We (Mom's daughters) bought a standing spray for my mother's funeral, we asked for a very specific floral arrangement that should have been full of yellow roses with a few fillers, but that is not what we received. Laura promised the standing spray would look beautiful as we showed her some ideas she had in her floral book. We paid for mostly all yellow roses, and only received a few with that order. We also purchased a $50.00 bouquet to put in my mom's hands which were pretty. The standing spray should have been just as pretty, or so since they costs over $200.00. The flowers were delivered to the church the morning of the funeral on 6/8/2026 and the flowers looked terrible. Some of our closes friends and relatives asked why did you girls buy that floral arrangement?. The spray clearly stated the flowers were from her daughters. The standing spray paled in comparison to the casket spray we purchased from the funeral home which was $50.00 less than what we paid at Laura's Floral Boutique. The flowers we receive from Laura's for my mom's funeral looked old and worn with a few yellow roses surrounded by what looked like weeds. We were so embarrassed and disappointed by that floral arrangement. Any and everyone that asked at the funeral where we purchased those flowers were told at Laura's Floral Boutique in Monroeville, PA. We will NEVER purchase anything from her store again. I live out of state and ordered the flowers online through Oliver Flower Shop to send to my Aunt. They were delivered from Laura's Floral Boutique( not sure if they are connected) but she loved them! She told me they knocked on the front door but she was in the back so she couldn't hear them knocking. They walked around to the back and hand delivered them to her. And she didn't try to encourage us to spend more money. She coordinated with Corl Funeral in Monroeville for our father's services, and her arrangements were beautiful! Prices were reasonable and I thought it was a good value for how pretty and large the arrangements were. Hit or miss. My husband got me a stunning bouquet for my birthday that was well worth the cost. However, the bouquet I ordered for my mom this weekend was underwhelming. I ordered a corsage for my Mom for Mother's Day. I get her one every year - a tradition started with my Grandmother and my Mom. I tried to get an orchid - they were out. I was told they had small calla lilies - I said okay. They said they are expensive - but, I knew from my own wedding planning roughly how much they were. Plus - I had searched the internet for current pricing. I said to go ahead - I only have one Mom and she is worth it. I asked them to put some "sparkle" on it. They were very helpful with times for picking up - because I had to work. They said they would be there - I know Mother's Day weekend is one of the busiest - if not the busiest - weekend for florists. When I got there and they told me the price - I could not believe it. There were 3 small calla lilies with a little bit of sparkle - and it was $39.99 (over $40.00 with tax). It was not very pretty at all - the sparkle was not what I had in mind. Of all the corsages that I have ever ordered this was the most unattractive and most expensive. I complained and was told that calla lilies are expensive and the labor involved. It was not very big and there couldn't have been that much "labor". So - they had me pick out a pot of flowers from outside the store to compensate for the expense. That was very nice of them - but, it still doesn't explain why they would charge $40.00 for a corsage. I will never use them again as a florist. They are located in Monroeville (the location is not consistent with their high pricing). If this is any indication of their pricing = they are charging way too much for their "creations" and what I got was not worth it. It was a very expensive and disappointing experience. read more

My daughter ordered a potted cyclamen and chocolates for my birthday on December 29th through one of the online companies. Apparently, their local supplier is Laura's Floral Boutique. What I got was a poinsettia, beautiful, but not something anyone would want almost a week after Christmas. Laura is a pleasure to work with! As I was driving to pick up an order during the pandemic I was thinking that I would love to have some fresh flowers to cheer me up and make each day seem brighter. I saw the sign for Laura's and called when I got home. It was a Sunday and Laura answered the phone. I told her what I wanted and she said she could do it and deliver it Tuesday morning. Tuesday morning they were delivered and were so pretty and cheerful! The flowers are very springy and colorful. The vase Laura used is so cute! It's not your typical glass vase that all the shops use. I will get lots of use out to once the pandemic ends. These flowers make me smile every time I look at them. BEWARE OF THIS FLORIST THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I wish I can give zero stars. The service I received from Laura Boutique Florist/Johnston the Florist is the WORST experience I have ever encountered. Would NEVER recommend this florist to anyone. We went to this florist two days prior to my mother funeral to pick out the funeral floral arrangement that we wanted the first day. They were quick to start an order form and ask if we wanted to pay today before we even picked out any sort of arrangement. The second day we went in, we picked the floral arrangement that we wanted and pay. We also confirm the date and time with the florist. She says that the arrangement will be at the funeral home a day prior since our viewing was so early the next day. The morning of my mother funeral, we walked in to no floral arrangement at all. We asked the funeral director about them and he says that nothing was delivered. We tried to call the shop in the morning, but the shop was closed. Halfway through my mother viewing, we finally got in touch with the floral shop. They basically blame the funeral home and my family for not calling to confirm. I do not believe that it is our responsibility to call to confirm, especially whenever we already paid for the service. To blame my family for their mistake was just wrong. My family was grieving and for you to blame us for you not doing your job is unacceptable. We never got an apology of any sort. I would recommend others if you are looking flower arrangement in your time of needs, look elsewhere. Somewhere that has good customer service and is compassionate to others. read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE for our first time to this floral store! Laura seemed to be annoyed when we ask to at least see photos to choose from for our clients. BUT.... she was happy to upgrade her suggested changes for us with an up charge. (As we stood there, A customer came in & was told that her flowers weren't ready & she needs to come back). We took note of this & arranged a specific time for our pick up since we were delivering them at the clients lunch function. We arrived days later at our designated time to pick up our $64.20 flowers but Laura shouted across the room that they weren't even STARTED yet & to come back Later. My partner went back to pick them up & was so disappointed at the small arrangement that had been thrown together with fake flowers thrown in & without any upgrades we had on our order slip that we paid for. She had to wait another 20 min until it was redone. End result was still awful. We will NOT be going back. read more

I went into the florist shop on December 14th 2020 and ordered a Christmas arrangement and asked for specific flowers and colors and when the arrangement arrived it was not what I ordered. It was half correct. I was very disappointed. I looked at my slip and it stated right on the slip what I requested. I ordered flowers on Monday online for Valentine's Day. Got the electronic confirmation that everything was fine and ordered. By 5 pm on Valentine's Day, no flowers. I called to find out what was up and gave them my order number. I was told not to worry because it can take up until 9:30 pm to deliver to residential neighborhoods. At 9:30, still no flowers. I called again. I was told then that there was a question about my order and that they called and emailed me Monday or Tuesday. I checked my phone and email records, and there was no indication that they had tried to contact me at all. So here I am on Valentine's day with no flowers for my wife and empty excuses from the person on the phone. All I got was a half hearted I'm sorry but they couldn't help me. My long distance girlfriend had to have her appendix removed and I asked in my note if they could get flowers to her in the hospital the next day - and they made it happen! They didn't even charge me extra for the ultra fast delivery! These guys really came through for me! What an extraordinary owner and wonderful shop. The owner answered the phone the day I called and was so kind and helpful. I was sending flowers to my step son and daughter-in-law who lost, on the same day, their dog of 16 years and their grandmother. I unfortunately gave her the wrong address , the kids had just moved to another house, and so the flowers got delivered to the wrong address due to my error. When I called to apologize for my mistake and ask to send flowers to the new address and was about to give her my credit card information info Laura did not hesitate, she said "you already paid for them". I said yes but I gave you the wrong address so I owe you for another bouquet. She said no, you have already paid. The kindness and caring from the owner is something I will never ever forget. I recommend this shop and will tell Everyone I know in the area that this is the only place to buy your flowers from! Thank you Laura for being absolutely the best. The children spent a lot of time talking about it and we spoke to one of designers. I asked for delivery as I was uncomfortable placing the flowers in the casket myself. THEY NEVER DELIVERED HER GRANDCHILDREN'S SPECIAL BOUQUET! They promised me first thing in the morning for an 11 am burial. For example, my daughter forgot to order a long-stemmed rose for the ceremony and called Laura a week before the wedding to amend our order.
