I have a small washer in my apt so I came to the laundromat to wash my comforter. I came on a Friday evening it was busy but not too crowded. I quickly located a front loading small washer and was able to use my debt card and save my change. The dryer also accepted debt cards. There is plenty of chairs and folding tables around so you aren't on top of one another. read more

I've been a regular customer at this laundromat and have spent quite a bit here over time. However, after my experience tonight, I'm strongly reconsidering where I do my laundry. I arrived at 9:30 PM, unaware that the last wash is at 9 PM, as the posted closing time is 10 PM. Instead of politely informing me of the policy, an elderly staff member immediately began yelling at me. As I started gathering my things to leave, she stood over me the entire time, then took one of my bags and followed me to my car--placing it on the ground before walking back inside without a word. It was an uncomfortable and unnecessary interaction. Had I been treated with a bit more kindness and professionalism, I would have understood the policy and gladly returned another time. But the rude treatment I received tonight has made me seriously consider taking my business elsewhere. read more

Dennis and Tee were so helpful to this laundrymat newbie. They helped me determine the sizes of machines I needed to get everything done efficiently as well as how the machines worked. Tee got a cart for me, and Dennis made sure that I was aware of the coffee. They both did this with smiles and great attitudes. I really appreciate it! As laundromats go, it's better than average. I washed some larger items here that wouldn't fit into my washer at home. I had no problem finding a triple loader free, and they charged $8.50 which is a good value. Their change machine worked well and they also offered a vending machine for laundry products (which I didn't use). I noticed there was an attendant present, and she was mopping the floor when I left. The women's restroom was clean and stocked. The building itself is older but the facility and machines are clean. Plenty of parking available, as well. read more

I wanted to take the time to write a review specifically about Dennis, who seems to be a "new hire" for this laundromat. I have been coming to this laundromat for about 2 years now, and I noticed right away the difference in customer service that Dennis showed every customer who came in. He was so helpful in assisting customers with questions about the machines, laundry products that were available, etc. Dennis made my experience so pleasant that I look forward to going back to get my laundry done again! I never write reviews unless the service was exceptional or totally unacceptable. Great for me, it was the former and not the latter! Keep up the good work, Dennis. I've used this laundry occasionally for 5 yrs & it's really at a low point. It's always crowded, 25% of the washers are broken and it's def not as clean as it used to be. Maybe new owners caused the decline. But whatever the reason, I'm done. read more

I'm only reviewing the dryers and the staff because that's all I've used. On my way from home to work this is well located for me. The facility is clean and the staff is helpful - I went before coffee so I had dumb questions about changing a $10 bill into only enough quarters to dry one load... didn't want $10 of quarters. They have bill changers and separate machines for coins. I hope that once my dryer is installed I won't be back, but nice to know it's here if I need it. read more

Definitely going downhill. I just left and my clothes smell musty and foul because attendants weren't cleaning machines and because people are vaping in the parking lot. When I started washing here in February, it was a wonderful, sparkling, diverse place-- fun to visit w/ clean restrooms & clean machines. Today there were dryer sheets all over the floor & I picked up wrappers and a juice bottle rather than step on them as I was getting out of my car. I need to find a new laundromat and wash and dry my clothes all over again, which pretty much wastes my day. I'm a bit irritable right now. Two thumbs down. read more

I have came to this laundromat about 5 times. 2 out of the 5 my clothes were taken out of the washer and the second time they were taken out of the dryer. Both times there were lots of empty washers and dryers so there was no reason for my wet clothes to be touched. When I got my clothes the second time they were still hot. They have signs they tape on the washer to explain why the clothes were removed and both times the sign was not on my washer/dryer. I pay about 15$ to wash my clothes and I don't need random peoples dirty hands touching my clothes. read more

Prices are reasonable but what really makes this laundromat stand out for me is the customer service. I always feel intimidated going to the laundromat, like walking into the cafeteria as a kid and having no idea where the food was, where to sit, what to do. Almost like you had touched down on a foreign planet. Most laundromats are empty, you never have a clue who actually works there and no one acknowledges your presence, but at Courtesy you are greeted as soon as you walk in the door. The people there are friendly and ready to help. They even help when you are having trouble with a big load or just explaining the set-up. Really impressed. Washers/Driers: 5/5 - Not old, powerful and easy to use. Service: 5/5 Location: 5/5 - Big folding tables, some seating and usually cartoons playing for the kids (not that I have any but that's nice). read more

FYI: I am reviewing Courtesy's coin laundry, not the other cleaning services. I clean and dry my laundry here often in the coin-operated machines. The staff members are very friendly and helpful. They keep the facility nicely clean. It's cool that they offer free dryer sheets. My only minor complaint is that the hot water in the washers is usually only lukewarm. I plan to continue going here for as long as I live in this part of Indy. read more

Okay. I've decided to take a stand on Courtesy. Yes, I think their prices on pants are a little steep, but it's apparantly reasonable relative to the other cleaners in the area. However, their service is superior. Since we've been going there for a while, my fiance had the guts to mention the button issue. They immediately fixed the buttons for him. They also cleaned a shirt multiple times because they couldn't get the stains out - even though they don't make guarantees that they can. The other big thing is that it's family owned. Everyone is so nice to us. There's a lot to be said for that. read more

Best Laundromat in Indy! ...and I know, I've been to most, lol. Honestly the staff is what makes this place so special. It is the great group of people that work there. They are helpful and cheerful and understand going the extra mile. Every single time I'm there, whoever is working, is always helping out the customers; opening doors, helping lift heavy loads, etc... They are just so sweet and generous with their time. Been doing my laundry there for 2 years, no problems. Staff was courteous and helpful, and the place is clean and there are always plenty of washers/dryers. 9/1/2014, I got there at 8:50 p.m. That's late for me, but a few minutes later, I was putting my clothes in the washer, and the skinny, 5'7" black girl behind me said, "We're closed. You have to go." Because she didn't say, "Sorry, we're closed," but just a curt, "We're closed," I thought she was joking since I had seen customers in the past squeeze in the doors right at 9 p.m. I said, "Are you joking?" (because I couldn't tell...I had seen her working there once before and never once saw her smile, so I thought maybe that's what she looked like when she was joking). She said, "No. You have to have your clothes in the washer and the door of the washer shut by 9 p.m." I took out my phone and showed her the time displayed, "8:57." (When she said this, it was not yet 9 p.m. By the time the two of us finished this conversation, it was 9 p.m.). I asked her for her first name so I could tell the manager about her customer service (honestly, this is the second time I've seen her in there and both times she was rude every time I saw her. In fact, the first time I saw her, instead of saying, "Hey, welcome to Courtesy Cleaners. Let me know if you need anything!" (like the other girls there), she said nothing and sort of stared at me like she was annoyed that there was another customer. Anyway, I'll find another place to do laundry, since I don't know when the rude girl doesn't work. read more

This laundry mat is amazing! Coming from a small town where laundry mats are a thing of the past, and if you must go to one-- they are usually scary and warn down-- this was a shock to myself! Super clean facility, nice washers and dryers, and AMAZING CUSTOMER SEVICE-- absolutely the most helpful sincere customer service I have ever received from any business! The man working there, opened the door for me-- lead me to the perfect size washer for my comforter, helped me with finding laundry detergent (because I totally spaced bringing some) gave me a free laundry bag, 4 dryer sheets, and tennis balls for drying my large comforter. ALSO, brought some quarters back to me that I had left on my washer! Amazing people, amazing clean and safe place to do laundry! read more

Did several loads of laundry here recently when our machine was in need of repair. I was able to go on a weekday during the day to avoid any crowds. Popped clothes in washers, left to run errands, and returned to bring wet clothes home. Change machine gives quarters, facility is clean, staff is available. No problems. Wouldn't hesitate to use again if necessary. read more

I haven't frequented many laundromats but in the very limited amount that I've gone to this is by far the best one! The staff is very friendly and to be quite honest I don't think I've ever seen them with anything but a smile on their face. The staff is also on top of things. As soon as we started putting in our laundry they came and asked if we needed refreshments while we waited since there was coffee on the other end of the place. Once we were moving our clothes to the dryer the woman was right on top of things saying that they provide free dryer sheets! The machines are very clean and never broken at any time that we go. The loads on the washers range from $1.75 (can't remember exactly as we only used the large washers) to $5.75 (this is what we primarily used as it lets you do 5 loads of laundry at once. There are also massive dryers which cost just a quarter for 6 minutes of time depending on the size of dryer you use. I would recommend starting at 6 minutes and periodically check your clothes so you can save some money that way! While the still wet clothes are drying you can also start folding your stuff. But hey don't let me tell you how to live your life. My only piece of advice is that if you need a laundromat this is definitely the place to go! We will be back! read more

Everytime we come in we are welcomed by an amazing staff. There is this one young lady that just makes you happy to be there, I do not know her name but she has a beautiful personality.
