Laura St John Photography exceeded all of my wedding day expectations. Besides the affordable price, Laura was responsive, professional, and so attentive in the days and months leading up to our wedding. In our pre-wedding phone meeting, she calmed my nerves and helped me come up with a clear schedule for the day. The day of the wedding, she acted like a wedding planner in addition to being an incredible photographer. She took BREATHTAKING pictures without being too over the top or intrustive. She also took charge in gathering together groups of friends and families, while always capturing the most amazing shots. I was speechless when she sent preview pictures HOURS after our wedding. It was just what we needed the day after our wedding to continue chasing that cloud 9 feeling. Right when I thought she couldn't impress me anymore, she sent a video less than 48 hours of our wedding, complete with pictures, footage from the entire day, and a beautiful soundtrack. I truly don't know how she does it. I wish I could choose more than 5 stars for both Laura and Kate. There are so many lovely things I could say about Laura but I'll keep this short and sweet. Before the shoot- She's professional, organized, and clear about pricing, etc. It's hard to get these elements from creative people sometimes but Laura is the exception. Day of the shoot- amazing! Worked so well with my rambunctious boys, was open to suggestions for shots, and just kept snapping away the whole time. Shes amazingly energetic and creative and will give you everything she's got in your session. After the shoot- again, professional, courteous and right on top of things. I had my digital gallery within a week and was THRILLED with the images she captured. She's uniquely talented---her photos showcased my family's personalities perfectly. Just finished an amazing photo shoot with Laura! I needed new professional shots for my new Law Firm. I called Laura to schedule a shoot, after telling her what I was looking for she recommended a perfect location on the Yale campus to give us the look I need. Laura was great accommodating my busy schedule. She was even helpful in further accommodating me when I had a child care issue and had to bring my 3 month old son. Laura helped with the stroller and keeping an eye on the baby...she even snuck in a few shots of him and I to add another element to the photos I have to work with. I never had any sort of professional pictures taken before, so naturally I was nervous for my first session and Laura made my graduation pictures so much fun! She was so nice and comfortable from the start and really knew how to make me relax and have fun with it. The location she chose was beautiful and I could not have asked for a better experience. Laura is hands down the best! Not only are her photos absolutely stunning, Laura makes you feel incredibly comfortable during your session. She guides you along and makes the whole session stress free and makes you feel like a super model! As my family has gotten older we seem to lack updated pictures of us. Thanks to Laura my two sisters and I were able to finally give my parents a picture of us that was not from 2003.
