I have been taking this medication successfully, at the same dose, for over 20 years. It's no big deal right? Wrong. After a 30 minute conversation they decided I am possibly not ADHD at all(spoiler: I am), think I may have a completely different condition (that my fabulous therapist of 10+ years and previous psychiatrists missed apparently), and declined to transition my medication unless I was treated for said other condition first(not simultaneously). The fact that this medication is basically required for me to do my job is I guess not that important? I am not upset, but the experience was bizarre, and the priorities were way out of order. It is their right to do so, but it's also mine to record my complaints about my experience.

Their schedule did not work for us, so we moved on. That was the end of it, or so I thought. Months later, I began receiving bills for services I was never informed would be charged. My son never received therapy here. We never came in for an in-person appointment. I called and spoke with Rose, who said she would follow up with the therapist and get back to me. I never heard back. When another bill arrived, I called again. Rose then escalated to the office manager and that's where things went completely sideways. The office manager immediately had an attitude and insisted I had come in for an evaluation. I told her clearly: I was never at your West Bloomfield office. This was entirely by phone. Instead of listening, she proceeded to repeat back private, personal information I had shared with the therapist, essentially using sensitive details about my son's situation to try to prove I had been there. That is a serious concern. She then threatened to "pull the cameras" to show I was there. Please do. Because I was never there. I'll be honest, I did raise my voice. After being spoken to with an attitude, having my concerns dismissed, and having my son's private information thrown back at me, I got frustrated. I am human. She then hung up. I am a parent who has been working hard to find the right therapist for my child. I have had many initial phone consultations and have never been charged for one. The lack of transparency about fees, the aggressive response when I raised a legitimate concern, and the handling of sensitive information in that conversation were all completely unacceptable. I initially went to her for my child's lack of focus and behavior and what I received at the end was a serious gut infection that lasted over six months. Her protocol consisted of over 30 "natural supplements" per day, the majority, several times per day, for months, which by the way also costs a fortune. But don't ever complain about how much all these things costs because she will throw that in your face at a later time. It shifted my child's gut so significantly, that every board certified physician I consulted with, including pediatric gastroenterologists and functional nutritionists stated she should be held accountable for implementing such aggressive methods on such a little body. But wait, you are obligated to sign a 50 page contract that no one has the time to fully read and you are so desperate to help your child that you sign away your rights if she messes up. Lesson learned!!!! My poor child lost 10 pounds in a matter of two months, couldn't eat, sleep or attend any social events because of how ill he became. I trusted her and followed through with her protocol for months on end because "oh she had 4+ stars she must be good, right??" Not only was there ZERO improvement, but levels of colon inflammation that you would not believe. I put my child through hell and back with numerous appointments for months on end and I spent thousands trying to fix what she did. If you believe in holistic approaches, this is not what you are getting here. Rather, you are getting everything but the kitchen sink thrown at you in a "one size fits all approach" trying to see what will stick. If you want someone who will belittle you and speak to you in the most demeaning tone and make you feel like you have failed as a parent if you dare question the amount of supplements being given, then by all means. When I told her my child was getting more sick by the hour, she turned it all around like she's the one suffering and stated that my child's situation is causing her great stress and that I should email her instead, that she would get back to me another time because she's "going off the grid." After many months of following Liliya's treatment plan, which included expensive cleanses, supplements, hair tests, pellets, and sound bites on top of her monthly fee, I was no better.  Enough was enough. I had to find more adequate care to find out what I had already suspected, my symptoms were due to menopause.
