Clean space, kind staff -- but payment headaches, tight aisles, and no indoor seating I chose Laundry Love while my home machines were being serviced because it's closest to me. First impression: very clean. The attendant on duty was friendly and helpful. The problems started with payment. The digital/card system was down, so it was quarters only. There's no on-site ATM, so I ran across the street to the liquor store, paid a $3 ATM fee, and came back. Later, when I needed more quarters, the change machine was empty or malfunctioning. The attendant improvised with a vending machine to get me $5 in quarters--above and beyond, but customers shouldn't need workarounds. Comfort and layout are issues, too. There's no indoor seating, and the outdoor metal benches sit in direct sun, so waiting outside is rough; I ended up sitting in my car with the AC on between cycles. Aisles throughout are tight, so moving a cart creates bottlenecks and lots of "excuse me" just to pass. The restroom costs 50¢--I get the deterrence angle, but a customer code would be fairer. Easy fixes: restore digital payment and keep the changer stocked; add an ATM. Comfort upgrades: provide shaded or indoor seating; offer a restroom code for paying customers. Laundry Love is clean and staffed by good people--but payment reliability and basic comfort matter. I'd gladly return if those are addressed; otherwise I'll choose another laundromat next time. read more

They overcharge for the machines that barely use any water. They charge to use the restroom, and the carts cannot leave the facility even when you are just trying to use them to load your baskets of clothes from your car (that is in the tiny parking lot) to the laundrymat. If there are a lot of people, good luck trying to move through the aisles. read more

Machines are expensive but overall clean place. Only 2 size washing machines. The dryers didn't really dry my clothes enough. I had to run out through two 20 min cycles. I've been to other laundromats where 15 mins was enough. read more

This has been my go to spot for years but prices have been raised repeatedly and the quality of the machines has gone down. I hate musty smelling washers and part of the reason I used to like coming here was because that wasn't an issue - now it is. The water levels in the washers also are much lower than they used to be. There are only a few carts that are always taken, so now I have to hand carry wet clothes to the dryers. Bummer as this place used to be consistent and reliable. read more

This place has gotten a HUGE upgrade! So boom -- they got their own little parking lot and plenty of parking on the street if it ever got that busy. Once you drag your laundry through the door you may or may not be greeted by an attendant, I guess he depends on their mood or the day. They've been present every time I've attended and can usually help with any issues you may run into while you're there. The laundry mat also offers dry cleaning services. It's nice and bright inside with big windows, bright lighting and brand new, shiny machines. There are 4-5 different sized machines in there and an entire wall of dryers. They range from $4 to maybe $10-$12 for the largest size. There are vending machines with laundry products as well as another for snacks. There's a change machine in the wall as well as a hub for their app Speed Queen. You can use this app to load money into your account and pay for the machines. There are a few televisions mounted up high, as well as nice sinks on the end caps, trash cans and plenty of carts. Yes there is a bathroom on the premises..! I haven't been inside but with the attendant around I don't imagine it would be too out of hand. I don't recall seeing any seating beside the bench outside. I definitely recommend this place. If you can, go on a Tuesday or Wednesday when the dryers are free. it will be a little busier than usual but you'll save some money. read more

I just went to go wash well I tried to and this "women" that works was very rude I never seen her before it was my first time seeing her i don't know if she's new but she was extremely extremely rude to my roommate and i. we always do laundry here we literally spend 50 bucks every time we go. we were getting out quarters like any other time we gone to wash and this woman was right behind us breathing behind our necks and she tells her very rude if we're even going to wash here, that why are we getting out 20 dollars of quarters, that if we're going to take out 20 dollars in quarters we shouldn't be washing here and that we're not "ALLOWED" to take out this much in quarters.. this couple that was coming in heard everything it was extremely upsetting that she just came up to us and started being disrespectful to us when we always come here to wash. I can't not believe this happened to me today on 07/25/25 around 6pm. this is so outrageous i cannot believe this señora had the nerve today to go back and forth with us today. Exceptionally clean machines and pleasant staff. They do have the nicest speed queen machines that are more pricey that the old wash-a-teria days but most worth it! The parking lot is a tetras game of respectful patrons. You can use your credit card to wash here rather than buckets of quarters clanking in your pocket. They will also wash it for you for $1.50 per pound. They are open every day until 10pm for your late night trips on the laundry train, toot toot! I am here washing my home from a flood we had last week. Our brand new washer pump was too powerful for our old small waist water drain pipes and so they clogged and broke leaking all into our floors and walls. I brought 10 trash bags full of towels, cat beds and personal clothes and was done in about 2 hours flat. I haven't been to a laundry mat in a million years and was a bit shocked by the price hike. It's no longer a 4 quarter load situation. We are talking $7 - 10 a load baby! However dryers are the 4 quarter situation still, for a firm dry. The staff is super kind and diligent in cleaning each machine mopping, sweeping and Checking in on patrons. I appreciate you for supporting me during my laundry adventures. I did see some giant flying termites however crawling out of the cracks. Squish! I didn't want to bring him home with me. Relax people, most every home and business in LA have them. As a Realtor I have only had one home free of them and that was a brand new condo. The owner might want to call his exterminator back in as the entire place was tented recently but it needs another hit for sure. It's an on going fight that requires yearly treatments even after tenting. The exterminator should guarantee his work for 6 months to a year. Back to the wash......I also love LA Maria next door which is a fabulous Columbian restaurant next door with the best micheladas in town! It's a nice break while the loads are spinning. The food is fabulous too! The empanadas dipped in fresh guacamole and aji are divine. Wash away your worries and get clean, or drunk at the coolest corner in Noho! Cheers bubble monkeys! read more

Read all the yelp reviews about paying .50¢ to use the bathroom- this keeps the homeless out and the safety in the building ‍ The app is super simple and you get a reward for loading funds. The dryers start at .25¢ for 8 minutes- I love that it is not wasting energy and you get on with your day so quickly. I did 8 large loads of laundry in about an hour for under $40!! WHAT A DEAL! Let me start off by saying the place is very clean, the washers are only two sizes but they washed my clothes well and the dryers were good my clothes was nice and hot but my blankets and towels were still moist after drying them for 30 min on high heat. Now I want to emphasize that I walked into the laundromat at 8:28pm and asked the woman working if it was still open she responded yes until 10pm. So I immediately started unloading my car & putting all my clothes in the machines. I had 5 mid size baskets. As I was loading up the machines another customer came into wash as well. Now while I was minding my business loading up my machines, I walked past the woman employee and she was standing on the side talking on the phone loudly and noticeably upset. She was saying in Spanish how she needed to leave, why are people showing up so late to wash that she doesn't get paid enough to stay late. Literally said so much crap and then started talking about me and how I showed up to wash with so much clothes and I was taking up so many machines etc.. etc... I ignored it and continued loading my machine fast. The woman that came in after me approached me and told me the employee told her something about her almost closing and she said that she couldn't wash anymore. So she (the customer) called the number on Yelp and a man told her that the last wash was at 9:45pm. She told this to the employee and obviously the employee got really upset. Now I usually hate writing bad reviews but this woman employee would not stop talking crap. She even went as far as to confront me and said that I was taking too long and if I wasn't done by 10pm I was out of luck cause she was going to leave right at 10pm. I apologized as this was my first time and was unaware of the last was being at 8:45pm. The entire time I was there I rushed to take my clothes out and to put everything to dry as fast as possible. When I tell you this woman literally kept mopping and cleaning in my personal space kept moving my baskets around and kept having an attitude the entire time even after I apologized it was unbelievable. Extremely rude and unprofessional woman I have encountered. I left the place at 10:18 pm with my blankets still wet cause she turned off the free dry and I had to pay for another cycle lol. I wasn't going to anyways cause I knew the woman wanted to go home and I was trying my best to hurry. The other customer stayed behind drying and rushing as well. It was probably the most uncomfortable experience I've ever had at a laundromat. If there's a set time for last wash please make it known to future customers; some posters would be nice and also please let your employees know what time they're expected to stay. This is the first laundromat where i have not felt like I am in the way. The entire facility is super clean, large machines, and a good amount of folding area. The change machine is kind of cool. I put a 20 in it gave me $15 back and $5 in quarter. I wish I had found them when my machine first broke. read more

It's pretty funny how they advertise the Tuesday and Wednesday free dry.. and today (Tuesday) it was charging me to dry. I called the help number and the owner answered and lied about waiting 10 mins to dry my clothes for free so I waited. Come to find out people had been waiting for 30 mins just to be lied to about the machines not being updated. The honorable thing would have been to pay back the money spent. It's not about the money spent on drying it's the principle. And on top of that he was really rude about it. These Hispanic white washed individuals need to realize that they're making money off the backs of their own people and they should have the integrity of treating their PAYING customers with such respect. Been coming here once a week for almost a year. Asked the worker if I could use the restroom while I was washing but she wouldn't unlock the door because I didn't have the 2 quarters required to use the bathroom and only had a credit card. I'll definitely be finding a new place to do my laundry. Very cheap behavior. read more

I came in about 30 minutes to closing (I get off work late and I was rushing to get here), and the owner was cleaning and closing up shop. She very politely told me it was too late to come in, and I completely understood and was ready to leave, but she paused for a second and asked if I had a lot to wash. I have been coming here for awhile now Because it is close and convenient. Last week I noticed they were tarped and being fumigated. They are back open this week. We came to do laundry and the place is INFESTED with bugs. Thousands crawling all over the floors inside and on the counters as well as flying around and landing all over the place. It's really gross. Not to mention, their new pay with the app system doesn't even work properly and deleted all the funds we added. Sadly I would NOT recommend coming here. read more

I usually come on days when you have to pay for drying because it's clean and machines never gave me an issue but I decided to give the free dry days a try and I REGRET IT. The place and machines are dirty from people constantly using the them, it's so busy with people always in your way and not excusing theirselves, but also make sure YOU BRING QUARTERS!! The washing machine didn't accept payment from the app or their kiosk so I wasted a load worth of detergent, softener, and stain remover because a machine wasn't properly functioning. I was offered to use their in store detergent for free so I asked for gain and the attendant said ok but she came back with only generic detergent and no softener. So disappointed. read more
