My mom found this location via Groupon and signed up for the 2-hour massage. I went yesterday for the first time and all I can say is wow. I have never had a Thai massage before and Carlos incorporates Thai massage with deep tissue healing and it was one of the most relaxing and best body treatments I have done for myself. As soon as you enter the studio, you remove your shoes and relax in the open waiting area. I love the smooth flooring, quiet atmosphere and healing books on the table. You then fill out some paperwork for the first appointment and are ushered into the massage room when ready. The room has a clothing rack, dim lighting, relaxation music and is very tranquil. Carlos works on your kinks and stretches your muscles and body for a full 2 hours. He and his wife are also some of the most interesting and compassionate people you will ever meet. Her methods of coaching and listening are so perfect for the way I communicate and emote. She has a keen eye for way more than verbal cues but she knows my body language and can read between the lines. We're on a good path and I feel like Jenny is becoming part of my nest. She makes herself available all the time and uses real-life and visual analogies that also click with me. Jenny always leaves me with things to ponder and work on between sessions but doesn't give me "homework" because she knows my resistance. Over the past 23 years, I've tried many therapists and that doesn't work for me. Jenny is the first person who seems to "get" me in that way.
