During my visit, I met Holly Allen who showed us some of her latest designs, made from Indian Saris! They were beautiful! Holly Allen is well known in the local designer world and she designed pieces for a lot of the artists attending and performing for the 2008 Junos in Calgary. Carrying everything from clothes and handbags, to bracelets and custom-made charms, Chichi Couture is a very interesting and hip boutique. They offer complimentary gift wrapping for all their customers and are extremely active and present at local events (Alberta Fashion Week, Fashion Has No Borders and Miss Universe 2009, just to name a few).

What impressed me most is Holly was able to look at me and know what kinds of items would really make me look great. Well Christmas has come and gone and my wife decided that she really didn't need this size of bag for business travel. We went to the mall to get a refund. This all happened at the beginning of January. The sales girl we initially made contact with said she needed to get the manager for a refund. We waited a few minutes, and she finally came out. I believe she may have been on a break, as she was chewing something on her way out from the back. We proceeded to tell her that we wanted a refund. This is where it got interesting. Instead of initiating our refund, she began inspecting the bag with a fine tooth comb. Then she asks if we still had the tissue paper the bag was stuffed with at purchase. I said no, then she decided she wanted to clean it before even starting our refund. All this while I was thinking in my head WTF, doesn't she trust us. You could clearly see the bag was never used. After about 7 min or so we finally were issued a refund. The manager IMO was not very freindly and we won't be buying anything there again anytime soon. I've had a better time getting a root canal at the Orthodontist. Buyers beware if you purchase anything here, and decide you no longer want it. You could be in for an in depth inspection. I wasn't in the mood for accessory shopping that day, so I don't know if the prices are more reasonable. I gravitated toward the gorgeous sweaters, coats and dresses.
