Not much, they don't shovel your cars out either - but you will have SNOW PILED INTO SPOTS THAT SOME ARE PAYING TO USE! WTF?! There is a pool clan (please take a look we don't wanna see you in that bathing suit VOMIT) everything about this place is RIDIC!!! The $18,000 (your hoa) spent on mulch that was done in some half assed way what a mess, Old Mill sucks at landscaping and they also are assigned to the snow movement (not removal) glad we got out when we did. It's a SENIOR living complex and yet the lighting from the lamp posts barely lights anything at night. Additionally there are few to no wheelchair ramps along the sidewalks. My grandmother needed a portable ramp so that we could get her up on the sidewalk without having to hoist the wheelchair up. I agree with the complaint about snow maintenance. The entire roadway should be done with better care. It almost always gets iced over because they don't put enough salt down. But I must say again the management is horrible. Please get them some training and think about taking better care of the residents.

The surrounding area is safe and there are lots of restaurants in walking distance. There are parks in all directions which are quiet and peaceful. Public transportation is also close by. The common areas come equipped with a pool table, gym and BBQ in the center of the building. The outdoor space is great for sunbathing and entertaining. I rarely see these areas in use and we can enjoy them to ourselves most of the time. Our car is garage-kept which is great to keep it out of the rain, snow and elements. The garbage is also indoors so no need to go outside. The neighbors are very friendly and greet you. It is a nice community. Pat was great accommodating our schedule and showing us around the unit and common areas. Our 1/1 unit is spacious with an open floor plan. The stainless steel appliances are modern and the kitchen has tons of cabinet and counter space. We were fortunate enough to secure a unit with a large 400 sq ft patio and a chic pergola. We have ample room for our couches and dining set. The walk-in closet has ample space and the bedroom is large enough for dressers and a California king size bed. We see Adrian the most around the property keeping things in order. He's very friendly and caring, always greeting us and our 5 lbs Yorkie, Rolo. In the past 7 months, we have only needed maintenance once and Keith came to the rescue immediately.

They allow subletting here and have parking spots/ garages for the tenants. They also have storage facilities that can be used for a reasonable price with Bargold. You must put 20% down to purchase a coop which is a downside but the coop community is really nice. They are zoned for Elmont schools and not Valley Stream and the elementary school is down the street from the complex. They also have Key Food close by and many stores on Central Avenue. I highly recommend this complex.

The old super was ok, but Victor works hard and really cares. The manager is also doing a good job. They made the building safer by stopping the people who were doing smoking and selling drugs in the laundry room and in front of the building. He put up a gate and cameras and improved the security and now it feels safe to live here. I also like that they are part of the neighborhood. Victor helped the school kids paint the Joker stairs next to the building. It was really nice to see them encourage and be part. This is a good company. They care about the building and the people who live here.
