The markup here is super high. Wine like, Banished, Apothec, ... sell for $4 to $5 less at nearby stores.

Do not let the Liquor before the Deli fool you. Fresh Hot and Cold subs and you can get whatever beverage your heart desires to wash it down. Now there has only been one other liquor store in my opinion that I trusted to get food from, this place is officially number two. I had the Tuna sub, they do not sham on the meat. I had hot peppers, lettuce, tomatoes, spicy mustard, and a little mayo. The bread was soft which made this sammich lol even better. Oh so you just gonna come to a liquor store for a sammich? Why, yes, yes I am. Look I love a good deli and I was unable to eat lunch this date. I checked out thee good ol yelp app and saw that this place served food! YES! I got I believe the club sub, ham, turkey, BACON, and cheese, I subbed provolone for the american, nixed the mayo and BAM! talk about heaven. This sammy was huge, and stuffed to capacity. So much so that I was only able to eat one half. The other half was saved for lunch the next day and was just as good then. IMHO the price was fair for the amount of food that you received, and the freshness of the sammy. Staff were super chill, and helpful to the customers coming in and out of the store. When you're in the area and you need a drank, don't pass by that deli counter....I'm just saying. read more

A few weeks ago, I had an encounter at your establishment that disturbed me greatly. There was an older man wearing glasses behind the counter that displayed a terrible moment in customer service with me. I felt disrespected just by his attitude toward me. It was unacceptable. There was a younger man with long hair also behind the counter, who I've always seen display excellent customer service by the way. As a business owner you have an obligation to the community you serve. The community that keeps your lights on, and puts money in your pockets. Why even have a business in any community? You have an obligation to provide excellent customer service to all regardless of race, creed, sexual orientation or socioeconomic situation. Regardless of whatever kind of day you're having. If you are having a bad day you should not be interacting with customers. You have no idea whether the customer that just walked in your store just lost their mother, their child, or the love of their life. What you should know is that each customer that walks in your door is human and should be treated as such. With respect and dignity, at a minimum. You do not get to grunt and display your obvious aggravation at your customer. How dare you. Perhaps you don't know the history of liquor stores and the BIPOC community in these United States. What a great deli. I was on my way to Jersey Mikes, which is in the same shopping center, and I needed to get some beer. After I got my beer I decided to try one of there subs. The menu had a lot of specialty subs/sandwiches or you can create your own. I order Nickey's Sub which is Roast Beef, Pastrami, Swiss Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato and Horseradish spread. It was really tasty, better than anything I had at Jersey Mikes. The liquor store had a good selection and was reasonably priced. The staff was very friendly too. If you're at the Centre at Laurel shopping center you owe it to yourself to try the subs at Laurel Park deli. read more

The lady behind the counter making sandwich/ hoagies is incredibly rude and has ZERO customer service skills . Walked in for a bottle of Wine for a gift and a hoagie for lunch . I'd never been here before but the reviews sounded good so I thought I'd try this place . There was a guy stocking the shelves who was friendly but as I stood at the counter waiting for the lady to even acknowledge me , I realized she wasn't having any of that . Too busy fussing around with stuff, I finally asked if this is where I should order . She looks up at me with this face that reads " go away, I hate my job" at least that's how I felt , She whispers " yea" and that's it . Sooooo I thought for a second .... it's 1:00pm on a beautiful sunny day there's nobody in the store so she's not -knee- deep in it , and I'm like screw this !!There's 20+ places to eat around here I walked out and went next door to 3 Brothers and got a delicious hoagie and he even gave me a free drink after my ordeal next door . Also , went to Total Wine where the prices are MUCH cheaper ! Same bottle of Wine 4.00 bucks cheaper ! I won't be back and the witch behind the counter needs to be fired ! read more

Terrible Customer Service & Tainted Food in the Deli. I have purchased food from the deli a few times and its always been hit or miss, depending on the item. Today, however, they lost my business forever after serving me spoiled food and then arguing with me when I kindly contacted them to notify them so that they didn't serve it to anyone else. My order included a sandwich with avocado. At home, I unfortunately took a bite before realizing that something was terribly wrong. When I opened up the bun, the avocado was totally brown and had an awful smell. Since the owners and workers always seemed like decent people, I called to let them know about the problem to put them on guard. I was put in contact with the manager who, without giving any credit to my concern, immediately starting defending his deli. Despite the fact that I remained polite and patient, he adamantly argued that he 'never serves bad food.' When I told him of my benevolent intentions to merely put him on guard of the situation, he began to insult me and tell me that I obviously don't know what ripe avocado tastes like. (I have lived in numerous countries in 3 different continents. I have certainly had ripe and delicious avocado as well as bad avocado - I have never been served brown, rotten mush that has been passed off as avocado until today) I have always appreciated the comments on Yelp when I'm deciding between restaurants, but have never commented myself. This interaction prompted me to create my own account to warn potential customers against patronizing this place. Beyond the spoiled food, the customer service was appalling and offensive... especially from a manager. I will certainly never go there again and I would advise others to steer clear as well. read more

LOVE this deli!!! This was the liquor deli that was located across from the Laurel hospital until it was bought in 2008 and moved to the current location. Unfortunately it when down hill with the new owners and lost my business, Im glad to say the original owners are back!!! The subs are delicous and the greek family that owns the place are better than the food! Jersey Mike's has some competition with this place, subs are great and prices cant be beat ...about $7 for a whole sub! Next time your in the area grab some beer and a Bobbo sub! This place is definitely 1017 BrickSquad material. Solid sandwiches at good prices and won't let your taste buds down. Also, they have just about any type of alcohol you would look for. You can go in there and start the beatboxing and the guy at the register will start off a cypher of freestyling. It will be a pretty legit place to make a music video in my opinion. read more

Best Subs in Laurel!!!! Hands down :-) My fiancé and I went here after a long day of painting our new home. I really just wanted some beer, but decided to try them out. Liquor store delis are usually the best so why not see how they do...I asked one of the employee what was good. I said I like Italian subs usually. She gave me some hot italian ham to sample. Yummy in my tummy. I definitely ordered a sun at that point. i also got a pastrami sub and turkey sub. The service was quick and the subs were delicious!!!! They are defiantly on speed dial now. They have a great selection of liquor and are helpful when you need help to find something specific. As far as food, I have only had their breakfast sandwiches. They are bomb!!!! They do not hold back on the meat either. I would try the other sandwiches on the menu because I do not think they will disappoint. read more

Denied my valid non expired drivers license because they didn't like the expiration date. My state issues a non expiring license with 9999 as the date to military members on active duty such as myself. The back of my id even explains it.
