85 cents a pound for drop off service. Initially they did calculations wrong and overcharged us so we asked the guy when we went to pick it up he was so apologetic and offered a $2 credit. He also adjusted all the Calculations and said the lady was new. They packed my laundry like it was going to be shipped overseas. It was so tightly packed and beautiful and smelled AMAZING! They even used softener. I highly recommend dropping your laundry here. Everything was perfect. Everything came out to a little under $50 but it was A LOT OF STUFF! read more

Mark does a really good job with my clothes. I get them back clean and neatly folded in a plastic bag, nothing was lost so far. He comes and collects and drops off and is good with communication- telling you when he will arrive etc. Prices are good too. For pick up and drop off service, you need to give him at least 10 pounds of clothing. Ivel been using his services pretty consistently and will continue to do so. read more

This place is one of the cleanest and friendliest laundromats in the area. The machines and floors are always spotless and the carts don't have backed up dust around the wheels like some places. The washers and dryers work well. I never have a problem with the dryers not getting hot enough or getting holes on my clothes from a beat up machine. (This has happened to me plenty of times from other laundromats!) The machines accept coins only but there is a change machine in the back. The washers are $4.50 for a maxi load, $3.25 for a triple and $2 for a double. The dryers are 25 cents for every 7 minutes. There's about 20 washers and at least 10 dryers. I wish this place was closer to my house but I'd rather drive the 5 mins to get my laundry done here than any other places near my area. read more

I've been coming here for over a year now and they never disappoint. The couple who own it are very nice, especially the wife- very sweet. They do an excellent job! I've never had any issues at all. My clothes always smell good when I pick them up. It's a bit of a walk from my apartment but I can't imagine dropping my clothes off anywhere else. This is probably the cleanest laundromat in the area. The machines are always working, which can't be said for a lot of places, and I see the husband cleaning them often. I don't ever use the machines, but come here for all of my dry cleaning. A server once spilled soda water with red bitters all over my favorite dry clean-only white shirt. I brought it to Mark and showed it to him. Dry cleaning wouldn't take out the stain, he told me, but he could try something else. He soaked it in a special solution for a few hours and then washed it by hand - the stain was gone! He only charged $5 for this. Best laundromat / wash n fold in Bedstuy. Every time I have dropped off clothes they are ready the next day smelling fresh and folded neatly. Mark always asks if I want a specific detergent or fabric softener and which wash and dry cycles I prefer. I have not lost a single piece of clothing in the 6 months I have taken my laundry here. If you prefer to do your own laundry the prices are reasonable and there are always at least 2 machines available. Mark is also always stocked with quarters. 10/10 I highly recommend Mark Lu Laundromat to anyone looking in Bedstuy. read more

This is the best laundromat I have ever been to. The people working here are extremely kind and do a fantastic job of keeping the entire facility looking new. This place is brand new! All of the machines work and none of the carts have squeaky wheels. There's always an attendant on duty, so no problem changing your two dimes and a nickel or crisp twenty dollar bill into washer-friendly currency. I once tried to wash a giant polyester comforter that was made of some space-age crappy material that's impermeable to liquids. It became waterlogged in the wash and the attendant came from his office with a bucket and helped me wring it out. No problems here. read more

"Pop the quarter in the slot" small laundromat with about 18 washers that look new, but older dryers. The owner will gladly give you change for the machines, saving you from feeding the change machine patiently with your highest integrity bills. Just when I thought I couldn't love the drop off service anymore... My daughter spilled chocolate milk on her stuffed unicorn. I expected them to just clean the chocolate milk off, but they also managed (I don't even know how) to get off some melted on crayon/wax/candle that had been on it for at least a year. I dropped off a couple sweaters here for dry-cleaning. When I got them back, it was clear that they had not been cleaned. One sweater had a stain on it that was not there before. They refused to even partially compensate me for the sweater that they ruined. This place cannot be trusted. read more

I only came here because the washer/dryer in my apt isn't installed yet, but the person working here (owner maybe?) is so nice that it's making me want to come back! Ridiculous notion given the convenience of having your own washer, but he really is that good of a guy. For example, he saw me looking around for an outlet to charge my phone, so he went in to a closet and pulled out an extension cord for me to use. The place is spotless too. read more

Mark is super nice and friendly, that in and of itself is enough to make me go back. However, the place is also clean, not too busy, and inexpensive. They also do dry cleaning for a good price and with a quick turnaround. There's also free WiFi which is a great added bonus. read more

The drop off Service I used for years on Fulton Street closed down and I'm looking for some place to provide service comparable to theirs. The staff at this place was very courteous. But we had some issues. The clothes were not ready when the said they would be. Also, the staff was handing us the wrong laundry bag. Thank heavens my husband recognized what was going on before we actually walked out. And I'm really particular when it comes to having my clothes folded - when I receive them from drop off service I expect them to be properly folded and ready to be put in my dresser. However, the shirts were not consistently folded the same way. I hate that. read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE. Brand new machines... Clean... Friendly staff that don't leer at you. I can't believe this is in Bed Stuy.
