It's ok. One chair for a customer to sit while waiting. There's one working launder-mat person here today, and she's hard to communicate effectively with (annoying). Either plan on bringing your own quarters OR swipe the operating machine's CC reader. The RFID tap card didn't work for me. Even after trying different one's. Smaller washers are 4 bucks a pop, bigger ones are around $7.50. Dryers... $2.50, which run hot even on the low temp setting. A friend and I were visiting Delray Beach for the month of February and needed to find a laundromat that was convenient, clean and had operating machines. This laundromat was highly recommended by several neighbors, and so we gave it a try. Our first experience was helped along by Jacqueline, who was able to show us how the electronic machines worked with either a credit/debit card or the usual quarters. We completed our laundry with no issues - thanks to Jacqueline for that. Our next experience, 2 weeks later, was quite different. We decided to do laundry at 3:30 in the afternoon to beat the evening rush. The laundromat was still convenient and clean, but the machines were locked and would not accept cards or quarters. With our clothes in the washer and detergent poured, there was no attendant on site. There was a handwritten sign on a counter top indicating that someone would be "back shortly" but from 3:30 until 5:00 there was no one available. We had no options available to us - there is no phone number available on the premises and with our clothes in the washer and the detergent poured, we felt stuck. And so we waited, and waited, and waited.....until Robert came in. Like Jacqueline, Robert was able to help us get the laundry done. He 'unlocked' the machines and apologized for the trouble, as well as the time we wasted just waiting for someone to show up. Robert and Jacqueline are just really nice employees who did their best to help us. We hope that the owner of this laundromat appreciates them. This laundromat is open 24/7, but apparently if you need assistance there is no one there 24/7. That did not help the 4 people who came in to pick up laundry that was done for them, nor did it help any of us who were trying to do laundry and were on a time schedule. How very disappointing. For reference, we are two 70-year-old women who have traveled extensively both here in the United States and abroad. This is the FIRST TIME we have encountered management problems because there was no attendant to resolve issues. Thankfully, we were able to meet Jacqueline and Robert, both of whom were very pleasant, knowledgeable, and oh-so-helpful. We gave this laundromat one star - we will not use it again - because of the gross inconvenience of locked machines. HOWEVER, we give Robert and Jacqueline FIVE STARS for their kindness, efficiency and willingness to help. read more

Excellent service. We dropped off a bag full of beach wear, shirts and underwear. Lady was very friendly and accommodating. We received a text message after less than 2 hours that the laundry was ready for pick up. Everything was folded nicely and shirts, sweaters and T-shirts came back on hangers. After thoroughly searching the Delray Beach / Boynton Beach areas, I finally decided upon the Tropical Wash laundromat due to it's well cared for machines, cleanliness and helpful management. Bonnie willingly offered assistance, observing my hesitation, and kindly demonstrated the use of the machines, making it an effortless process. This laundromat should have better reviews. It seems the people reviewing were expecting something different than what a laundromat is. The machines are in great condition and pretty quick as well.. they are updated and accept cards or coins, because $5.00-$7.00 in coins is kinda heavy lol! It's conveniently located. We were staying at Hotel on SE 5th with no washer or dryer availability, this one came up a couple of times for distance... the location and ease of convenience alone is what I am rating this on, a large wash is about 25 min, and dryer is about 30 min. For a quick hour out of the day to wash one massive load of laundry is worth it. The lady inside is also helpful and attentive. read more
