Another laundrymat another load. Im still on my quest to find the best laundrymat in the 818 Burbank and NoHo area. I've been to a lot of mats since my favorite one shut down. This is just anothet mat on the map. This is the laundry mat with the little store inside. It also has vending machines, cold drinks, a coffee machine and massage chairs. Prices are standard. They take coins and cards. Machine are average. Nothing fancy. There is limited folding tables. Not my favorire place. Just your average spot. Parking is ok. There is a lit in the back. read more

I was just reading all the 1 and 2 star reviews and felt so sorry for those negative people that never have anything good to say about anything, or anyone any given time. I don't understand what seems to be the problem with our society?? Be happy that you have a decent, close by laundry mot to wash your clothes. Near by are so many stores and restaurants . I haven't been to this laundry mot for over a decade. My son usually does our laundry, but this time he was very busy with work and couldn't do it. We normally do our laundry at our apartment building. But, since it is a small building, there is only one 1washer and 1 dryer on each side of the building. So 4 in total. I decided to do my own laundry on the 16th of April and remembered to go to this laundry mot. I even forgot about this place. True, the place needs a little renovation/remodeling, but as long as it does it's job... who cares?!! I had 2 loads of clothes to wash and the minute that I walked in felt very welcomed by the lady in the office who barely knew how to speak English. We somehow communicated. Did my 2 loads of laundry, washed perfectly, removed all the dirt/stains that were on my clothes and dried completely after putting like a $1.25 in each dryer. From what I remember the last time that I was there, prices went up tremendously and drastically. That was kind of shocking for me. $3.50 for each wash that only takes 12 minutes to wash? I didn't like that. But, since I was already there with my hamper full of clothes to wash, I wasn't planning to turn back and go find somewhere else to wash my clothes. Got the job done, still had time to eat a light meal that I took with me, even though they have perks like fully stocked vending machines from drinks to candy, chips, and laundry detergent of so many different kinds. And let's not forget a coffee/latte/capuchino, espresso machine.They also had few items for sale right in the front of the office. Few places I have noticed cute artificial flowers on top of the counters. Plenty of washers and dryers and folding tables. Everyone was doing their laundry and minding their own business. Place was full of diverse people and yes, a lot of black people too. I don't understand why some black people think that they are being discriminated against? While I was there, there were a lot of black men and women with their kids doing their laundry. So people please...... I needed roll of quarters since I didn't have enough with me, and the lady in the office gladly handed me a roll of quarters. Place was clean, little outdated, few machines were out of order, but had signs on for us NOT to use. Will be repaired soon! Things happen lovely people of USA. Nothing and nobody is PERFECT!! Well, maybe I am. I don't know! Haven't tried their fluff and fold service, but maybe one day I will. I was reading in the reviews that they do an EXCELLENT JOB in that department. Open late hours. One of the worst laundromats in the Valley. I put my wash in the machine, loaded a normal amount of clothes, and 22 minutes later they were dirtier than when I'd put them in. For one thing there was dog hair and sand all over my shirts. I don't own a dog. I was told she couldn't even give me the money to start another load of laundry. She said I'll have to come back when the owners here and it'll take 7 days to get my $3.50 back terrible customer service and broken machines. Stay away from this ripoff joint. read more

COCKROACH AND TICK INFESTATION!!!!!!!! I JUST SAW COCKROACHES CRAWL ALL OVER THE WASHING MACHINES AND CARTS!!!! One of my friends got a fluff and fold simply because they wanted to try it out... Next thing you know, the bag had 2 cockroaches and when she searched through her clothes, it had TICKS. There is always homeless in here, dirty and smelling rancid. After grabbing a water bottle from across the street, an older Asian man sees me walking into the laundry mat and sit down with my backpack. He follows me to my seat and ask "You washing here?" I said excuse me because I was truly confused. He asked again and then said I can't just come in here and sit. I told him that I have 5 loads of clothes washing and asked who are you? He said he was the manager and walked off. I asked him did he ask everyone else if they are washing clothes since I'm the only black person sitting next to 5 other people. I 100 percent feel discriminated against at this place and I will not give them any more of my money. Not only was the "owner/manager" rude but dismissive! I'm passing this along so do what you want with it but I won't be returning. He probably would love that anyway! Protect your peace! read more

! RACIST RACIST RACIST ! I was profiled as soon as I stepped foot in this building. As I walked in, I was met with the nasty mug of an Asian man who I assume may be the owner. His eyes were locked on me the whole time I was there. I left my clothes in the car because I wanted to see how busy it was as well as the price per wash/dry. The man precedes to ask me in an angry tone, "What do you want?" I told him I was just checking the place out before I wash my clothes. As I glance around and found where the coin exchange machine was, he yelled at me, "CUSTOMERS ONLY." If I can give this place zero stars I would. I am in NO WAY racist - I'm Filipino, German, Irish and Italian. There's this lovely Asian man and a Hispanic woman that typically runs the laundrymat and usually do me favors by letting me do my laundry and I'm out before 1:30am. I showed up at 12:40. I work 2 jobs and have a 5 year old... I barely have time to do laundry. Apparently the cut off is 12:30. Even doing my ONE load of laundry, it would take me 45 min. I know this because I've been here multiple times over 4 years. This awful woman said no no no at the door ... I'm sitting outside and she's being so rude. I merely asked her if it was ok I just do my laundry and not even fold inside like I normally don't and she rudely interrupted me by saying no and she may just not have understood the English I was speaking. I have been coming here for almost 4 years now and I don't think I'll come back. She let me know that the cut off is 12:30. I apologize and let her know I'm passed the 10 min mark and instead of just letting me do my laundry like every other attendant here has, she refused my service so quite frankly, I refuse to go back. I get treated very nicely here by the woman that works during the day but this Hispanic woman was very rude and wouldn't even let me speak. Absolutely awful and racist. Do not come here if you are Black. I just moved here literally from 7 minutes up the road so it was my first time coming in. I walked in and put all of my clothes into 4 washers (each washer is $3.25 so yes I am spending money). I was told by my roommate who comes here all of the time to just bring cash and they will give you quarters because the coin machine is broken. I went to ask the woman standing next to the office for quarters, then this short Asian man RAN to me and said "What do you want?!". I then turned to him and politely asked for quarters and he said "Only for paying customers". Stunned I said "I am a paying customer. My clothes are right there?" He then told me to SHOW HIM! I just found this place and was happy because it's fairly close by and a little bit closer to a few places I've been. It looked great in the pics and has long hours, so naturally I wanted to come here. Upon entering this space was everything I expected based on the pics. The machines have nice options and there's lots of space, not so much for folding, but everyone is quick so it's not an issue so far. I saw some closet of sorts was open with a standing fan on in its doorway near the large load machines that I wanted to use. I'd been here for a bit and some older man came walking by as I was massaging my temples. He was staring at me when I looked up hearing him pass. Then he turned and looked again, and again, we made eye contact a couple of the times and I questioned what I'd done for him to stare at me like I had my dick out (with gestures not words) this door had been leisurely open with no attendant in sight, without a care. He kept looking at me as he was inside with whatever was in there and upon leaving he locked it... I don't like being profiled or mistreated, and upon writing this, a baby roach almost crawled in my bag. I won't be coming here for the previous reason, not just the roach. read more

Open 24hours.. that's what every insomniac like myself needs.... and I got ALL my piles and piles and piles of stank done in 1 hour which in my apartment complex would have taken me a whole day. It's family friendly with games and a ride, video games for the adults and soda/snack machines. I did however notice the Fluff and Fold that closes at midnight...I forgot how much it was a pound.. but I am going to try this service for my light days of Laundry... Most importantly I felt safe here at 12am.. it's close to a busy intersection so I was assuming the worse and the worse was a guy and he's friend walking in with a 40oz in hand and smoke trolling to pick up on girls, they left since the majority of people doing Laundry where couples ( yup I dragged my Erick R) with me.. someone needs to put the soap in those large machines that are taller then me.. $7 for the jumbo machines $5.25 for the extra large machines $4 large large machines $2.75 for large/medium machines $1.75 for medium/small machines Dryers: $0.25 per 10-11 minutes read more

I absolutely loathe laundromats. Nothing speaks to the mundacity of the human condition like a laundromat. That being said, my apartment facilities were broken so I loaded up my basket and headed to the closest one to home, that being Magnolia Coin Laundry. The first thing I noticed upon entering were all the machines! They're everywhere at this place. Even during what seemed to be a rather busy time of day I had no trouble finding two machines, and the selection was great. There's a "tier system" here. In other words, no matter how big or small your load is, there's a machine just for you. Now, this may be standard fare for most mats, but again, I tend to avoid them like the plague. Prices seem quite reasonable. Anywhere from $1 for a small batch to $7 for your heavy duty. Driers run roughly $0.75/20 minutes of high heat. To occupy your time while you get your tighty wighties tighty wightier, there's your standard "totally awesome in 1995" arcade machines in the waiting area along with a tv playing the Pixar flavor of the month for the kiddies. On top of that, free wifi. Suddenly sitting in a muggy laundromat doesn't make me want to open a vein. The only thing keeping me from giving this place the elusive 5th star is the lack of air conditioning. On a blistering August afternoon in the Valley, this is essential. read more

This is the second time that the owner has blatantly glaring at me sitting in the seats with my laptop waiting for my clothes to wash... he looks at me and goes over to employee working to ask if I am washing clothes so I don't use the WIFI. Updated from last review: The cleanliness is good. There is usually staff on premises doing their duties and assisting people laundry issues. The prices went up just a little (about a quarter or two) but still better prices then others around the neighborhood. They took off the WiFi. My new regular laundromat for sure! Lots of parking in the back, very convenient, well kept and clean. All sorts of toy machines to keep you entertained as well as a uniquely stocked vending machine, an ATM, as well as change machine, also very convenient. My only complaint would be in the restroom there is no sign of hand soap or even a dispenser. Otherwise it's very open, with massive washers and dryers, bigger than even the biggest ones I've seen at any of the laundromats I've been to. It's across from Subway, El Pollo Loco, Carl's Junior, Pizza Man, Walgreen's, Ralph's... so if you get hungry, bored, or need to do grocery shopping while waiting for a load it's all right there! Now let me start by saying this has got to be one of the best laundromat I've used since living in LA, prices a great for the machines, it's always cool whenever I go there for laundry day. however, the owner a Chinese man, he is very rude and does not know how to treat or even talk to his customers. Now I've been a regular customer there for over a year, never had any problems, customer service on point, until one day I had a altercation with the owner. Like I said before I've been a regular customer for over a year, I have a certain day which is laundry day that I normally go, whenever I'm there I would often see the owner face, One day I went there on my laundry day, I placed my clothes into the machine, then I approached the change machine to get some coins, as I'm standing in front of the machine the owner approached me and very rude he start demanding that I leave, and that the change are for customers only, I tried to tell him that I'm a customer, but he wasn't trying to hear it. Enraged, I walked back to my car grabbed my laundry basket and began to remove my clothes from the machine, he then saw me and began to apologize, I told him that I'm a regular customer here and I'm mad that he doesn't recognize me and how he approached me was not right, so he began to apologize some more which I accepted. Until today, now I was there doing my laundry, my clothes were in the dryer, so I brought my saxophone with me just to practice outside in the parking lot, I was not soliciting, nor was I bothering anyone, or even playing loud, seeing that there is a apartment complex adjacent to the building, some of the customers even gave me complements for my playing cause they enjoy listening to me as they do their laundry. The owner came out of nowhere and approached me and this time he asked if I was a customer, now I was shocked seeing that he don't remember my face from our previous altercation. I told him yes, and in a very rude manner he told me not to play my saxophone in the parking lot, I was so livid that I just removed my wet clothes from the dryer and left. Overall his demeanor towards me was very distasteful and really did rubbed me the wrong way. I have come here for years and all of a sudden I had a question with the machine ie problem and the owner doesnt speak englisg. I know he speaks English we have had many conversations in the past. I dislike coming here but not many choices close by. There is a smaller laundry nearby that is not all that covenient but will be going back there. Here is what's interesting: all the negative reviews from customers who are actually feeling miffed over a Laundromat, another symptom of the self-entitlement today when things are not 100% idealistic to people. "I lost 50 cents, and want it back right now!"; "the owner didn't say hello to my daughter"; "there was some dirt on the floor!"; "the spin cycle was not fast enough", etc. I have witnessed no interference from beggers (like someone said), though I go at night It's a laundromat. Come to this establishment at least twice a month to do laundry. I always feel uncomfortable due to female employees with blond hair. Watch me the whole time and make me very uncomfortable triggering my anxiety. I notice that she does the same thing when others African American customers. It's completely uncalled when I'm paying customers like everyone else. North Hollywood is very diverse community there no reason that people of color should feel uncomfortable. read more

I'd say this is a pretty decent laundry-mat. It sure beats the one at my apartment (that never dries anything!), and it's definitely better than a lot of the really raunchy spots I've been to with driers that eat your coins and don't even blow or spin... The real reason I went (instead of feeding my landlord's money-grubbing piles of scrap-metal) is because it's 24-hours, and it has wifi. Originally, I was looking for a laundry-mat near a cafe so I could pop the clothes in, then head out for a cappuccino and some studying. But this actually worked out better. The important stuff: (+) Open 24 hours, and even late at night, it's not a desolate and dangerous place (+) The machines work (one had a taped slot...my educated guess is that it was broken) (+) It's cheap(er than my landlord's machines) (+) There is free wi-fi (+) There are a few tables and a few more chairs (+) There is ample parking in the back (+) I wouldn't eat off the floors, but it's clean enough (-) The outlets are on the ceiling (?) ...so bring your devices charged...or bring a ladder and a really long cord... Other things they have going on is that it's near a Ralphs (that's open till 12 or 2 am), there is a cafe not too far away (that's open until 12am...and they have hookas), there are throw-back arcade games, and a vending machine (I think it also has little boxes of detergent...but why buy that when you can get more for the same price at Ralphs) All-in-all, I would go back, I mean I WILL go back when I have another moutain of clothes spilling out of my hamper. read more

If you're one of those people who DREAD doing laundry and you've been staring at it and you've realized that it's driving you crazy and you just want to get it OVER with, but you're too busy during the day and you don't have time. This is where you MUST go. Not because you like it. Not because it's perfect or there aren't wierdos running around but because you need to get a lot of laundry done...quick. This place has a few things going for it* #1: These commercial machines are lightning FAST & thouroughly clean all of your clothes evenly. You will appreciate this once you have been to some old school fluff & fold in sherman oaks where you waste an entire day waiting on clothes that never seem to dry. #2: Lets say for whatever reason you don't have time during the day but you're exhausted and don't have the energy you will be pleasantly suprised by how much you can get done in so little time. #3: Let's say you have a wierd schedule for whatever reason Magnolia is OPEN 24 hours and you don't have to feel completely uncomfortable about the area later at night because it is jam packed with people & families. #4: I never come home with wet socks...and there is nothing I hate more. To spend a great deal of time doing laundry only to come home with wet socks. This has never happened here. The dryers are HUGE and dry efficiently and evenly. I'd definitely reccommend bringing all of your own detergent, and fabric softener/ bleach. read more

I couldn't jump over that pile of dirty clothes in the hallway anymore so I loaded up the truck and took them on down to the old faithful laundromat. They have lots of machines and the place isn't over whelmed by la raza! 1.25 to clean on the single load machines; although I think I saw one machine that take $1. I like to use the large industrial ones and throw everything in there at once. they are good for comforters too. I didn't use the most gigantic one, so it only set me back $4.50 a load. 12 minutes of drying time will only set you back a quarter. 1 read more

Horrible experience! The attendant working here was very rude made me feel harassed and very uncomfortable. Will not be returning due to the rude service. He started yelling at me because I had a soda on a machine while using the machine overall horrible experience. Would recommend changing the personnel if you want to keep your clientele. read more

I have laundry facilities available where I live, but prefer a laundromat with high efficiency machinery. VERY clean and not too crowded at 9am sunday morning. I'll take it. I like the laundry but I dont like it that all employees bring their whole Familly as if they all work there it use tone Mitch better about 7years ago the lady that use to work there was so nice and always working hard she always had every machine deep clean the new owner lets every employee bring their Familly to the laundry and they look as they all wor there the owner should be more controllable to his employers not to let them bring all the fam in their working hours they are always doin their own fluff and fold making extra money but the whole laundry is always dirty and discussing employers do what ever they want I weash the chinito makes better rules and just have them doin their job cleaning sweeping and mopping and attendding costumers I give this laundry 1 star read more

Our apartment's laundry room was out of commission so we decided to try this place based on the yelp reviews. There were plenty of machines and rolling baskets, the prices were great and both the washer and dry cycle were lightning fast. It was clean, there was no one scary hanging around at dinner time on a Thursday night, and we got 4 loads done in the time it would have taken to do ONE. There was music playing, TV's tuned to different things to hopefully have something for everyone, and we had a blast playing the video games. There was also one of those little coin operated horses, a claw grab extortion stuffed animal machine, soda machines, detergent machines, change machines and candy and chip machines. We thought it would be awful but it was a pleasant experience! read more

I'm updating my review based on the fact that the lady I usually use is out on Wednesdays so the other lady ( usually wears baggy men's clothes and hats ) stole my shirt and clearly wore it when I picked up my clothes. I initially didn't think anything of it because anybody could have owned this shirt ( a black under armour polo valued at 50$) I wear a 2x and this shirt clearly looked like a dress on her but I assumed it was hers until I got home and was looking for it but it was missing. When I called her to ask her if she took my shirt she said no but was willing to give me "her shirt". Weird. The other lady I deal with is great and always has my clothes done quickly - I wish I could remember her name. read more

This place USED to be the best Now it's just a crap hole. They don't keep up on maintenance the machines are dirty, but worst of all the people who work there take no pride or ownership of their work. My clothes were STOLEN from one of the dryers. I tried researching the theft, and one of the employees had said "Oh yes I saw your clothes as I was leaving and was going to do something, but then I didn't" I tried to speak with the attendant who was on duty when my clothes were stolen and was told to come back in the evening. When I did return, the place was just open and NO attendant was present. I know the Laundry mat is not RESPONSIBLE for lost or stolen clothes, but if you are working and you can prevent the theft.... I'm not asking for them to replace the clothes, Just prevent them from being stolen. read more

Everything you would want in a coin operated laundry. Fast, clean, reliable.

First off I love this laundry mat and have been coming here for years. Lately it's been easier for me to come in at night. The thing about me is I'm clean, fast, and respectful. Last load is 12:30am. I came in at 12:25 I get that I'm cutting it however I explained to the lady if I spread out three loads at 35 mins and then 45 max dry I'll be done by 1:45 and I'll fold at home. Mind you they close at two. The attendant harassed me to the point where I said I would go elsewhere, which at this time is a place I definitely don't want to be at but I was forced out. I hope the owner watches the camera and sees how she acted. You just lost a loyal customer. I would also recommend you to everyone, that will also change. read more

I came here to do laundry with a friend of mine. It was night time and the place was not as clean as it should have been. There were also two homeless people sleeping in the lobby. They should have staff members on site so they can make it a cleaner and safer environment. read more

Loved doing my five loads of laundry here. It is big, clean, and has an attendant on duty. You can make change or buy washing supplies. Plenty of machines and folding tables, plus areas to sit and wait. Prices are $4.25 and higher depending on size of machine. Drying is .75 per 12 minutes. Oh, pay attention to the "program" and make sure you put soap in proper receptacle. read more

Wonderfully clean (I've seen the co-workers clean the machines 2x an hour at least), plenty of machines and a friendly staff. Just FYI the co-workers (specifically the men) might try to talk to you. Simple, friendly chit-chat. Also, the colors on the inside are USC colors because the owner is a USC alum. read more
