Appointment wait time (both when making appointments and awaiting for scheduled appointments in their lobby) isn't bad at all. We rarely sit for more than 15 minutes. My guys have been patients for approximately 8 years. The doctors are wonderful, personable, and we often get to see the "head honcho," Dr. Lerch. He is so likeable, great w/ my kids (I'm sure ALL kids), and is just a happy man. You can tell that he truly loves his job! I like how Dr. Lerch makes things very understandable to my children and doesn't baby them with anything. The APN's are great, as well as the M.A.'s. Requests for physicals, etc., are finished quickly! I'd recommend Lerch & Amato to any parent. Just as they were recommended to me years ago by my former nurse neighbor/friend.

However after seeing Dr. Amato two times in a row, chose to leave the practice. He seemed very annoyed at the fact that my other children where with me, he has no 'bedside' manner. When he asked how my son was sleeping and I told him on his belly, he got really curt and asked why. I explained to him my daughter had a problem with choking when she laid on her back, and my son was having the same issue. I also told him my son will not stay asleep on his back, but will sleep on his stomach. I told him he spent a day in the NICU because he has choked on his own spit in the room the day he was born. His response (this is no joke... ) There is no record ever of a child spitting up in their mouth and choking on it. MY ONE DAY OLD SPENT AN ENTIRE DAY IN NICU, BECAUSE HE DID THIS. MY DAUGHTER DID THIS ONE THE WAY DOWN THE ELEVATOR BEING DISCHARGED. And this was the last time I ever went to that office and I will not be returning.

We are well settled in and I couldn't be happier. Finding a Dr to replace your kids Dr is hard. I haven't had a single issue with this office. Not once. They're great with referrals also which is a big deal for some offices it seems. Not here. Anything THEY can do in office they gladly do. No shipping you out unless they have to which is also great.

All PPE was worn / guidelines followed. "Doctor Brittany" was excellent with my daughter, and had a very kind demeanor, and was laid back, yet had an attentive personality. We both liked her a lot. The front desk staff was pretty nice. I can see what the other Yelp reviewers meant though . . . I'll be going back shortly for my son's annual, so I'll update then if I feel it's warranted. I swore I'd never go back, but as the only pediatric urgent care around I was desperate 2 weekends ago. I took my now 2 year old there with an appointment, and still was not seen for 2 1/2 hours. By the time the doctor finally checked her out she spent all of 3 minutes with her (asking a 2 year old to produce a cough, which she could not since she is a 2 year old) before telling me to give her honey, and to come back in a few days if her cough and lethargy are not better. I ended up taking her to her pediatrician and she has pneumonia and was promptly put on antibiotics. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Absolutely horrible experiences both times. Go to the ER or wait until you can have your child seen by their pediatrician.

They just sent me an email notification at 9:30pm on Thursday night that I owed money with no dates of when the service was or what was done that day. In this email the corporate office will charge my credit card on Sunday. Such a short notice! Now I'm trying to call the corporate office today which is Friday to get this all cleared up. And it's been a hassle trying to get through to them! It's been many months since I've been there. Couldn't they have called??!! This place seemed to be ok, but now I don't want to go back there if this is how they're going to operate! I also have to add that I called my insurance company to verify the claims and one of them was for last year in February 2023. P.m. Pediatrics never sent me a bill! They submitted it within a few days to insurance company, but what is wrong... that they can't send the bill! I guess the receptionist's at this place in Turnersville are becoming totally bad. I'm never going back to this place. If I have a serious problem, I'll go to the ER.

Doctors do get back to you at any time, which is a positive, but our new pediatrician does the same 4 visits of bad advice, misdiagnosis, and rushy attitude. Even got upset that I was breast feeding my child at her 1 month well visit. odd for a pediatrician. The receptionist that greets you at the first window when you walk in has always been extremely rude. I think my whole attitude towards the office would've started off on a better note if they had a more friendly receptionist. All 4 visits she was rude. In fact, the only time I ever saw her smile is when she rudely, and smugly smirked at me when I went in to sign a release to forward my children's records to their new pediatrician.

I thought I had a respiratory infection of something like that. The staff carefully examined me, took the requisite tests, and treated me as if I was a long time patient. In fact, I told the doctor that I have been looking for a doctor and I asked if they ever take patients ... you know making the Urgent Care their personal care doctor. Sadly, he said no. The most important part of my visit ... the life saving part of my visit ... when the doctor came back to the examination room he calmly told me I didn't have a respiratory infection. He then asked, "Which emergency room are you going to go to?" Wait, an ER? Me??? The guy who hasn't been to a doctor in ages ... Yes, underlying what I thought was a sinus infection was a heart issue that might have killed me in a week or two but this Urgent Care doctor calmly and professionally directed me to the ER giving a quick explantion of his concerns. One week later I had two stents in my heart and a new regimen of medications, which I would not have had if I had not gone here. He got it right ... I am alive and doing quite well. FIVE STARS ... FIVE LIFE SAVING STARS!!!!
